Hello, I would like to import my SimBrief flight into the A310's MCDU, but when I go on ACARS (after indicating my Username), when I click on REQUEST SIMBRIEF, it indicates "PENDING" and it doesn't import anythings. Do I need a paid account on SimBrief for this to work? Thank you for your help.

When I copy the active flight plan to the secondary, none of the altitude and speed restrictions carry over (---/----- is shown for all waypoints), and when I try to enter the VERT REV page for a waypoint, it always shows the page for the same waypoint no matter which waypoint I select. The return button on the VERT REV page is also broken on both the actual and secondary flight plans, it doesn't take me back to the main waypoint list, it just flashes the screen and nothing happens.

Hi everyone, I'm currently setting up a new Spad.Next profile for the MSFS A310 to use all features of the Honeycomb Bravo and unfortunately I'm a bit stuck on the reversers 🙂 So what I know is that the event "THROTTLE_REVERSE_THRUST_TOGGLE" will toggle the reversers of both engines which is fine but since the Bravo has individual switches to for the reversers on, in this case, both axis, I am wondering if there is a possiblity to achive this. Already tried to use the event "TOGGLE_THROTTLE1_REVERSE_THRUST", but this does not the job. If there is no sim event available for each engine, I would also be happy to use some LVARs and change their v…

Hello Inibuilds guys, I am trying to learn to fly the plane. I totally love it, also great work on the youtube tutorial series. I was flying from LIPZ to LIRF to test the plane, and I decided to clear some waypoints to shorten my flight path, when I tried to input a new waypoint. I tried typing "/SUVOK" in order to input it to the GOTO field (I was probably doing the wrong thing), the systems of the plane stopped responding anymore. no fms inputs, no button clicks, the plane kept flying on its own, but on a straight line and all the systems were stuck. I don't think a wrong input should be breaking the systems. I hope this report can help you guys troubleshootin…

You locked the topic, so I could not answer... Setting the volume and/or the RX function of a radio in a multi-radio plane works fine in other default planes. Look at the CJ4 for example. By turning down the volume button you can mute the radio. And in any other default plane it works with the events COM1_TRANSMIT_SELECT or COM2_TRANSMIT_SELECT It is better than what we had until now in the A310, but still only half of the solution...

The A310 FCOM says when climbing or descending, you can hit pre-set the cross-over Mach / IAS by: 1. Pushing the speed knob (PRE SET illuminates) 2. Pushing the SPD/MACH button. 3. Setting your desired speed or Mach number. The plane will either climb at current IAS and switch to the pre-set Mach at the appropriate cross-over altitude, or descend at the current Mach and switch to the pre-set IAS at the appropriate crossover altitude. Currently, STEP 2 does not work properly in Speed Mode. When climbing using IAS, pushing the speed/mach button when in pre-set mode does not flip the selected speed window to speed or Mach. It stays in Speed. STE…

When landing with spoilers armed (which is SOP) and initiating a go-around after touchdown (e.g. bounce), ground spoilers should retract when throttles are advanced (and no MLG compressed). In your current A310 implementation, they only retract to their maximum inflight position, but stay extended after thrust application. This would be an extremely dangerous (deadly) flaw in an airliner. The technical documentation that I found publicly available: https://www.smartcockpit.com/docs/A310-Flight_Controls.pdf only gives an implicit, but clear statement on page 17: "In case of aircraft bouncing, the ground spoilers will remain extended provided both throttle levers a…

The Com2 radio is now working. But there is no way to turn down the non-active radio (the one that is not transmitting). We should be able by turning the volume knob and / or pulling them to disable the rx function on a radio. Is there any other way or just not possible at the moment? Thanks and best regards!

MSFS has a rather new "FSX-style" pause, as described here: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/how-to-how-to-actually-pause-the-sim/143817 Other than active pause, this pauses all other traffic and all MSFS-managed aircraft systems as well. Can't use it with the A310, because when leaving it, fuel quatity is zero, engines spool down, crash is unavoidable. To reproduce safely: 1) Map "Miscellaneous/Set Pause On" (and -OFF) to any key or button, unless already done 2) Establish on the runway, idle power, park brake set and engage "Set Pause" 3) Leave the flight deck using the drone camera, move away, enjoy the scenery. Interestingly, it will not happen if …

Hello everyone, I'm still new on learning about the a310. I'm not sure of the reason but after capturing the TOD I keep coming in way to high on my approaches. My Flight is from KPHL to KCLT at a FL of 34k feet. Landing on rwy 36R. These are my steps Prior to TOD. I set the Alt knob to the capture fix altitude of the arrival runway which in my case is 2500', I then pull the Alt knob to trigger the descent. My Profile button is on as well as the Nav and ATHR. The aircraft does descent immediately when the TOD is triggered. However I feel that it just doesn't descend fast enough to meet the flight level constraints during the approach sequences. I'm not sure what I'm doin…

Hello INIBuild Team, I have a question about thrust reverser logic on the A310. On very cold days, as expected, a lightly loaded aircraft will taxi quite fast at idle thrust. Instead of always riding the brakes to slow down the aircraft, I tried to deploy one reverser (at the idle setting) to effectively create an "air brake" and keep taxiing speeds down, but the reverser would not deploy. Both reversers do deploy when selected together, but individually they will not. My question is whether this is a logic employed by Airbus to avoid asymmetric reverse thrust when landing, or is just the way the aircraft is modeled? BTW, I am using the Thrustm…

Hello, yesterday I tried to fly from LTFM to EYVI but when I loaded the SID from LTFM for some reason only 2 waypoints were loaded into the FMC, DE35L and TO021. Then I decided to check if same happen with other procedures and it does, same when i try to add manually the "waypoint it says waypoint not in database". In the default asobo aircraft it loads all the procedures correctly with all of its waypoints. Is the database from the A310 different from the one on the asobo aircraft? I thought they were the same. TIA

Hello, It's been twice so I come to report. The VOR display on the PFD are wrong and make it unable for VOR procedure flying. I know how to fly VOR, the nav switch is set to VOR, the freq is good on nav 1, both ROSE and ARC mode are not working as they should. I've flown A306, A310, Beluga on XP11, and now reporting issue on the A310 MSFS. You can reproduce the issue flying the INBOM 1B departure from runway 19 at FACT. You won't be able to see and intercept the CTV radial. Same from LFQQ, CIV 6E departure from runway 08, LEQ radial. Thanks Florent

I have a thrustmaster airbus throttle and use the speed brake axis as the speed brake. On more than one flight, going to full speed brake causes the engines to shutdown. I thought it was FSUIPC but I did a flight without it running and the same thing happened. There are no button assignments to the speed brake positions. If I use the mouse to control the speed brake, all seems normal. My community folder is pretty lean with only a few popular addons ( navigraph etc) Does anyone have any idea or some troubleshooting tips. Thanks

Hello, I've had the following problem with the a310 for some time: ILS landing and everything is fine. Autopilot and Autothrust is on. Approach speed turned in the FCU and Flaps full. The plane is stable. On the Glideslope the speed suddenly increases and I'm in overspeed. Is this a known bug? kind regard, Michael

Hi, I know this has been raised before but I do feel that the fuel usage of the A310 is not very accurate and the FOB at arrival is quite a bit under at destination compared to the prediction from Simbrief. As an example, I ran a flight from EGHH to LCPH using a Simbrief plan generated with the inibuilds provided airframe profile from this forum, freshly loaded for this flight. The Simbrief plan is attached as a PDF as are a few selected images from the flight of loadings from EFB, INIT, lined up for take off and on arrival to show the fuel on board. A brief summary of the actuals from the flight and the EFOB from simbrief, all weights in KG: at take off my …

If i pop up the 2d panel on my second screen with the PFD,EICAS ect. and go to the outside plane view the panel does not update. From inside the plane yes but not from outside so hope this can be fixed with the next update.. Just don`t know if this is a Asobo thing or something other, to say PMDG737NG had the same thing but this is now fixed with there last update. Hope you inibuild guys can do that aswell with your A310 🙂 cheers 😉

Hello, since I have not fully read up on the A310 yet, please verify. On all Airbusses I know, at the END OF PLAN, you get the PLN to ALTN. This you can build as per your OFP. However, this is not possible it seems on the A310, because the ALTN PLN has no start point. Say for the flight I attempted to do today. LPPT/TNCC. The ALTN was SVMI. You build your flight plan, which ends at the final missed approach waypoint. Under that line, it correctly states END OF PLN. However, the ALTN part only has SVMI in it. As such there is no way to build a route. I can't insert anything before SVMI. And selecting a STAR (let's say the ILS to 10L) yields no waypoints. So, a fl…

Most PBD waypoints I try do not work, especially with nav waypoints but also a lot of VORs. It says "Waypoint not in database". Sometimes using only the waypoint (without bearing and distance) works, sometimes not. E.G. VTK at WSSS works as a pure waypoint but not as a PBD.

I still miss Pause at ToD. Instead of closing this issue, it should be addressed! After all, the Xplane version has that too. Only MSFS lacks this feature. Will this feature come soon? And please don't fob me off. A yes or no decides. Thank you:*

When I use Spad.Next to SET the A310_FDIR_SWITCH_CAPT LVAR to "2" to trigger the "bird", the switch in the cockpit moves up, but the plane doesn't respond to the logic. It does not give me the bird. If I manually click the switch it works fine. BTW, setting the LVAR to "0" and "1" works as expected - the switch moves to the Off/On positions and the flight directors turn off and on respectively.

Hi, I'm having a problem trying autoland in the a310. I catch the localiser and glideslope easily as long as I'm at approach speed, flaps and gear down, final approach selected etc. The aircraft will decend without issue sometimes making correction to stay on the glideslope. I activate the second autopilot once the plane is following the ils without issue and the plane continues to decend normally untill almost over the runway where it will start banking left and right. the aircraft always touches down safely but with strange angles, left or right wheels down first or off centerline. The in game weather shows the weather well within the autoland capabilities. I shou…

Hi there, Having a problem with the MSFS version of the A310. When I start at an airport cold and dark, the attached screenshot shows the main panel display with some lights showing and the landing gear lever in the up position. None of the switches / buttons on the overhead panel work either. Nothings seems to work as expected when starting from runway either. I have deleted & re-installed the aircraft to no avail. I haven't seen this particular problem described in the MS forums so I assume there must be a problem with my setup. Does anyone have any thoughts?
