  1. Thank you very much got it sorted out. Greatly appreciate your response and help 🙂
  2. I have read something on these forums about Navigraph interfering with the stars & sids in the FMS causing them not to appear. I'm having this issue where I use Simbrief to generate a flight plan. Then I use the EFB to import the flight into the EFB. Next I imported the FP via the FMS. When I go to enter the rwy for the departure one of the runways for KICT is missing which is 19R all the others are there. Simbrief provides a Star for the flight from KICT to KSLC but on the FMS that Star doesn't appear. I restarted the sim and didn't use the FMS to import the fp, instead I manually enter the FP and got the same results the Star from Simbrief was missing on the FMS, and yes my airac is up to date. Any help suggestions would be appreciated.
  3. The Simbrief flight plan didn't have a Star for this route only a SID
  4. There doesn't seem to be any Star's for a few of the runways at KICT
  5. Hello all. I'm having an issue with a flight from KCLT to KICT. I import the simbrief flight plan into the FMS. I turn the selector on the MCP to select Plan to make sure I have a good viable flight plan. Every thing on the flight plan checks out with the exception when I get to my destination airport's runway which in this case was 1L at KICT. Unlike my previous flight plans at other airports the path into the runway is always in line with the runway. However at KICT the path into runway 1L does not directly line up. You'll see this in the pic that I provided. I tried flying this route and when I get to the final approach the aircraft starts behaving strangely for example it will start to move off the flight path and go in circles. I've flow to other airports and this doesn't happen at all. If someone could perhaps fly this route with the a300-600R and let me know what I'm doing incorrectly it would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Hey Guys, not sure if this is related to the recent update but I had a similar issue. Created a flight from KCLT to KDEN. Everything was uneventful until I got the a300 up in the air and engaged the AP. Shortly after take off I notice that there was no navigation line in the Nav. Display and basically the aircraft was flying straight ahead.
  7. Hi, first thank you so much for your input its really appreciated, I was starting to get frustrated with this aircraft, and I really like it for sure. Are you referring to the vertical Deviation meter that appears to the right of the ND? I did see some videos on this explaining that if the pink diamond is below you to use the speed brakes ever so slowly as its very sensitive, but then I saw another video where its explain that usually the a310 can handle the deviation without any input, however I didn't experience that. Now when the pink diamond was below the center mark I did use the speed brakes and it did try to re-center the diamond to keep it in the profile. What can be done if the diamond goes up to the top of the meter? How can you bring it back to center? I also notice that sometimes the pink diamond reacts erratically and sometimes jumps either to the bottom and shows a great negative number on the Prog. page of the FMS.
  8. Hello everyone, I'm still new on learning about the a310. I'm not sure of the reason but after capturing the TOD I keep coming in way to high on my approaches. My Flight is from KPHL to KCLT at a FL of 34k feet. Landing on rwy 36R. These are my steps Prior to TOD. I set the Alt knob to the capture fix altitude of the arrival runway which in my case is 2500', I then pull the Alt knob to trigger the descent. My Profile button is on as well as the Nav and ATHR. The aircraft does descent immediately when the TOD is triggered. However I feel that it just doesn't descend fast enough to meet the flight level constraints during the approach sequences. I'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly. I've watched many Youtube videos that show pretty much what I just described with successful results. I'm spoiled being so use to the a320 more accurate descent procedures. However I really like this old school aircraft. Any helpful suggestion would be greatly appreciated
  9. Hi, yes it was directly from the iniManager. It was the metallic retro AAL livery.
  10. I didn't get a chance to take a pic of the FMS screen, but it did show the T/D. However here's something strange, today I basically took the same flight again from KJFK to KCLT but this time I used one of the default a310, the one with the promotional livery where the a310 has the huge a310 number on the tail. This particular aircraft worked perfectly the T/D actually displayed on the ND they way its supposed to. I couldn't believe this so I took the same flight two more times and again it work perfectly. The issue I was having was with the a310 using the retro American Airlines livery. Now I for the life of me don't know if this actually made a difference. I'm guessing it shouldn't have but it did. I'm at a lost with why this should work with the stock a310. I'll try and go back to the retro AAL livery and try and see if that issue resurfaces again.
  11. I took a another flight today from KCLT To KJFK and I included a pic. The TOD should be right after the LYH waypoint. As you can see it doesn't appear. I've flown this route dozens of times on other aircrafts such as the a320 &737 and never failed to see the TOD maker. I do understand that this is a totally different older aircraft, but still the TOD marker should be there regardless the ND did show the TOC so I don't have a clue why the TOD s not showing. Today I tried to initiate a descent , since my ND didn't display the TOD what I did was look at the MCDU flight plan page and observe the point at which T/D came up, I then adjusted the alt dial to the ILS capture fix for the arrival runway. Next I pull the knob which from reading up on the Inibuilds a310 is supposed to trigger the descent once the TOD is achieved. The TOD came and went and no trigger. So I'm guessing that it may be important to have the marker displayed in order to properly trigger a descent. Here's the strange part. after about a minute where it was supposed to start descending it finally initiated a descent, but unfortunately the descent initiated rather late in the descent profile I was way too high for my final approach. Please let me know if this is the correct procedure to start the descent I've been watching dozens of YouTube videos on how to fly this aircraft and what I learned in the videos is unfortunately not working for me. I really, really like this aircraft, and its frustrating that this is occurring. Please any suggestion or other things to try would be greatly appreciated. Thank You 🙂
  12. Hi, 🙂 yes I was in Profile mode. Was I supposed to disabled that? I took another flight today and I did see a blue T/C marker, however I still didn't see a T\D marker.
  13. Hello everyone, I'm starting to acquaint myself with the A310 and its a fantastic aircraft. I took my first fight from one of the Caribbean Islands to JFK. During the flight I noticed that in the navigation display the T/C & T/D markers where not being displayed, however they were indicated in the FMS computer. The aircraft was following all the waypoints without issues, but when it came to the T/D what I did to compensate for the lack of the T\D marker I carefully paid attention to the FMS as it got closer to the T\D at that point I initiated the required lvl change in order to begin descending. At this point I'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly or if I need to enter some other data. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
