Hello Ini, I have noticed for some time now a discrepancy in fuel planned and fuel used. Today I am investigating. So, I opened up an A300-600 FCOM and went to the cruise performance tables. While cruising at 140.000 kg at FL330 in ISA+10, I interpolated a cruise fuel flow of 6.983 lbs/hr. On the gauges in the cockpit, I can read around 6.150 lbs/hr. In other words, around 13% less. Now this was a spot measurement, and more tests have to be carried out, however in any case the fuel flow seems a little frugal for these engines. I was curious if you show different data or if you know that extensive testing has already been done to match these figures. I crunched o…

There are several Issues - maybe with the Plane, but maybe me just not knowing how the right Behavior should be: I start in Cold & Dark and apply Power to the Airplane (BATs + EXT), and don't see the "Disarm" Indication lit up for the Emergency Exits (with the Switch being in the Off Position). Is that really what it should be? 🤔 (That wasn't the case before 1.0.3) Regardless of that: how is one supposed to read if that Indication Light is on or not? Can't find a L-Var for that 😕 (Before 1.0.3 I could read it via INI_EMER_EXIT_LIGHTS_ON which now turns 1 when the Switch is in the On-Position. It makes totally Sense that a Variable called ...ON reflects …

1)We should be able to start IRS line up just by typing current position, which is not allowed. 2)More than once I passed TOD and FMC went crazy buy loosing GW and CG data. And it was impossible to reinsert. 3)Flight plan is not progressing properly by deleting passed waypoints and showing current on at the top of the list. 4) VOR is turned off and unselectable, but DME keep showing closer VOR distance. I wish I could live this plane... 😞

Hi all, Been scratching my head for a day or two regarding this issue. I know how to do the RNAV approach on the A310. Being properly configured as per the book, P.DES does not want to arm at all on the A300. Unless im doing something really wrong, this seems to be bugged. Just tried the same practice approaches on the A310 and there it works as it should. I also had some frozen V/DEV issues today. Pleased to hear! Joni

The last three flights and after the update , I cannot see the exact amount of ZFW I chose in Simbrief transferring to the aircraft. E.G i want ZFW 130.0 and after I push the update from Simbrief it transfers 129.47 not 130.0 when I am trying to correct it either by add some passengers or cargo and then apply load to the aircraft, it does not do anything. Or perhaps you want to add some more fuel despite the suggestion of Simbrief, does not change anything at all. It does change the number on FUEL but does not loaded to the aircraft. Also from the begining if you choose to enter ZFW instead of PAX and Cargo and try to apply load to aircraft does not do that al…

I was just flying into Memphis when everything went all wrong. The autopilot refused to reduce speed and I couldn't change it manually resulting in a go-around (too close to the runway to salvage the approach). Second attempt, the LAND mode did not engage even though G/S and LOC were blue and the aircraft lazily drifted off the NAV track even when in NAV mode, a second go-around. During the second go-around, the thrust did not reduce and remained at TOGA power even when I leveled off at the miss approach altitude sending my speed nearly through Vne. At this point I just took manual control of the thrust. Third time the charm! This time, I was able to land after doing an e…

Hi all, I got the A300 yesterday, but ever since trying it out for the first time, I have not been able to use nosewheel steering, with the exception of one time. I have searched the internet for fixes and I have tried: -EFB Settings (Rudder Controls Nosewheel Steering & Auto Tiller Disconnect to ON) -Remapping MSFS axis for nosewheel steering -Auto rudder is turned off -Nosewheel steering limit axis is mapped when brake is pressed. -Loaded the aircraft from both cold & dark, and on the runway already running, no success. -Was able to engage nosewheel steering once on taxi out, did not utilize a pushback. However once I landed th…

Unfortunately the topic from another user with exactly the same problem is already closed....so I had to start a new one. I have the same problem: After entering the ZFWCG, the FMS screen goes blank and the whole plane does not react to any button presses/inputs/... Flight was planned with Simbrief. EDDM/08L N0453F290 TURB7Q TURBU Y107 BAKOR M984 LUSIL LUSI3A LIML/35 CI 23 FL290 Everything set up in order until INIT-B Steps on the Init-B page: Enter Blockfuel: 12.6 Enter ZFW: 126.2 Enter ZFWCG: 30.7 Screen Blank.

A friend on mine (living in another country) practical always has autothrottle kicking in in the approach phase. I suspect his speeds are outside limits for normal (auto)land. Now I dont have this problem. Am I right to think that I first have to select a stage of flaps, thus allowing AT in PROF mode to let the speed go down, do a next stage of flaps, etc. And not the other way around: waiting for the speed to come down (which I would say will not happen in PROF mode but in some manual speed mode), and only then selecting flaps? Is somewhere in an SOP or FCOM described what to do in what order?

Hi, today I did a flight from EKCH to EDDP. I wanted to enter a lower altitude constraint than automatically calculated but the VNAV path was not recalculated (see pictures). I tried this several times with different waypoints but to no avail. I know, the A300's VNAV is quite rudimentary in the real airplane but I am pretty sure, this is not how it is supposed to work. Thanks for having a look.

Hi, The background lights (indicators) for the ECAM display knob adjustments are not lit up as are other instrumentation around the center pedestal. Worth having a look if this is not intentional (see photo). All the best!

Two flights now-the throttle on the A300 won’t work past 31% even though the calibration is done, it’s on Axis 0-100 (I tried both and the throttles are moving in the cockpit. I know there was an “IAS bug” with the Bravo-the selector is off IAS/crs Any help is appreciated-edit No reverse on landing either TLDR: Thrust levers move in cockpit-no thrust beyond 32% Examples-live now (rewind to taxi-it’s like 35-40 min into the stream) And here-during landing (last 10-15 min of video)

Please take a look at the GPS altitude displayed on the GPS MONITOR page. That altitude is currently the indicated altitude and even changes when the altimeter setting is changed. It should however be the geometric altitude as measured by the GPS.

Good morning, since I bought the A300, I haven't changed planes, beautiful. I wanted to ask you if in the future you think it is possible to export the MCDU to an external tablet, like other aircraft, it would be a great thing. Thank you

Hi, I twice repeated the flight listed below in the A300 with exactly the same results, which leads me to believe that there may be an issue with DME ARCs The STAR TIGR2T is essentially a 20DME ARC from VOR GAR colocated on LGKR. The IB A300 descends on PROF just fine but then turns left at the 22.5DME GAR direct towards the airfield instead of turning right to establish on the ARC. For reference, I had the RNAV RW34 inserted, and the MCDU list the waypoint as an INTERCEPT just as it fails to establish. The Maddog behaves as expected and follows the DME right down to the approach. I thought I’d report this in case it is of use, but TBH I’ve not …

Dear: I was doing a short flight from VGJR to VGHS, ILS RW 32, 79 nm. Cruising at FL130. No top of descent. PROF mode engaged. During descend, FCU speed window is dashed, but in PFD speed target goes to 0 (zero). I have to quit PROF and use VS and manual speed select. Please help. Haseen Ahmad.

During take-off the rudder seems to become super effective as soon as the speed goes above 20-30kts. The slightest pedal deflection causes the aircraft to severely veer left or right. This leads to an almost uncontrollable aircraft during take-off roll, especially in case of crosswind. I would expect the rudder not to do much before at least 60kts and only then start to become progressively effective. Other addons do not show this (incorrect) behavior. For reference my hardware is MFG Crosswind; and steering is on a separate axis. Suggestions: 1/ Reduce crosswind sensivity and 2/ Reduce global rudder effectiveness on grou…

v1.0.3 I was doing the final flight plan entries into the Capt's MCDU when all of a sudden the aircraft was tossed into the air like a ragdoll and spinning like a top. This was at CYYC on APU power with engines not running. I'm going to give it another go. John (A300 AME)

I was really hoping 1.03 would have seen this simple fix, because FSIPanel is useless without it.

Hello, when selecting V/S mode and confirming on the FMA. I select V/S 0.0. If I now change the altimeter setting to a new value, and with V/S still active and 0.0, the autopilot will climb/descent to regain the original altitude. In other words, V/S will increase or decrease without pilot input and without a change in the selected V/S to regain an altitude which should not be the case. VS mode at VS 0.0 should be just that if I'm not mistaken. At least it is on all other autopilot systems I know.

Hello, if you have an airplane set up for pounds, the fuel weight correctly populates when imported from SimBrief (Have not tried manually entering a value), but when you apply the load to the aircraft, the fuel weight remains in kilograms. In other words you will see a pounds value in the top data field and a kilogram value at the bottom field (even though the unit says lbs.)

Hi, I love your new aircraft, but have had difficulty following the recent updates. Apart from MSFS crashing on sfter selecting "FLY" (I have sorted the reason for this out yet). My big problem is that the AFCS rarely illuminates. After IRS is up and route loaded, I go to the Pitch Trim, Yaw damper etc switches but the AFCS does not illuminate. I did once get it to come on but it switched off again before take-off. Thinking that the problem in someway related to the IRS, I switched them all of and restarted them, but it made noe difference. I never had a problem with the initial release. Can you help please?
