I'm experiencing two issues regarding conventional navigation in the A-300. First is a disagree between the bearing to a VOR in the FMS PROG page, as can be seen in the picture below. The course to the VOR is 228, as shown in both the HSI and the RMI. However, according to the FMS the bearing to the same VOR is 224. It seems the FMS is not taking in consideration the station´s magnetic variation, which ios precisely 14 degrees west. Another issue i'm experiencing is when tracking a radial to/from a VOR using the V/L function. The plane is not tracking ir properly. It seems that the same issue with magnetic variation is affecting the VOR/…

Hi, I have a recurrent problem : in a autoland procedure, after touch down then retor push + autobrake, the plane brake until taxi speed, then I have an alarm "brake high temp" on ECAM, temperature reached about 500 deg, and continue to increase. I activate the fan, and don't touch the brake again to permit a cool down, but the temperature continue to increase until 700°C (!). I though of a brake still pushed but, even if I stop the taxi, temp continue to increase. The only way to get it down is to shut off both engine. Am I missing something ?

I stayed at the ground for a long time with APU on so I got some inbalance in inner tanks. I decided to feed APU using right fuel tanks but it just got fuel from the left. Did I do something, is it a bug or an airplane "feature". I grabbed two screens with only APU on and you can see that, despite the feed configuration, only the inner left fuel tank has fuel consumed.

I flew a holding and then wanted to leave the holding. I pressed IMM EXIT* on the LEGs page. What happend was that the VERT REV page opened and the aircraft continued to fly the holding. I would have expected it to leave the holding. I was able to leave the holding with a direct to the next waypoint.

I added a holding to my STAR. Based on the charts, the inbound course would be 265° magnetic and right on the track of the previous leg. I noticed, that 258° were suggested in the FMC and I changed it to 265°. I then noticed, that the hold was a bit rotated from my previous leg: The hold was then actually flown at about 270° inbound course: Could it be, that the holding was constructed using true course instead of magnetic? The holding was around DGAA with a magnetic variation of 4°W.

Okay so I am trying to figure out if the plane has a bug or its user error. I can’t seem to get the FCU digits to show up when flying from a night flight to land in the day. For example I take off at 3am and the FCU worksite see the speed, altitude etc the moment the sun rises I notice it triggers something and the digits disappear. Now if I slide the time slider back and forth in the menu I still see the digits at night but can’t see them during the day. The anti glare knob is turned all the way up still can’t see the digits am I missing something ?

Could I confirm that the EFB performance pages use magnetic heading for the runway and true for the METAR? For Cape Town (magnetic variation 26 degrees West) I noticed that the true wind from the METAR is inserted into the performance page when syncing: But the runway heading is magnetic: If the EFB were comparing apples with apples, it would need to use 156/17 magnetic for the wind, or is the variation taken care of in the background?

Guys, this is SO bad. The aircraft is unflyable, I can't even get off the gate, as the cockpit freezes just by accomplishing basic FMC functions, such as adding a departure runway, or a STAR or arrival runway. I've made 7 different attempts, and the result is the same. Sim continues to function, all aircraft functions freeze. What worse is there has been no response to these reports. Why is nobody from INI on this forum responding to these issues?

Just tried a flight with the A300R after the newest update 1.1.1. and unfortunately experienced, that now it was impossible to steer the aircraft using the rudder pedals, allthough rudder steering was enabled by the settings. The aircraft was only going straight ahead, no turns on tayiways where possible anymore. Does anyone has some advices for me? I could see that using my pedals where hrapgically shown in the cockpit view as well on the pedals as on the flctl page. Kind regards Johannes

I flew to ZMCK with the ILS Y 29 approach via SER 1. It has an outbound leg to the right at 129° with a left turn towards final. During preflight, the drawing on the ND looked correct for the procedure. However, when flying, the INTC waypoint moved to the left instead of right: I am using Navigraph AIRAC 2405.

I bought the A300 last week and got a couple of flights in using the GE version. The aircraft is updated to the latest version. I'm quite well versed in the operation of the aircraft. I've made 7 attempts for a simple KMKE/KMKE circuit ( with the beautiful new Ini Scenery) departing on RW 19R and returning to the ILS 19R. every single time a WASM crash stopped the aircraft from responding to any inputs, while the sim continues to function. many simple actions seem to trigger the crash such as starting the APU, (hung, would not start or restart.) loading weights from EFB, programming FMC, clearing route discons, etc. all result in CDU and FCP going blank and aircraft no lo…

Hello! First I must say I enjoy flying the A300! However after the last couple of updates (can't pinpoint which one as I have been away for a few months) the aircraft is acting weird when flying on straight legs. It has constant Airlenon input to keep flying straight, it also alternates between left and right aileron. I have checked the rudder and it's centered. I have also reinstalled the aircraft and it is still there. Any input would be nice! (attached picture of the constant aileron input)

Hello, SU15 Beta, NaviGraph NavData, 1.1.1 (HotFix) It seems, that after a certain altitude even though the thrust rating panel calculates a certain EPR for CL, the actual EPR values are lower. So, I tried to disconnect the auto-thrust and set it manually. However, even with the engines firewalled, I cannot even achieve CL EPR.
