Hi, Yes, it is entirely possible and normal for the A380’s FLX N1 setting to be lower than its Climb N1 setting. The primary reasons for this distinct performance trait is how Airbus calculates assumed temperatures, how the FADEC treats the air density changes during climbout, and the physics of 4-engine aircraft design. Hi, This is normal behaviour for the A340. As per our aircraft SMEs, they have confirmed that when the A340 is near empty the central bogey will slightly float off the ground. Thanks!
