  1. This thread will be the new location for all WASM Crashes relating to the Inibuilds A340 v1.0.12 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Below this message will be where users can upload their WASM Crashes pertaining to the current version of the A340. NOTES: If you do not see orange expectations screens on your displays or "WASM exception in X gauge" in the developer console it is not a WASM crash. The "sim-freeze" is a separate event that is tied to something on the server side which we are investigating with Asobo. All WASM Crashes existing in this thread will be removed following the release of a new update. i.e. Any Crashes identified…

  3. Hey everyone, I saw a previous thread on hung starts which was solved by the maintenance page in the EFB but that is not working in my case. I am getting a hung start on each engine everytime I get in the A340. - All fuel pumps on, APU bleed ON, APU bleed pressure at engines 36psi, throttles idle, no hardware bindings for fuel control or engine starters. The engines will start eventually but each one is hung and takes about 2 minutes each to become available. Starting procedure at the time was 1 engine at a time 1>2>3>4. Hardware connected is: WINCTRL MCDU, WINCTRL ECAM, WINCTRL Throttle w/flaps/Speed Brake, Mini Cockpit MiniFCU, WINCTRL…

  4. Strange thing happening here. I've only done 2 flights so far, but both have had the same issue, about 1-2hrs after departure in the cruise, I notice all of a sudden that the MCDU's are frozen with no way to input or change anything, the aircraft also locks me out of changing any autopilot inputs and goes into what I assume must be heading hold, as it drifts off the track in a straight line for eternity. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue or not, but I'm concerned to see it twice in a row on my first two flight attempts!

I've noticed that the flight control fault logic when failing PRIM's and SEC's don't follow the correct aircraft logic. For instance, failing Prim 3 and Sec 1 doesn't cause any impact to the LH outboard ailerons.

  6. Don't know why but the MCDUs are on when you spawn in, and the aircraft is in a Cold and Dark state on these "Verify" screens. When do you do power the aircraft the MCDUs go to its normal status page, but when you depower the aircraft, it stays on and on the same page, but its frozen.

Hello 👋🏽 SU 5 came out today alongside the 1.0.11 on Xbox Series X, and I have tried 5 different flights all of which resulted in a CTD. The first 3 had a CTD during the loading into the airports, before even clicking “ready to fly” The 4th came when trying to use the ATC, after setting up the flight, and was ready for pushback. Before every CTD i got the “Memory resources are getting low, disabling avionics to grant stability. Some settings may be lost due to this process” message. This has never happened before for me.

  8. I haven't flown the A340 in a month or two, and now it feels like the brakes are half on all the time. I need between 40 and 45% throttle just to taxi at a normal speed. A takeoff roll planned to be around 10,000 feet with FLEX thrust took 14,000 feet at TOGA thrust. Not having any pedals, I use a button on a joystick assigned to the in-game BRAKES variable - they are either on or off. Parking brake acts normally. Any suggestions? I did not have this problem before and I changed nothing on the config. C.Falk Lexington KY

  9. Good day. I have been trying to sort this out ever since initial release (day 1). Originally the WINWING MCDU did not work with the a340. Now after five updates to the a340 and a similar amount to SimApp Pro (SAP) the MCDU works, but not consistently or reliably, at least for me. I am on SAP 1.16.75. I am on a340-300 1.0.5. All WINWING hardware has firmware checked and is current. The symptom of this failure is as follows. Initialize plane at gate on APU. Enable SAP. MCDU and FCU/EFIS come alive and function. Set fuel and weights via EFB and Simbrief. Flight Plan into MCDU via SOP. When everything is set depart as normal. Every flight at some point the MCDU…

  10. Right after disconnecting the stairs via GSX, I get this at the gate. I have no clue what has happened.

  11. I loaded an autosave and now have about 40 fps before frame gen, flying over the black sea and whenever I try to use 4x time accel the aircraft will rock and the autopilot is immensely sluggish and sometimes as a result of this time accel behaviour due to the FPS the autopilot will disconnect However everytime I try to reengage the aircraft will do a crazy pitch up jerk and then well, disconnecting the autopilot which is extremely annoying I have to nearly pitch down to the max before I engage it just to fight the tendency it has, that should not be occurring at all 2026-04-08 10-55-50.mp4

Hello, i bought the 340-300 3 days ago and i've been enjoying it a lot. BUT, there is ONE MAIN ISSUE that makes the aircraft bad. I Fly a lot on the VATSIM network, and during events, there are a lot of route directs. Every time i am told to do a direct to, the whole flight plan just deletes itself, i tried to change my landing sequence froman ILS 24R to an ILS 24L at montreal airport, and i had to do a direct to continue my route as usual, but i am now forced to do it in vectoring because there is no flight plan after a simple "route direct" Paying 60€ for an aircraft that presents this kind of issue does feel like getting scammed on some point. If anybody know how to fi…

  13. Hi iniBuilds team and community, I’m experiencing a persistent issue with the A340 Airliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024: the autopilot disengages randomly on every flight. Since purchasing the aircraft, I have not been able to complete a single flight because the autopilot disconnects at some point, regardless of phase or altitude. What I’m seeing: The disconnects happen in all phases of flight (climb, cruise, descent, approach) and at different altitudes. It is not caused by accidental input. In many cases the disconnect occurs when I’m not even at my desk, so there’s no chance of an in…

  14. Hello, I like the A343 very much. Today I tried to use it with beyondATC. I've encountered the problem that I can't request WX: If I enter an ICAO code and send the request nothing happens. Also the WX on the EFB flight overview page can't be updated.

  15. Hello all. I have recently got MSFS24 and along with it the A340 that I bought on the weekend sale. So far have been doing traffic patterns and general handflying to get used to it. Great so far. For some reason my Simbrief wont play nice. I have a unlimited account with Navigraph. Any help?

  16. Started by simmerluke,

Could someone please explain how to release the autobraking at the end of the landing roll. In most other payware aircraft I repeatedly tap the brakes (bound to a button on my joystick) to release them and roll to a nice slow speed, however this doesn't seem to work in the A340. Also, not sure if it is related but on pressing the brakes during a taxi to slow down a little, I'm struggling not to get the aeroplane to stop dead. There seems to be a very fine line between slowing down and coming to a complete halt. Thanks!

Hello, I am having an Issue with the Inibuilds A340 IRS initalization. After a cold & dark startup, as soon as I switch on BAT and External Power, the MCDU already shows "Aircraft Position Invalid" This happens before I align the IRS or interact with the MCDU in any way. The IRS Init page never shows "SET IRS POS" and alignment is not possible. Because of this, LNAV probably doesnt work: The ND displays the aircraft position, airport and route correctly and the programmed route is shown normally on the ND. However, the aircraft does not follow the route and pulling or pushing the HDK/TRK knob does not engage Navigation. Other aircraft (e.g. Fenix)…

  18. During the FMGS preparation, using the attached OFP, when i got into the INIT B page I noticed that the ALTN fuel value was much bigger than the one on the OFP so, I tried to change that value but I didn´t work. Moving to the second option, i decided to change the MIN DEST FOB value which worked however the EXTRA/TIME field didn´t reflect that. In the images I attached you can see that my predicted landing fuel is 17,2t which gives me a 0,9t extra using the value insert at MIN DEST FOB (16,3t) as reference but the EXTRA/TIME does not reflect that. That said, i have two questions: 1 - Since the ALTN field on the INIT B/FUEL PRED page is blue, wasn´t I supposed to be a…

  19. I like inibuild´s A340, but I think, the following issue is not realistic: Configuration: ZFW 172 to, Fuel 85 to, Cost Index 200 Starting with MTOW the airplane accelerates not to 250 kts, but to the green dot speed of 269 kts. Reaching the first flight level 320, the managed cruise speed is .805 Mach (at CI 200?). At Opt FL 320 / Rec Max FL 348 I climb to FL 330. During the climb phase the airplane accelerates to Mach .82. Reaching cruise FL 330 the managed speed falls to Mach .799. The Rec Max FL jumps to 354. At Opt FL 330 / Rec Max FL 361 I climb to FL 340. Again, during the climb phase the airplane accelerates to Mach .82. Reaching cruise FL 340 t…

  20. Hello all, I noticed that switching the north ref to "true" doesn´t effect the DDRMI (right next to the button). However, as seen below, the switching seems to affect the DDRMI in the real aircraft. The displayed courses slighty move in the same way as they do on the ND. Would be great to have that effect added 🙂

  21. Hello. Today I updated my 340 from markeplace like always and again, all my previously saved costum panel states were missing. This happens after almost every update. Please fix it!

  22. Hi I use inibuilds A340 for MS2024 and GSX Pro for MS2024. Both are updated. I use the EFB to prepare a flightplan wih simbrief. I make sure taht GSX also has the simbrief flightplan loaded. In the Payload & Fueling page of the EFB, I cllick on Import all from simbrief, make sure that fuel and payloard are populated in PLAN and then click Load with GSX. GSX starts with refueling, auto-updating LIVE fueling gradually to match PLAN fuel. But after the fuel truck goes, nothing more happens. No loading of passenger/cargo. My GSX options in the EFB are: Integration ON / Notifications ON / Auto import Simbrief ON GPU connection AUTO / Cho…

  23. Hello team, during my past few flights I have consistently got the Flaps not in takeoff config warning after I've landed. Throttle is at idle/in reverse in those scenario. May I know how the warning is triggered in your simulation? Video attached as reference, thank you! Landing at 10:46 https://youtu.be/sAayNOi76sA
