Hi - first post here, so please be gentle! So, I purchased the recently released A300 at the weekend and am having a number of issues whilst (trying) to operate it. Key amongst these are: - Crash to desktop when loading into a flight (every time unless I load a different aircraft beforehand then return to the menu to select the A300). - AP disconnects randomly, and often can't be re-engaged. - The buttons, dials and switches animate incredibly slowly when interacted with - other aircraft (including study level 3rd party purchases) don't exhibit this. - Flight plan is often (very often to be fair) followed for a few minutes, then veers away from th…

I only fly FedEx cargo version, i just noticed in crew area the coffee machine is highlighted in a pink box, wondering how to eliminate this Dave

Can you be so kind to modify the Left and Right views (POV L & POV R in the joystick) to actual LEFT and RIGHT views as at present using those commands in the freighter version will get you Rear Left and Rear Right (over the shoulder views). This is a small fix that has already been corrected in the pax version but remains unfixed the freighter version since v1.03. These viewpoints are necessary when flying online and entering the runway to make sure there's no other traffic on final or on the runway. Thank you. Christian C./

Thank you very much for fixing the reverse thrust binding. I do however still have a small problem: I use throttle1_cut and throttle2_cut to stow the reversers and reset the thrust levers back to idle. Since a couple of versions, throttle2_cut sets the thrust back to 50% instead of idle. This is how it looks after firing both events: As you can see, throttle 1 cut works apart from the NaN display bug. Could you please make throttle2_cut set the thrust back to 0%? Using throttle_cut is a workaround until this issue is fixed, it correctly sets both levers to idle.

In both aircraft.cfg files, there is a typo in the following line: icao_manufacturer ="Aibus"

I've noticed in some videos that some people have inHg on their EFB takeoff performance page, while I cannot get it to change from HPA to inHG via the Settings screen. Is this issue still being investigated?

Are there plans to add a web based MCDU to the aircraft? If we can have both MCDU's it would be great. Thanks

In the passenger section for the A30F on Simbrief, the options are Auto, None, and Full (0). Why does that last option say Zero for a full load?

Hi Inibuilds, i just recognized the A300 has the same camera angles like the current A310. These are slighly tilted downwards. I openend a topic last year in the A310 thread where you said there will come a fix for those. My question: is this on purpose the angle for wide angle looks like it does? I attached one of the current and one of the „old/more upright“ (and in my opinion more natural) angle. Thanks in advance, Maverick✈️

Curious if the maintenance mode / wear and tear is livery specific, or specific to PAX and freight models, or is it the same on all iveries and models? For example, if the fluid levels / tire wear, etc are at a specific level on my American PAX model, will it vary depending on use from other PAX liveries or freighter models or is it constant across the board on all liveries / models?

Hi! Anyone knows, why there is a discrepancy between the simbreif TRP fuel and the calculated FMS TRP fuel. The difference ist most of the time about 1t. The used fuel at the end of the flight ist how calculated with simbrief; only at programming there is this big difference. Winds, flightlevel and so on is programmed correctly. I use the INI simbrief profile and I fligh the A300-600F.

I am just setting up AAO with the A300 and would like to assign a Neutral Landing Gear position command to my controller, but I'm not seeing anything. Is that possible?

What are the LVARs for pitch trim, specifically the ones for the switches on the pilot's yoke?

Currently, the EFB departure and arrival times do not match when the player departed and is scheduled to arrive.

If I load the passenger version with a livery the sim crashes straight to desktop. If I choose the default inibuilds livery this doesn’t happen and the plane loads normal. Seems to be a bug with the liveries? Really love the plane, great job!

When using Navigraph, the plane's marker is not showing up on the approach plates on the EFB.

Hello all. I'm having an issue with a flight from KCLT to KICT. I import the simbrief flight plan into the FMS. I turn the selector on the MCP to select Plan to make sure I have a good viable flight plan. Every thing on the flight plan checks out with the exception when I get to my destination airport's runway which in this case was 1L at KICT. Unlike my previous flight plans at other airports the path into the runway is always in line with the runway. However at KICT the path into runway 1L does not directly line up. Hello. Does anyone else have fps drop when flying to/from larger airports like JFK, LAX etc? I get less then 30 fps at JFK with no traffic active or ground vehicles. I have tried various settings but i cant get it better. When I fly the pmdg 737 i have no issues, fps over 45. I have also tried the optimized texture pack with no improvement. I am using amd 7900x, ddr5 64gb mem, rtx 4080 super so I dont think that is the problem.

Hi, can 3rd party painters sell A300 liveries at the marketplace?

The click spot for the parking brake interferes with being able to swap radio frequencies, when the brakes are set. Would be nice to see this improved. 🙂

Hello there it seems that the ground friction (or whatever) changed since the earlier version of the A300. It feels like I need much more thrust for taxiing even with lower weights. Given that we have a rather overpowered aircraft that seems improper. Can you confirm that something changed here and will it stay that way? Thanks for your answer. Flo
