  1. Started by Caribflyer,

In addition to the current Autopilot/Flight Director Panel, I would like to suggest an option to use the analog version as seen in this photo. It was very common to see this panel on the L1011.

  2. Hi there, when the L1011 was released I already asked for modeling the tape engine gauges. Could those be modeled as part of the operations pack? I would pay for it. Thank you.

  3. It would be great to see the Litton 92 navigator added as an option as part of the Operations Pack. I'm sure you'll be aware this was the navigation system equipping RAF TriStars: https://www.airliners.net/photo/UK-Air-Force/Lockheed-L-1011-385-3-TriStar-C2-500/2325506/L?qsp=eJwljEEOgkAQBP/SZy7ESHRv4gP04AcmsyNsgu5mdg4Qwt8d4Vap7tQKzl%2BT2V5LEQRUIeURDQopfSrCCkrKSm/rqSY%2Bbpf2evbLmC3fyWTIuiB0DWpW6x0R3d6YpZhEHP6hUfQ/SeW9P3iodRB97oxT5z6mWibaG2KUJmzbDxrsNs4%3D It would be fantastic to have a realistic option that provides a more accurate navigation solution for VATSIM (with the option for triple-mix, automatic DME-DME updating and GPS-update) without having to opt for the GNS-5…

Hi, Myself as many others have a big heart for the L1011! I really do hope you consider strongly to do 100/200 models to! I am gladly willing to pay for such a expension to. They had alot more operators than the Great -500.. Also with some very cool feutures as a inbuilt stair for main cabin. Please, i really hope to see this, the legacy of L1011 deserve it!

  5. Guys, you put some glass and reflections on the engineer panels steam gauges .. but not on the main instrument panels steam gauges, that's very unrealistic. In my 65 years Ive poked my head into the flight deck of a lot of older commercial jets, and the Tristar DEFINATEY has reflective glass gauge faces. I also just bought your A300 for 2024 and its the same situation. Most of the other big devs add reflective glass over their gauges .. and it adds a lot to the realism and immersion.

  6. As good as the current INS is, it's very limiting in today's RNAV environment. Since MSFS 2024 already includes the UNS-1 as a sim attachment, it would be great to have it as an option for the L-1011! This would allow us to fly modern RNAV procedures without having to rely on the GNS 430, while still preserving the classic feel of this airplane.

  7. Started by Squatchpilot,

Just curious, as the L1011 is by far my favorite inibuilds bird…but, why the lack of maintenance features like the A350 and A310? Tires don’t wear (Awsome features btw), no hydraulic service etc. is this planned in future updates? I know you can “service” the engines, but will we ever get the tire and brake wear? Really REALLY hope this is present on the 380 whenever it’s released!

  8. Started by Prof_Plumpy,

Everything on the plane uses degrees C, except for the cabin temp which is degrees F. Since everything else (including the air feeding the cabin) is in Celsius, could we get the cabin temp changed too please?

  9. I think that regardless of whether you import the waypoints including SIDs/STARs or without that, when you import waypoints into the INS from the PFB, that the last waypoint loaded should always be the destination airport and not the final waypoint in the flight plan. Once you hit that waypoint there is still valuable information to be gained from the distance and time to the destination that are displayed, and I am quite certain that all crews of L1011s fitted with INSes would have done the same. You can do it yourself manually, of course, but then that defeats the purpose of using the autoimport.

  10. Hi iniBuilds team, Could you consider adding scroll acceleration to the L-1011 TriStar cockpit knobs? Especially the AP control panel (Not sure what its called, FCU?) At the moment, using the mouse wheel can feel quite tedious because each scroll input only changes the value slightly (500FT for altitude on the legacy mode). This is especially noticeable when adjusting knobs that require larger changes, such as altitude, heading, radios, or brightness controls. (Increments are in single digits for the knobs, extremely annoying to tune for new HDG/CRS) Scroll acceleration would make these adjustments much smoother and less repetitive while still keeping fine control possibl…

  11. Started by Bunkie,

Hi all, What do we need to do in order to have the crew displayed in the cockpit. I've been flying this model exclusively for the last week (loving every moment of it) but haven't found a way to get anybody showing up. From the external view it looks like a ghost plane... As a suggestion - how about adding a flight engineer avatar to the 3rd seat. Doesn't have to be animated, and in a perfect world they'd be selectable as on/off so those who like doing the FE role don't have to worry about it getting in the way... ? Just a thought. Bunkie

  12. Hello, Right now the PFB only seem to import waypoints into INS1. Could it send the flight plan to all 3 INS ?

Hello folks, Any chance to get this Air France C-FTNA livery which was an AF leased Aircraft from Air Transat between 89 to 91 Thanks 😁🙏

  14. Are we able to add a load button and timeframes in the PFB? Example, Instant, 5mins, 10mins and Realistic. The simbrief import would just load info from simbreif into the loadsheet and the an additional button like "start loading" would start loading the aircraft at a a selected rate, to allow time to do preping for the flight. At the moment, using the sliders or clicking import loads the aircraft instantly.

  16. We're on update 1.0.5 and looking at the manual download it still shows version 1.0, while I know you've added some new features in recent releases. Please make sure you're also going back and updating your manual to include procedures, etc., for those new features.

  17. Hello all, Could you create a FAQ page to list the keybinds that works on the Tristar? Fir example I am unable to find which one works for AP disconnection. I also understand that the spoiler arm bind works differently from other aircraft. Would be nice to have a FAQ clarifying all that. Thanks !

  19. Can you add the ability to set the thrust levers in the Toga and Climb positions using the screws on the panel? It's extremely inconvenient to set the calculated engine thrust if you don't have levers.

  20. Started by MD82,

For the purists who do not want an aircraft icon constantly telling us where we are, can we make the own position symbol toggleable just like on the approach charts? It MAY already be there, but I remember this from 1.0.2. And might still be so.

Please make an options or solution to have much more fast rotary controller for GW in the FE panel, cause it takes almost 150sec to set it as now in kg and much more than 300sec in LBS, thanks

  22. Hello, To increase immersion, I was wondering if we could have an "auto" mode where flight engineer autocomplete checklists are automatically started after a set of user actions. For example here are some ideas: Engine Start: park brake OFF+Beacon light ON+5 seconds After Start: All 3x engines running + 20 seconds Line Up: Strobe lights + LDG lights on Climb: RA above 1500ft AGL Descent: within 150nm of destination, negative V/S, and selected ALT lower than current

  23. Perhaps I am missing something, but I cannot figure out how to click the DLC arm button on top of the spoiler without moving the camera all the way down in front of it and rotating it so I can see it. I am sure it was very easy for the captain to reach down and press it (though I do find myself wondering at the wisdom of having the lights being on the forward end of the spoiler vs elsewhere, I guess he had to stick his hand in front of it to see if the lights were on?) Can a clickspot be added on a screw somewhere or something similar to arm DLC, please?

  24. Started by Mantock,

Hi folks, I have found that even with the performance mode switched on in the paper tablet, that the Tristar keeps throwing up numerous 'Graphics card out of memory' notices when I get close to my payware scenery, or when switching views in the cockpit. Now, I'm not a new user, I've been at this game many a year by this point so I understand the constraints of flight simulation. But at the same time, I fly the PMDG 777/737 and the Fenix A320, and NONE of these EVER throw up graphics card vram limitation notices. Like.......ever. I was wondering if the devs could throw some light on potential performance increases for this bird that migh…

  25. Could the performance data card be duplicated on the captains side of the instrument panel. In VR, this would make seeing all the different airspeeds from the card much easier. Thanks
