Hi any chance the PFB can have a night mode it’s way too bright especially in VR even on the lowest brightness. Hope you will consider the more popular L1011-200 as I am really enjoying this bird !

When we turn on the anti-icing systems in the Tristar, could we have the corresponding areas of the airframe that those systems are linked to, have their layer of ice disappear while that system is engaged?

Suggestions. I would say back to the drawingboard with this one. first the good : The Tristar looks and sounds insane. To do the walk around is an adventure by itself. The cockpit looks stunning also. the things that could go better Sounds: An old steam gauge cockpit like this one ( and I have 747-200 time up the kazoo) . Comes alive with the ratle and clicks of the old rolodex gauges the moment you move the throttles. the brake sounds ( humming) and sometimes sounding like an old steam loco. now these are all just cosmetics. the real problem i have is with the F-104 style climb performance. The whole performance model s…

Any chance of an option for the PMS GTN in place of the moving map screen?

  5. The aerobridge seems to be recognising the lower deck boarding stairs door instead of one of the main deck doors.

  6. Hello, At the moment the Paper Flight Bag and the perf card are emitting light, like a tablet would. Barely noticeable by day but looks out of place by night. See the difference between the "flaps 33" table chart (blends naturally with cockpit lightning) and the landing speed card (weirdly bright) below: Could this emissive light be disabled ? And instead we rely on the beautiful night lightning of this addon to read the PFB and card ?

  7. Hello ini-team! Let me start by saying congratulations on a very successful release of the beautiful Tristar! One suggestion if I may suggest is an option to have the FE manage throttles during takeoff and when reducing to climb thrust. Unless there is a way that I am simply not aware of?

Are we able to look at an option to allow the sun visor(s) to be moved upward or stowed away instead of being always in view? I have not found anything where there is an option to do so.

  9. Hey team, is there any chance you could add the Flight Engineer voice to call out 40, 30, 20 and 10 from the Radio Altimeter as well as the 100 and 50ft callouts currently included?

  10. Attached here is a custom mad GSX profile. It fixes the various Door positions, Refueling, Lavatory, and GPU points. It also uses the "Custom refuel system" - meaning that on loading the L-1011, set fuel to a low values, like 10% in the PFB, then call the Fuel truck. When the Fuel truck arrives and ask You to set Fuel qty, enter the required qty in the PFB. gsx.cfg

  11. When flying in VR, the map display screen is partially blocked by the reverser handles of the throttle levers while in flight. There is a spacer on the top of the map display. Could this spacer be put to the bottom of the map allowing the map to move up in the pedestal. Thanks

PFB performance calculator is good but seemingly does not factor in the runway and therefore the weather. Can this be added, presumably it formed part of the real world calculation?

  14. For the purists amongst us, who like to insert each and every waypoint manually into the INS ( just as real flight crews did ) it would be of great benefit if there would be an option to manually number the Waypoints on the OFP. This would aid in assigning the Waypoints to their slot-numbers in the INS. For instance such as a manually placeable circled number next to the waypoints on the OFP ( like selectable „stickers“ numbered from 1 to 9 ). Best regards

I wish to suggest that on AFE APU start, the AFE turns on the bleed air after APU startup. Perhaps also set the bleed and pack switches to provide air conditioning to the cabin, as well as set APU gen field, breakers and bus ties. Currently from what I have seen, this AFE function merely turns on the APU. Unless I’m missing something, following solely the AFE through to engine start results in zero pneumatic pressure for the start unless additional manual setup is done to ensure the isolation valves and pack switches are set.

I'd really like to see the time compression feature found in the A300, A350 etc added to the L1011. A much needed feature on longer flights.

IMHO I believe this was not the 500 but without a doubt the rollout livery was a work of art. Did you have any plans on doing it? Thanks in advance

  18. As the title says, I thought it strange that the APU is left on if you are following the AI flight engineer flows in the paper tablet. Because the APU panel is right in front of his face I just assumed that as part of the flow he would turn it off once all power was drawing from the engines, I accidentally left the APU on for most of my first flight and barely had the fuel to make my destination, landed with an engine out.

  19. Hi there, I already mentioned this in the general forum. I am a L1011 TriStar enthusiast and would love to see an important option to the avionics, the Tape Engine Gauges. This airline option was used by several airlines and was independent from production year and version. They were installed at ATA, Eastern Airlines, LTU, TWA, Saudia and some more. It should be possible to fly a livery with authentic avionics. For instance, LTU and Eastern never bought L1011-500 with roundes gauges. I can provide AOM pages from a Saudia manual if you need reference details to model them. I hope you take this into consideration. Would appreciate that.

  20. Dear Inibuilds I'm thrilled for your new Tristar. The model seems excellent, the pricing is reasonable and I'm very eager to give you my money. However, so far I can't do so because you haven't publicly stated your policy regarding licensing, despite multiple people asking multiple times. I asked twice (https://forum.inibuilds.com/topic/33781-a340-marketplaceinbuilds-store-question/#findComment-87599) in the same place that A340 owners were told they would be able to transfer their licenses from the marketplace to the Inibuilds store at no cost, but nobody has yet replied. Another user asked too, and IniJamir closed the question as "solved" but again, didn't actu…

Considering Pan Am purchased 12 factory new -500 with the active ailerons (ACS) and digital AP and was the largest operator for a while, they outfitted the -500 with two INS and Omega (ONS) in the center pedestal (Canadian Marconi, CMA‑740 Omega/VLF) to constantly feed the INS to correct for drift. Any chance of considering implementing a ONS, like Black Square did with the Starship?

I’d love to see an operative EFDARS panel. Don’t need all of the functions, but enough to be able to go in and complete the normal preflight items would be satisfactory. It’s the little things like this that add to the immersion.

With the decision to only make this Marketplace exclusive for an unknown period of time, for those that prefer to have their products outside of there - can you confirm it will be possible to transfer the product to the iniManager at a later date once available in that channel? Alternatively, are you able to give a ballpark delay timescale on it reaching the iniManager as I'm sure there are many who would prefer not to go down the MP route...

  24. Dear INI-Team, Many thanks and congratulations for this remarkable release. In my first flights, I noticed, that all engine parameters between ENG 1/2/3 are the same. No difference in EGT, Oil PX, VIBs etc. From other INI products, like the 340/350, we know that INI also implements dynamic engine parameters. Since the L1011 without modern FADEC/EEC has even more differences, it would be a great contribution to immersion and add realistic workload for the FE to balance the engines. Can I we expect that in the future? Many thanks and regards.

For those of us that do not like or use the Microsoft Market place, shame will not be able to purchase the TriStart. Why not have it available on bot h locations, Market place and iniManager ?
