  1. Yeah +16 degrees at 36,000 feet (or whatever) would be absurd, it can’t calculate anything with that number.
  2. You do NOT need to fly in LOC mode before ILS. When you're intercepting the localizer you just use ILS (or APP in different aircraft). I have no idea why so many people do this, the only time you'd use it is if the G/S is not working.
  3. Yes it does need the AP. Says AP must be on in CMD and VNAV selected.
  4. Not sure that helps my brain haha.. I'm still confused about when to go Tank to Engine.
  5. Yeah that would be ridiculous if you had to align them after engine start.
  6. I get the same thing, just FYI
  7. i see I already mentioned this haha
  8. Works for me, both NAV radios tuned to the ILS, and intercepting from underneath the GS seems to do it. Maybe you're out of the engagement envelope?
  9. I like the added smoke on startup, but it should only happen once fuel is introduced, not on the starter motor.
  10. Yeah, because you don't fly ILS approaches like that IRL. Once you're cleared the approach, you just put it in ILS mode. There's no need to put it in LOC before, it's redundant.

At cruise at FL350, fuel tank temp is at SAT, not TAT. Fuel doesn't cool below the temperature of the airframe, and it takes hours to cool to that as well. My fuel tank temp is -60 ATM.
  12. Honestly, probably more realistic this way. Two separate sets of data give two results. The airpseed indicators would rarely be exactly the same.
  13. Fantastic, I appreciate all the responses the team has been giving over the last few days. Wonderful aircraft, you should all be proud of this.
  14. Is a little over-the-top? Why differ the ability from the A340, where it was really well done? The brown dirt all over the airplane, really?
