Heya! Normally you don´t have to be fully established even. After arming LAND mode you should be able to turn on the second AP. Did you enter the ILS frequency in the pedestal and switch the Mode Selector Switch on the FCU to ILS?

Gary was mostly correct, but let me add to his 🙂 2) Landing Gear Lever must be in Off or Down position for autobreak to work 4) Profile mode is a very rudimentary VNAV mode, but the plane is old so it doesn´t always work the best. This was/is the same in real life. Most airlines didn´t even use profile mode for that reason. I recomment you to watch our new or returning to airlines series on youtube. I have seen plenty of other temperatures or TOGA takeoff calculations from the EFB. Most of the times the A310 wont be Runway limited, so Flex 59 will be the most common one you see
