Hello, I'm a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer qualified on the A300/A310 and would like to provide some input. I see the following on the v1.0.2 update list: v1.0.2 Art Fixes/Changes Fixed - HP VALVE should illuminate red during fire test The HP VALVE switch has to be in the ON position to illuminate the red lights during a fire loop test. With the HP VALVE switch in the OFF position, the red lights will not illuminate during a fire loop test. Also the entire HP VALVE switch face illuminates red and not just the text. Regards, John (A300/A310 Mechanic)

I suggest Window shades... on all flight deck windows... I really use them... And there is this nice detail on operating the cargo door on a internal panel.. But what about in the passenger version if you could Arm/disarm and pull the handle to open a door? What pleases me is the flight dynamics.. it not just like a rubberband when you push the elevator and e.g. releases it. The plane just don't wobble back. Not that I am a pilot and claim to know... It feels real.. Happy New Year. Julean

Hello, Lately I have been having trouble with the lines drawn for the approach. This happens at LWSK [Skopje]. Everytime I choose the approach it draws some strange lines between two waypoints and makes you fly around mountains with a low flight level. That lead you to directly crashing into the mountains.

Hello iniBuilds team, could you consider changing the default pilot view slightly? In my opinion the head position could be a little higher and tilted downwards a few degrees. For example like this? ND and PFD are horizontally centered and fully visible. You can still see the engines indications of engine no. 1. All other important indicators are visible as well. While taxiing you get a slightly better view on the taxiway lines. Compared to other aircraft add-ons the default views on the A300 (as well as A310) feel a bit strange - for example the zoomed IAS indicator. A view on the MCDU, tablet etc. would be nice and more important during the busy …

Love the work so far! Great plane, love to fly it. I've sent this to PMDG and Fenix as well as no one seems to have this correct. This is a great example of a large turbine start up: I am a turbine engineer and IRL the "base" sounding acoustics on start are loud - very loud as in low frequency vibrations. This tapers out as combustion evens out and the engine reaches idle. Again in high power settings the "vibrations" return. Also listen to the air pushing through the air starter, you cannot hear the APU anymore.

First Thanks for this A306 impossible to make a second flight by changing the fpln with Simbrief after taking off. FMCDU: impossible to enter data on page 2 (INIT) BLK FUEL / ZFW / MACZFW only the flight plan matters - not the data. So vnav inop. thank you

Since it is possible to overtemp the engines in the INI A300, as part of your maintenance features, it would be nice if the 'MAX POINTER RESET' button on the maintenance panel was operable to reset them back to the red lines.

Now that we have a cargo bird capable of long flights, it would be very much appreciated if you'd remove the block on fuel loading with engines running in the EFB so that we can change the fuel load inflight--it's a common technique to takeoff heavy, then after reaching cruise, teleport the jet to a point closer to the destination and then reset the fuel load to what would be appropriate at that point in the flight.

Hi. I've noticed that the fuel used display for each engine has a decimal point on the segment display behind the placarded(?) decimal point, which I think is a mistake. If I remember correctly this is also in the 310, and if you run an engine to 20 tonnes of fuel used the "2" will be chopped off on the left, presumably because it is being pushed over off the display by the decimal place. I've used this video to double check, and the decimal place in the digital segment display doesn't exist: Also seeing all the engine instruments momentarily zeroing out when the AC bus switches to the engine generator is interesting... Anyway, below is the FU di…

Hi, as the title says, would be nice to hear callouts. V1, VR, Positive Rate would be the basic ones but if you implement this and have room for more, I would also suggest flaps callouts, gear "up and locked" and "down 3 green", "reverse lights out", "spoilers out", "reverse lights out"... 🙂 cheers,

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't the A300-600 cockpit have window shades as seen in the link blow? https://www.planespotters.net/photo/1427300/hl7239-korean-air-airbus-a300b4-622r It would be nice to have this included

hello guys, First thank for the great work you did on the a300, one can imagine how great the a350 and a380 are going to be! I have one Suggestion: I think for me as a working parent it is not always possible to do a flight all at once. So it would be greatly appreciate if you would implement Panel State saving possibilities to save flight, for instance via volanta autosave! Would be absolutely necessary for the upcoming A350! p.s or is there a way I am not seeing? Thank you very much! Kind regards from Austria, Daniel

I think this would be a neat addition to come with the paid EPIC mod expansion. This would make AAL ops much more realistic. I attached a photo of an AAL 757/767 mechanical checklist for close-up modeling/texturing reference, and then the AAL A300 FCOM reference for A300 specific mechanical checklist items. For the operation of it, I will attach this video I found of one in the 737. It works the same way.

I would appreciate if you make it possible that loading fuel and weight would be accepted to import from simbrief when starting on the runway, even if it’s not realistic.

Hi, have a few issues with VNAV. Example here flying the INREX 4L into ENGM. As you can see, you should cross GM457 below FL120, while as you can see by the other fixes after that, it plans to be higher. I changed it to level change and deployed speedbrakes to go below profile to meet the altitude restrictions. Next is GM401 which should be crossed at FL090, while again you can see it won't reach it. See snippet from chart below. In other words, you should be level at FL090 between GM401 and GM454, but it looks like the VNAV calculates to only reach FL090 at GM454.

Hi Inibuilds, Both pilots seem to be sitting too high on the seats or their scale is off unless they are extremely tall but as both have their heads well above the head rest of their seats. I have included some reference pictures copyrights to the picture owners.

I've noticed that when the planswithces to mach numbers the LVAR for the speed dial doesn't match what's displayed in the plane anymore. In the attached picture you can see that the selected speed is Mach 0.76 and the LVAR is showing 0.7476.... which makes setting up an autopilot panel a bit tricky. Because if I just round the LVAR it'll give me the 0.75 in this case on my end and so forth. It will be accurate for some speeds but far from all. It's a quality of life thing, not the end of the world but great if someone could take a look at it. Great plane btw.

Hey 🙂 On night flights, even when brightness is turned down in the EFB, the checklist is still to bright. Is it possible to do an option for dark checklist?

Now as many are aware of the sim crashing and freezing up during flight rather it’s during the upload or mid flight. After doing some more research there are some reports see link (https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/freezing-in-mid-flight/551976) of possible GPU drivers being the main reason. I’d suggest rolling back drivers a few cycles back, lowering your settings for the sim and ensuring your loading add on program’s individual once you’ve loaded your sim at the departure airport. Not guaranteed it will work but it is worth a shot. Hence, we know that the sim is not 100% accurate and flawless as anticipated. As far as the add-on goes understand coding takes…

I've been trying to find a repaint request thread but cant seem to find one but i'll just post it under here. I've noticed for the xplane 12 there's a lot of repaints for the a300-600 but are not listed on the msfs any plans if they would be converted? Also if any repainters are out there are and interested, Im looking for any A300 liveries for the Singapore Airlines, China Airlines and Malaysia Airlines.
