The option to remove the cowling is not available at this time as people were complaining about seeing the engine in the hangar / multiplayer. We are looking into bringing the option back in the future.
I tried to recreate this and am only 65NM away from 4440N (so already overflew 4130N by like 400NM. No crashes here.
Could you please try with an empty community folder?
Look, I'm just a community manager, I can't promise you if the scenery people will revisit this area at some point.
So rather than get your hopes up, I give you a conservative statement.

I'm afraid this currently is indeed as good as it gets. We might revisit this area in a future patch, but I unfortunately can't promise that. Tunnels especially are very hard to accurately model in the sim.
Could you please open up new threads in their respective forums with screenshots where exactly this is happening? Then we can looking into fixing those 🙂

After some testing, I can confirm this behaviour. The level of detail in the terminals is the expected one with the option ticked off - most of the removed things here are in the TWA building.
The interior not loading in at the beginning is a bug and should get fixed in the next patch or so 🙂

There is an option in the EFB called "Reverser on same axis", did you try to change that one to whatever you haven't selected and see if it works then?
