Hey, just got the plane from MSFS Marketplace and I absolutely love it, but I'm seeing unacceptably bad performance when trying to fly the plane or even taxi it. Preface: I play on 1920x1080 @ 60 Hz with V-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium so my stable framerate is at 60 FPS. So, first off there's a real big problem. Whenever I start from a parking spot, have done the checklists and started her up to begin taxiing to the runway, my framerate starts to gradually decrease the further I taxi from the parking spot, and by the time I'm at the runway the framerate will plummet all the way down to 2 FPS (By this time the plane is already uncontrollable and the whole sim ha…

I originally purchased the P-40 through the Market Place. Then after deciding that would rather have the P-40 with guns instead of nubs, I bought the real version through Simmarket. What I'm running into, is even after deleting every reference I can find in the MSFS install to the MSMP version of the P-40, and then installing the Simmarket version, there still aren't any guns. Am I missing something or is that just the way it is? 🙂 Thanks FAC257

Hi guys, I love the P-40! I bought the marketplace version. My tablet does not allow me to remove the cowlings to expose the engine. I cannot get a drop tank. Is this normal for the marketplace version or do I maybe have a problem on my end?

Hi, I purchased the P-40F today from the Xbox marketplace and I'm using it on a Series X. I thought I'd try it out selecting a direct from runway departure. When I select full throttle with my T.Flight Hotas One, the animation shows the throttle moving as expected, but it then simply cuts out despite me keeping the throttle level forward. When I try and reapply throttle, the same behaviour is repeated and the animation shows the throttle moving back of its own accord and fluttering not in accordance with the throttle inputs. Hello all! new to the forums not new to the P-40 as a real world aircraft as it has been one of two favorite planes of mine since childhood. We have one here at the Museum of Flight and I drool on it every time I see it😆 Anyway I just picked up the P-40F and I think it’s beautiful.BUT I have noticed a couple of things with flight and mechanical dynamics I was wondering about. I am going over all of the systems in the aircraft and I have tried with assistance on and off, I normally fly off. I have noticed a slower speed than the public documentation for the aircraft from Curtiss. I have gone through all of the test elevation and weight envelopes. I have not…

Just wondering that exactly. I know the Market can't have guns modeled. Is there anything else? The market is much less expensive which is unusual.

Hey inibuilds. First of all, thanks for your fantastic plane you've created. I love flying it. There was allready a topic because of performance in VR (from jamie13) but it got closed so i have to open a new one. I have some issues with the P-40 i want to let you know about. I'm using the Valve Index and have similar issues with performance. I only get about 8 to 10 fps in VR with the P-40. Other aircrafts (like 737-700, CRJ 550/700, DC-6) work great and have no performance issues. Without VR the framerate is ok. Also when i start from the airfield the plane always turns to the left and even i use full right rudder i can't hold it on course. I'm …

I bought it on simmarket, but I haven't seen the update file for version 1.04 until today.

Nice work on the update - much less twitchy, the prop looks much better, the sound is even better! Big improvement. A couple of small things I've noticed - The keyboard on the EFB is missing the number 2. And my cockpit quickviews are messed up, but just for this plane. Everything is set properly in the controls dialog box, but when I move my hat switch to look right, it looks left, and when I move it to look left, it looks to the left and back. Works fine in all other planes. Is it just something in my setup??? Thanks, keep up the great work!

After update aircraft spawns with no engine cowlings and unable to power on EFB. No drop tank mentioned in Weights. Fabulous model though.

Good job on the Warhawk, at it's price point it is of much higher quality than I expected. However, I am having 2 specific issues while flying it. First, it seems to heavily hit my performance, and I wonder if anyone else is experiencing that. Heat blur possibly? Secondly, it seems to hold its speed relative to throttle input much longer than what is plausible. It will hang above 200mph for an eternity at idle.

The new 1.0.2 patch fixes most of the previously reported issues, and the plane is much more stable. The new exhaust effects are also great and the flight is a very enjoyable experience. I am impressed with the speed of the iniBuilds fix and the continued improvements to WarHawk. There are still two small issues. 1. VR Zoom seems to have not been repaired, the same will go through the dashboard. 2. The new patch fixes the problem of exhaust blurring the front view, but in general from the VR view out, the front view, especially the side view is still blurred, but seems to be a little better than the previous version, I do not know whether the glass material…

When the nose is pressed down at a certain angle (about more than 20 degrees), the tail of the aircraft will instantly flip forward. There are many WWII aircraft in the Microsoft flight simulator that do not exhibit similar behavior, including the P-40 in IL-2.

When I look at the dashboard in VR and use the VR ZOOM function. I will look through the dashboard and see the engine.

Is there a manual for the P-40F ? If so, where do I find it ? Thanks,
