I'm maybe wrong but I doesn't seems that opening engine and wing anti-ice have any effect on engines/performance. When you open those anti-icing system you are taking very hot air from some turbine stages, thus loosing thrust. Would be great to have that simulated as well...

Sorry, just meant to reply to the post that was closed before I was able to reply. Well, it is quite important. In the real world, on some airliners, if you don't verify that ground air conditionning is disconnected (or at least shut down) then you might end up blowing some hoses or even packs if you open the APU bleed air. Too much pressure and you're screwed. In my plane, you will blow air hose at the packs for sure... Would be cool to simulate that (ground air and blowing hose/pack) 🙂 Just my 2 cents

Just gave it a try, on my side both ADF are working fine. Be sure to check that the light toward the ADF frequencey is light (I mean check that you switch the freq. side to the correct ADF). Then below the EVSI the needles are working just fine.

Sounds like it, check your key/axis assignements in MSFS

I confirm too. Increasing the dead zone just postponed the problem, but it still occur...

Hey y'all, We have the ASU which is a great option when we have the APU MEL. However, it would be great to have ground air for air conditionning as well. In real life, airliners are connected to ground air cond very often (actually ASU start doesn't happen very often, only when we cannot use APU).

My 2 cents, For the DME issue: not all ILS/VOR are DME equipped, that's maybe why. On my side not DME problem at all. As for the 1000ft descent: if you arm P.DES (pushing ALT knob down) it will arm the descent profile and should start descending as expected at TOD. Also, if too low on profile somewhere in the descent (due to constraint or else), it will change to a 1000ft ROD until it capture the normal profile. Work fine on my side too.

Do you have the ASU connected? GPU is only for electricity ASU is only for bleed air for engine start APU provide both + bleed air for air conditionning (ASU does not) I just gave it a try and ground bleed air start work fine on my side (either starting N°1 or N°2 first, both are fine).

Do you press the cheat TOGA button on far left side of the glareshield on takeoff? The one that is left of AUTO LAND button.

Happened to me as well depsarting Rovaniemi EFRO. It is ice clogged pitot tubes. Shouldn't happened when all pitot heaters ON. It's a bug and I believe they are investigating. One thing interesting though, on my Honeycomb throttle quadrant I have always the ANTI-ICE warning ON (which is linked to pitot heat). Even with all pitot heaters ON in A310. However, if I'm switching my physical switch on my quadrant to turn pitot heater ON on my Honeycomb, the warning light extinguish and no more pitot icing. That make me think that pitot heater is not properly link to the switches in the panel.

Hey y'all, I have a small issue with texture lighting (nothing that can stop me using this wonderful add-on though). Depending my external camera location around the aircraft I have those bug (in this exemple I just moved my camera a couple of feet up) :

Thanks a lot for this explanation ! So, wouldn't ge great to simulate all of that ? (via the tablet when on the ground and with an option for AUTO for those who doesn't want to bother). Maybe I'm asking too much here 🤣
 -
Oh that's an interesting point ! Can you develop/explain a bit more? (why, how you transfert and who, etc...) Thanks !

Would be great if the link instrument option include the PFD and ND backlighting as well. Like that no need to switch seat just to setup the brightness on those.

Yeah, maybe it is indeed difficult to reproduce it in the sim. But for sure, in real life airliners accelerate quicker than that, priority is given to accelerate to whatever speed is needed with CI rather than rate of climb. ROC will be whatever it is at CI speed. Thanks anyway.

Hey y'all, A bug on my side. When flying manually I can hear the altitude alerter sound. However, under A/P the sound doesn't play, don't hear nothing at all (the amber light is woorking in both case though). Cheers,

Another one that could be improved : Acceleration profil are way too slow. Reaching acceleration height and 10.000ft the aircraft is accelerationg too slowly. for exemple, at 3000 ft acceleration height the plane is keeping climbing too much, thus reaching 250kt around 10.000 ft (I tried with a light weight takeoff). Same with acceleration at 10.000ft from 250kt to 300kt. In real life acceleration is much quicker with the aircraft slowing the rate of climb around 1000ft/min, of course depending the aircraft and the weight but the minimum is 1000ft/min as ATC expect us to have at least this rate of climb (with airliner not light aircraft). Definitely not 2800ft/min with a very slow acceleration. Maybe a point that you can look at as well... Keep the blue side up !

I just discovered that I have a fuel issue as well. Not quite the same though. At the end of the flight my FMS is off by 4000-5000 lbs (less than actual) compare to what I have left in the tanks. I saw that on several long haul flights (8h and more).

Hello everyone, Here is my 2 cents. No mean to complain, just trying to help out Inibuild to make the A310 even better. Some of the issues and suggestions below might have been already discussed, it is just to confirm the same things on my side though : - Engine oil quantity : too much oil in those engine (outside of reading range), in real life on those engine you get around 18 to 20 qt MAX. Also, when you start the engine there is a drop in oil quantity of about 3 to 4 qt (due to the oil starting circulating). I found a video where you can see that : - White nav light don't appear on both wingtips, however the reflection on the ground is present but way too bright. - The pressurization system is working only about half the time. When it's not working I have the same problem as discussed in other post. Despite several try, I am not able to reproduce it or link it to something that might cause that. - A working terrain radar would be great indeed, especially when flying special approaches (like Innsbruck or Sion). - I can see that the APU door slightly open, but only few inches, definitely not the opening we should observe. - TCAS dimming possibility. If there is one I didn't find it (way too bright for those long haul night flight). - Implementing custom ground equipment (not everyone is using GSX and the MSFS ground equipment sucks). Keep up with the great work, you guys rock !
 -
On my side the white nav light reflects on the ground (brighter than landing light though) but no white light appear in the wingtip, exactly like on the screenshot above but for me it's all the time, even on the ground.

Oh ok, then the FPA is only for manual descent then ?

Speed of selecting a new heading or altitude
Alexair replied to Malte Dietsch's topic in Suggestions
And for the altitude, just clic the up arrow that appear on top of the rotary knob (same way you do to synchronize heading), this change the dialing from 100th to 1000th. -
I didn't try an RNAV yet with the A310, but I believe it is in the window with the DH, you have the option to display and select the FPA the same way you set the DH.

Be sure to have the ENHANCED version installed, it's a game changer. You can install it directly from the content manager. That will fix all the blurries.
