  1. That's really good to hear, thanks. I find the aircraft really stable at 2x and at 4x it porpoises up and down but does fly along fine without busting the altitude too much. Laterally it does a pretty good job at 4x. Have not tried 8x as that seems to cause almost every non-PMDG aircraft I have to fall out of the sky after a while. One thing I would really appreciate you looking into has already been raised but that's the fuel burn stays at 1x regardless of the sim rate, which results in significantly heavier landing weights than normal. With long haul aircraft they do really need to support sim rate to some degree. A lot of simmers have limited time to sim and want to replicate real life routes or routes they've flown and not always fly a short haul city pair. This will be especially critical once the A350 releases so I do hope Ini does give higher sim rates some attention going forward. PMDG aircraft seem to be incredibly stable even at 8x so perhaps it might be possible to reach out to them to see how they achieve it?
  2. Exactly the same issue as posted in the now locked thread, my inimanager will not open and the progress bar gets stuck on the r. App is hung completely and unusable. Tried downloading the new installer and still have the same problem.
  3. I sent the link to the video a few days ago, but I have definitely confirmed that it was a 3rd party livery that has been causing problems. I added them all back and noticed problems immediately, including the checklist in the EFB refusing to scroll again. Removing the liveries then returned everything back to normal. I've been testing extensively with FSiPanel doing landings over and over and the aircraft is performing wonderfully again. I've narrowed it down to 2 potential liveries that were not playing nicely. Not sure why this happens but it was 100% the cause of my issues.
  4. OK so this is interesting but it also makes no sense. I decided to deactivate all my A310 liveries using addon linker. I decided to download the Air Transat liveries again from the Inimanager. Put fresh installs into my folder and fired up the sim with only them active. I've just done 5 practice landings and all went perfectly. The plane flew just as it used to and was a joy to hand fly on the approach and landing. So tomorrow's test will be to put the other liveries back and see if things stay as they are or go back to the pitching up. I can either eliminate a) Another 3rd party livery interfering somehow or b) For some reason I can't explain the original Air Transat install was corrupted somehow. I noticed in my flight log I was having good landings in other A310s but recently have been flying the Transat ones where the issues have started. I'd never imagined that the livery itself might be the cause of the issue. I'll report back once I've put all the other liveries and some other addons back into my community folder.
  5. OK I did a re-install, but it has not fixed the problem. I have got it on video, can I please PM you the link to download it? Something is definitely wrong with my A310, because as you will see it is flying normally (although not my best approach ever, flying with one hand while holding your phone in the other isn't that easy apparently!) then when it gets to about 60ft RA it starts pitching up.At this point I decided to let go of the yoke completely and it just keeps pitching up until it climbs away up to over 4000fpm climb rate and stalls. Also note at 30ft RA the autothrust does not idle in this case but keeps adding power and the aircraft climbs. I have absolutely no idea what is causing this. My A310 used to perform normally but a couple of updates ago I started seeing this behaviour.
  6. I'm having a very strange issue with the A310 that is killing my ability to land the aircraft, but it doesn't look like anyone else is having it. I'm nice and stable on approach, I usually hand fly from 1,000ft RA down. I have no problems keeping the aircraft stable and on speed. Then I get to about 200-100ft RA and the A310 starts pitching nose up. I have to add a fair bit of down elevator just to keep it from entering a climb. Once I recover that around 50ft it starts to pitch up again, with or without autothrust engaged, meaning that around 30ft I get a very prolonged float. I don't even need to add any back pressure to the yoke as it pitches nose up by itself. Of course this causes the speed to drop off and I normally end up slamming into the ground at 10-15kts below vref and floating outside the touchdown zone. This has only recently started happening and I don't have the issue with any other aircraft. I'm using the Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke and Honeycomb Bravo throttles. I've checked all my assignments to make sure nothing is interfering from the hardware side. I'm thinking first step might just be a re-install. Is that done through the in game content manager or can I just delete the folder from community?
  7. Just updated to the new version 2.1.4 and noticed what seem to be a couple of reversions from 2.1.3. In the settings page the version number is not listed again and also the setting to update the manager and products automatically does not save again. Keeps defaulting back to off.
  8. They just started on their own. I recall my steps clearly........... I have a custom install path: D:\MSFS ADDONS\SCENERY\INIBUILDS LIBRARY This was the path I had set previously, and was running v2.0.6 of the inimanager I downloaded the v2.0.9 update from the link in the forum post here and saved it. Ran the update exe as admin and it installed in the same location as the previous version v2.0.6 Then I ran the inimanager and immediately all 15 product downloads started on their own. A download dialog appeared on the right side of the manager with all my products listed under active downloads, where it then went through them one by one. I checked the install path thinking that maybe it was trying to download them into a default path but no it had correctly picked up my custom location and was simply installing over the top of my existing products. It appeared that it thought that my products needed updating because the icon was yellow - It had clearly detected that my products were installed but it was still downloading the entire product. Hope this helps, but I confirm absolutely 100% that the downloads started on their own. I simply ran the inimanager and it happened as soon as the manager opened.
  9. Hi, I just updated my Inimanager to v2.09 and its now redownloading all 15 products that I have! This is completely unnecessary as my install path has not changed, the new version recognised my path and is just re-installing on top of my existing installation. This is at least 30GB of totally wasted bandwidth. Please can you stop this behaviour when updating? IT should be able to recognise that the products are already installed especially when the install path is exactly the same. Massive waste of time and bandwidth.
  10. Yes, I would also absolutely pay for the PW and Cargo expansions for the A310 and of course a complete A300-600 package as well.

    (too) Bad fps

My A310 has not compiled properly. On first load it loaded in less than a minute. When I look in my LocalState\packages\microsoft-aircraft-a310-300 folder there is just a work folder and no other files. No dll, lib, cache, obj or pdb files at all. Completely empty except for the work folder. Looks like the WASM is not compiling properly. I was not in dev mode, and have not had dev mode enabled for months. I had the A310 installed within 30mins of the launch and did not run the A310 before installing the Enhanced package. So my first run was with the Enhanced included if that makes any difference.
  12. Incredible news about the A310 coming to MSFS. I do hope this will mean the superb A300 will be joining it at some point as well. Very happy with this news today, actually just signed up for a forum account to say thank you. Will be an instant purchase for me.
