Hello, I like the A343 very much. Today I tried to use it with beyondATC. I've encountered the problem that I can't request WX: If I enter an ICAO code and send the request nothing happens. Also the WX on the EFB flight overview page can't be updated.

Hello all. I have recently got MSFS24 and along with it the A340 that I bought on the weekend sale. So far have been doing traffic patterns and general handflying to get used to it. Great so far. For some reason my Simbrief wont play nice. I have a unlimited account with Navigraph. Any help?

Could someone please explain how to release the autobraking at the end of the landing roll. In most other payware aircraft I repeatedly tap the brakes (bound to a button on my joystick) to release them and roll to a nice slow speed, however this doesn't seem to work in the A340. Also, not sure if it is related but on pressing the brakes during a taxi to slow down a little, I'm struggling not to get the aeroplane to stop dead. There seems to be a very fine line between slowing down and coming to a complete halt. Thanks!

Hello, I am having an Issue with the Inibuilds A340 IRS initalization. After a cold & dark startup, as soon as I switch on BAT and External Power, the MCDU already shows "Aircraft Position Invalid" This happens before I align the IRS or interact with the MCDU in any way. The IRS Init page never shows "SET IRS POS" and alignment is not possible. Because of this, LNAV probably doesnt work: The ND displays the aircraft position, airport and route correctly and the programmed route is shown normally on the ND. However, the aircraft does not follow the route and pulling or pushing the HDK/TRK knob does not engage Navigation. Other aircraft (e.g. Fenix)…

During the FMGS preparation, using the attached OFP, when i got into the INIT B page I noticed that the ALTN fuel value was much bigger than the one on the OFP so, I tried to change that value but I didn´t work. Moving to the second option, i decided to change the MIN DEST FOB value which worked however the EXTRA/TIME field didn´t reflect that. In the images I attached you can see that my predicted landing fuel is 17,2t which gives me a 0,9t extra using the value insert at MIN DEST FOB (16,3t) as reference but the EXTRA/TIME does not reflect that. I like inibuild´s A340, but I think, the following issue is not realistic: Configuration: ZFW 172 to, Fuel 85 to, Cost Index 200 Starting with MTOW the airplane accelerates not to 250 kts, but to the green dot speed of 269 kts. Reaching the first flight level 320, the managed cruise speed is .805 Mach (at CI 200?). At Opt FL 320 / Rec Max FL 348 I climb to FL 330. During the climb phase the airplane accelerates to Mach .82. Reaching cruise FL 330 the managed speed falls to Mach .799. The Rec Max FL jumps to 354. At Opt FL 330 / Rec Max FL 361 I climb to FL 340. Hello all, I noticed that switching the north ref to "true" doesn´t effect the DDRMI (right next to the button). However, as seen below, the switching seems to affect the DDRMI in the real aircraft. The displayed courses slighty move in the same way as they do on the ND. Would be great to have that effect added 🙂

Hi I use inibuilds A340 for MS2024 and GSX Pro for MS2024. Both are updated. I use the EFB to prepare a flightplan wih simbrief. I make sure taht GSX also has the simbrief flightplan loaded. In the Payload & Fueling page of the EFB, I cllick on Import all from simbrief, make sure that fuel and payloard are populated in PLAN and then click Load with GSX. GSX starts with refueling, auto-updating LIVE fueling gradually to match PLAN fuel. But after the fuel truck goes, nothing more happens. No loading of passenger/cargo. Hello I don’t know if this is a common issue reported but I was flying with the a340 from iah to eddf and halfway through my flight the autopilot automatically disconnected. I tried everything to re engage it but wasn’t working. Anyone else have this problem?

Hello I tried to perform an autoland and it went ok until I was about 100 feet above runway, then suddenly the nose skydives onto the runway, landing with the nose gear first. Afterwards the airplane skids off the runway by a turn to the left. Thanks for any help. /Amir

Many thanks for another update. Just to confirm the bugs relating to the vertical navigation stuff are all still present, just like on the 350,300 etc. Things such as, but not limited to: FCU Selected Altitude arrow symbol still incorrect logic. For example, Constraint asterisks incorrect. F-PLN page showing at FF06 at 2000, which is meeting the constraint, but then an amber asterisk next to it, indicating it won't meet the constraint... SPD/MACH mode indications still incorrect. ....unfortunately it is as with the A350, every Update makes the handling worse. For example Front wheel fixed to the ground but middle Wheel is now over the Ground. Calibartaing on no lets not talk about that etc

Even with a small roll input, the bank angle will gradually increase to 45 degrees for the A340. This should not be the case for an aircraft with FBW.

I’m currently North of Norway at FL330 when all of the sudden I lost all GPS navigation systems. Is this accurate, is there no GPS at all between Norway and Svalbard? (also I’m getting a constant audible message saying “pull up!” over and over that began when I lost GPS…related?)

When the gear is retracted right after take-off, the 340's nose jumps up a few degrees in pitch. Pitch trim was calculated by the EFB with the correct numbers (1/4.9UP).I understand that because of a gear retraction/extension the CG changes slighty forward/backward, but not in 0.5 seconds. Also during takeoff-rotation, it is hard to bring the nose up gently. I tried different sensitivities on the joystick, tried to mess around with different payloads/Trims/FLEX/Flaps etc... nothing realy helps. Once airborne, the joystick feeling is ok. I have seen posts on this before... Just wanna bring it up again in case this issue is linked.

Hello, I am using the Winwing MCDU and it will work at the start of my flight, roughly 30ish minutes in the MCDU will freeze. The MCDU will still work inside the sim but not on the MCDU. How do I figure out what is causing this issue? Regards, Tyson

On the Descend page on the FMC, the time to start the descend is actually the estimated arrival time. Not the time when reaching TOD. If you want to see your correct time to start descend, you have to look at the time on the "f-pln". There the time is correct.
