Dear all, this is my first flight with the A340. I felt the brake performance was exceptionally strong. For test, I was able to land on a short runway like SBRJ (which is 4300 meters). Even with Autobrake (AB) set to '1', the plane decelerated too quickly. Is this accurate for the A340, or does the simulation need some fine-tuning?

Hi, as I understand it is not so easy to implement that every display is a single popout window, would it be possible to at least change the arrangement of the displays in the one single popout? An arrangement like in the real aircraft from left to right would be great. Left PFD, centre Nav Display, right ENG display, continuing with the FO displays to the right or below. Thanks a lot Julian

I'm wondering if it's possible to downgrade from the A340-300 v2 to the first version? In the first version, I was happily flying all over the world - to any airport and from any airport. Plus, I experienced no CTDs. I was enjoying the flights. As soon as the Streamed Edition went to v2, however, I can no longer fly the 340. MSFS 2024 crashes to the desktop shortly after completing the cold and dark process, shortly after takeoff, during climbs, and during the approaches. Plus, the FD disengages every time I engage the autopilot, if the autopilot even engages. Finally, v2 no longer autolands, because it isn't picking up the ILS signal. I had none of these issu…

I have Honeycomb Bravo Quadrant set up for 4 engines. In MSFS binding each engine assigned to the axis 1,2,3,4 respectfully. My problem is when I calibrate throttles in EFB for max position, I push my physical throttles full but inside 340 the only go to FL MCT detent. Is there a way to calibrate them properly?

I've noticed that the cockpit sun visors do not appear to be functional. With the sun positioned directly ahead (at 12 o'clock), there is no noticeable reduction in light or shading on the Captain's seat upon deployment. Is this a known issue with the aircraft model? Many thanks!

Good day! On my last flight with the great A340-300 i faced wet conditions in Montreal. The Runway was wet which increases my landing distance. So i selected wet runway in the efb for my calculation... and the landing distance was not as much as with a wet runway. Im pretty sure this is not how it would be in real life. I also added 2 Pictures showing what i mean. I already posted it in the discord but i didn't get an answer. I do care about the product getting better! Perhaps its a known issue but i would have not found a Topic about that.

As per the title I am getting strange behaviour in the MCDU when modifying the thrust reduction acceleration. Entering any altitude causes the engine out acceleration field to disappear, an additional 0 is placed to the left of the THR RED/ACC field. I tried on a few flights with different altitudes same issue. I am on sim update 4.

Hi, I've seen an issue with lateral navigation on a missed approach, for example ILS 23R at EGCC. The missed approach is straight ahead to 750' or D0.3 MCT, whichever is later, then right right to track 356. However as you can see from the screenshot, the plane turns much further to the right than track 356. It appears to me as though the plane is computing the 356 track from the runway threshold (or similar) meaning it needs to turn far further right than track 356 in order to "capture" this path.

Since the last update, I did 3 long haul flights and during 2 of these flights the FD randomly switch off without any action from me. This was not happening with the 2 last versions It looks like the default Airbuses

Scenario: Have Simbrief initialized flight in MCDU. During Climb, Press INIT, the WINDS softkey, then attempt to remove the first climb wind by pressing CLR and then LSK1L. Sim freezes, no error message but have to kill via task manager.

So far I have not been able to complete a single flight in the A340 (4 attempts) without having to restart the sim and load an autosave at least once per flight. At some point in the flight, when not doing anything, all systems will freeze and not recover. Sometimes it happens on climb out, and sometimes it happens 7 hours in to the flight. This is not a WASM crash as the logs don't mention any WASM related errors and the clock keeps running. I am using SU4 beta.

The chrono above the clock does not restart itself when it reaches the maximum value of 99:59. I know it's not a big issue, but if you could fix it in the coming updates, that would be nice. Thank you!

A few options are not being saved according to the user’s selection and are reverting to their default settings. The STANDBY OPTION ISIS is reverting back to default STANDBY GAUGES and must be manually enabled each time, while GPS JAMMING keeps reverting to DISABLED

Specifically happens if you spawn mid-air and then load the save. I managed to get around it by spawning on a runway and then loading the save but I bet that would prove problematic for VATSIM pilots.

It is very hard to make a soft landing on the nosegear. After the main gear touches down, and you activate thrust reversers, spoilers and autobrakes, the nose just drops like a brick. Even with full backpressure on the joystick... My center of gravity was good, and I was not landing overweight at all. This combined with a very bad nosegearsuspension, kind of breaks the experience.

When using CPDLC with SayIntention.AI and the aircraft receives a handover message, it correctly disconnects from the current active ATC unit but does not automatically send a LOGON REQUEST to the unit specified in the handover message. Also I think (not 100% sure on that) a handover message should probably not trigger a COMPANY MESSAGE ECAM note since it should be automatically handled in the background.

Hi there I still have the problem, that I get the GSX error message: Can't read aircraft type I have seen this topic here: I downloaded the two files and unpacked them in the virtuali app data (see screenshot), but the error message still shows up. Did you put the two files in the correct place? What also could be the issue? Any help is appreciated. Daniel

Just had an issue, where I almost reached ToC (about 500ft to go), all of a sudden the aircraft systems and screens froze and the aircraft went into a deep nose dive until i crashed. No control input was possible.
