Modelling & Texturing

  1. Started by iRoozy,

Hello, I am in the process of making a livery, and while doing so I noticed that in the Ext Placard PSD there are hazard area decals in the engine layer group, however I could never get them to appear, I did some looking in other liveries on this website's downloads section, the only livery I could find that these engine decals would appear in, was the Iran Air EP-IBC. Can you give me any guidance as to what I am doing wrong? Many thanks in advance and happy May Day.

Hi Team, I´ve noticed that the geometry of the VC seems to be off in someway ( in VR ). When I align my seat with the red and white balls on the center window column, I´m unable to see the FMA. In order to make the FMA visible, I have to set my position unrealistally far back or unrealistically low ( when setting the seat so low that I´m able to see the FMA, I wouldn´t be able to reach some parts on the Overhead like Fuel Pumps, Packs, etc. ). I think the easiest way to fix this is to lower the position of the PFD. Thank´s for looking into it ( please try in VR ). Best regards, Toto

I’m trying to complete my first P&W livery, and whilst the livery itself is OK, the EPR gauges seem not to work. I’ve copied the file structure of a few other P&W liveries, but still I can’t get the EPR gauges to work. Could someone please point me in the right direction? Thank-you.

  4. I know xbox doesn't have cabin which is fine but is it possible to add window textures and fix that double edge around the windows? It destroys the immersion effect while creating those beautiful wingviews. Great job with all the updates bye the way, plane is awesome!

  7. 2 questions about the Optimized Texture pack for the A300. 1st, should this texture pack be reinstalled after an update to the A300? And Secondly, when I choose the option to delete the texture pack from the inimanager "my products" page, it asks if I'm sure I want to remove the A-300 and that I will have to re-download the entire product if I want to reinstall. Does removing the texture pack actually uninstall the entire aircraft or is this just a mis-communication? I originally installed the texture pack a while ago and there have been several product updates since then, and I figured it might be a good idea to remove it and install it fresh.

  8. I cant speak for the GE freighter or any of the PAX models as I havent flown them yet, but Since the 111 update when I toggle on the stairs (left or right) there is nothing there. The slide switch moves and changes color just as it should, but no stairs. Is this a known issue or an I the only one?

Hi community, I've the problem that i dont see the logo lights in certain flight phases. On the ground, loggo lights work perfectly fine. once I am in the air I dont see them anymore. I've have the same with a product from another vendor. I assume I can be an MSFS 2020 issue but I want to ask around here. Thanks for support in advance Cheers Bernie

  10. The last time I checked, all three liveries for FedEx are missing the registration and SELCAL info in the cockpit. In other words, the panel on the pilot's side of the cockpit is blank.

  11. Have a look at the "FLAP CTL TEST" lettering. Looks like the buttons above or below it were not the correct size, and the artist had to squeeze the text over the texture which clearly overlaps the recessed panel around the buttons. Minor point, hope it's an easy fix.

This livery is listed under the PW option instead of the GE listing.

The trimmable horizontal stabilizer seems to move into the wrong direction, trimming nose up sets it nose down vice versa. Issue is only cosmetical, the flight model/system is still correct.

Hi, I think the nose of the aircraft looks strange. Besides the already known nose being too high and the nose gear problem I think there is something else in the nose that looks fanny. I have compared the a300-600 nose with the inibuilds a310 nose and I think you should take a look at the form of the 1L and 1R doors in the a300 as the vertical curvature of the doors is not aligned with the fuselage vertical structure along the vertical stringer lines on the fuselage. A copy of the a310 nose structure would be perfect. Thanks

The right-most wheel of the readout in all 3 altimeters in the cockpit seem to flicker when passing through 100ft increments. This is most obvious when level in light turbulence. As the aircraft moves up and down by a tiny amount, will continuously cross the 100ft increment. I've tried to show this in the attached gif by adjusting the pressure setting on the standby altimeter. The same issue occurs on both primary altimeters.

The needles in 5 dials on the "ELEC IND" panel (in the overhead panel) seem to refresh really slowly which look a bit off. This is only an issue on the A300. These needles are much smoother on the A310.

I took a tour of the passenger cabin on a longer flight today and found a few issues: 1. The "TVs" have a reflection effect which shows an inverted view of what is behind the aircraft. I think this effect should be disabled: 2. All 4 coffee makers in the aft galley have the warning label texture at the bottom of them misplaced: 3. There is light bleeding into the cabin in various placed, mostly around exit doors:

Hey there, I read that a normal cycle to change gear is 200-300 landings, and reach the moment where gear appears to be yellow on the maintenance screen on the tablet, but I am only around 25 landings, with a average -250fpm. Is it normal? Thanks. Happy landings
