April 1Apr 1 hey there, I’ve been having a really frustrating issue with the A350 for the past month+ and I still haven’t found any real fix. Around 2–4 hours into the flight (usually during cruise), the aircraft basically freezes in terms of systems. The sim itself is still running fine, autopilot keeps flying but veers off the flight plan, and all displays are still on, but none of the buttons or switches actually do anything. Everything is clickable but there’s no response at all. I’ve already tried clearing WASM, restarting the sim, and I’m not using any extra mods. This also happens even on fresh sessions, not back-to-back flights. From what I’ve seen, this might be some kind of SimConnect/WASM communication issue where the aircraft just stops responding mid-flight. at this point it’s making long-haul flights basically impossible, does anyone know a fix to this or just something we have to wait to be patched? and I am on the current version of the sim and aircraft (not using any betas.)
April 2Apr 2 This problem has been going on for at least 6 months now, and there seems to be no solution. I have basically stopped using this plane

I have basically stopped using this plane yeah I mean if it’s been going on for that long then there really is no point of using the aircraft anyways. in my situation it’s been going on since January, I’ve emailed customer support and they’ve told me that they’ll reach out to the developers. I really hope there is some sort of solution to this problem because it’s a shame that I paid $110 for a mod with really great potential. I guess all we have to do is wait and see when a patch comes out.

Hello, it's more than just an "Inibuilds issue" not to deflect blame as that's not the point, we all want the sim and products to works as designed and of course paid for. The ongoing Ghost WASM issue from what we believe right now is being caused by SimConnect becoming overloaded and as such the WASM module ceases communicating and fails thereon, this hasn't been 100% confirmed but this is what we are investigating now based on all the information in front of us. Similar to WASM crashes these can be experienced by nearly all aircraft that utilize WASM. I hope this explanation can clear this up at the very least let you know that we do see your frustration and are working to fix it, it's remained elusive but it is something we work with Asobo to figure out. Thank you for understanding.
Yesterday at 01:13 PM1 day I know it's an old thread, but is the one that better fit my problem. I've been flying A350 for a while with an eventual WASM ( with the red screens) but never the ghost WASM (simulation runs but plane doesn't respond). I belive after last update, I am having a lot of ghost WASM, even on taxi. I noticed there is an official WASM thread with 2 reports of red screen WASM.Does anybody know if cleaning WASM directory is actually an effective way to try to reduce it or not?I'll keep searching the forum and discord for answears...The plane is just amazing but it's becomming unpratical to do what it's built to: Long Hauls. Making matters worse, the AUTOSAVE runs out of WASM free states if you don't noticed right away if the ghost WASM happened. Edited yesterday at 01:44 PM1 day by MarcusVT reading the official WASM thread I realized this freez bug shall not be posted there.

Thank you for understanding.Thank you for the explanation. SimConnect is a strange beast, I am using it for my own scripts (detecting airplane location and other purely diagnostic things for my scripts), it works, but hey :-) Thank you for the amazing job you are doing on it. I know, it's hard, and yes, sometimes I am even hard on you, but I see the progress and you are trying to solve this. I hope the new A380 won't refocus much onto this new thing from this mostly pressuring issue. Thank you.
