I used to have this, and I solved it, but to be sure, here is a question.
When this happens what tow tractor is connected to the plane, conventional (tow bar and tractor) or tobarless?
If its the latter, you need to go into the aircraft options for GSX and tick the box that says pushback raise.
The other issue is here, is that even when saw GSX crashed, but still used SET ZFW in the EFB, then you get this warning only after take off, and they have blocked the ability to adjust the weight of the aircraft once you are airborne.
Which means I am now stuck flying an empty Jet.
They need to unlock the the adjust ZFW when you are airborne.
This seems unnessacery, I refuse to belive that I have to remove other add-ons to repair one add on.
All mine have been around the 4-6 hour mark so this doesn't help.
I did this and had a Ghost WASM crash 6 hour into a flight.
Any update on this, my last 3 flights in the A350 have all had my gauges freeze and my plane start doing sprials, This is a new issue for me, and its wearing thin.
Yes Direct to has massive issues, my solution at the moment is just to Selected Mode then delete all the waypoints between me and the direct fix then switch back to manages mode.
Entering Waypoint in my flight plan, and using LSK1L results in ENTRY OUT OF RANGE warning.
Also INIT-A page does not update CRZ FL/TEMP when a higher altitude is selected in the FCU (Is this propper A340 logic)
I noticed this behavour today also.
I am confused as to why when you select a DIR TO the TMPY FPLN comes up on the 2nd MCDU.
I think when you have an additional DIR TO you need to clear the previous one from the box of the DIR page, in the case of your video delet SVL
I had the same issue where the 2nd DIR cleared my entire flight plan, BUT, I was able to get it back with out with some missing parts by clearing the previous DIR fix from the LSKL1 box on the DIR page and inserting the new DIR waypoint.
I have never seen step descents imported into the step climb page on the FMS from simbrief.
Step descents are important as they may be for hemispherical rules.
Cruise altitude should be inital, it will automaticlly update the FCU when there is a step climb.
I am curious to know where exactly you are entering the step climbs on the FMS.
Why does it still take 8 minutes when I load my plan with a panel state of on GPU or On APU or even Ready for take off?
Surley this 8 minute load time should only be applicable for a cold and dark aircraft start up state.
