Please consider tuning the steering via the tiller and rudder...both are way too sensitive for my taste. Wolfgang

Hi Guys, I've read the manual, created a new msfs settings control profile for my thrustmaster TCA controls, only using binds Throttle axis 1, 2, 3 but reverse thrust does not work. I've tried using pfb to calibrate several times and it doesn't work. I have reverse thrust toggled. Also the levers go from idle to 100% when I push them from idle to the climb detent and not the full motion. I.E idle through to toga. Please help as it driving me mad.

I have noticed over several flights that when performing an ILS approach the Autopilot does not maintain an accurate course and glideslope and i have to disconnect the ILS and then re-engage. Not sure if this is a known issue. Also how do I correctly activate a CAT 3 Autoland ? I have tuned both Autopilot 1 and 2 with the correct ILS frequency/Course and when the plane is in landing configuration and established I have then activate autopilot 2. I must be missing a step as i cant make the autoland work...... Any guidance would be appreciated...........

Latest Tristar 1.0.2 streamed from MSFS 2024 servers (because for the life of me I get a 'failed to install' every time I try to install). Take off. Get annoyed with TM mode, 500fpm then 6000pfm, then AoA mode, then back to TM 250IAS. Trim, you want to do something please? Set AP heading same as runway, 211. Flies straight for a bit, then left in a circle. Re-select heading mode and it'll turn back to 211. ALT capture you ask for? Nope, ALT exceed is what is given and if you're doing 250 IAS the TM will soon revert to AoA mode again. ILS you say? The AP will engage, follow a bit then zoom zoom off in another direction. Its a shame after all…

When operating off of single source of bleed, pack flow should not increase after additional pack flow control valves are opened, but rather decrease. While duct pressure shows a decrease in PSI with additional packs in use, flow is still reversed. Pack flow is also indicating 2000-2500 cfm on the selected pack even when the flow control is set to off, with and without a bleed source present.

Not 100% ready to call this a bug yet as I'm still very unfamiliar with the plane, having barely had a chance to fly it yet. However, this doesn't feel right to me so wanted to check if others are seeing the same issue or there's anything I need to try before I report it as such. If I load into the Tristar cold and dark at the gate -- and I've tried this at multiple airports and both with the initial launch version and the current release -- I can't get the engines to start up with a single panel state load. If I click on the "Ready for Takeoff" panel state, the APU is started followed by engine #2, and then... that's it. The PFB shows "Waiting for engine 1 to…

Following downloading v1.0.2 I've noticed the following: 1. ACS 1 & 2 switches on the overhead panel aren't animated. They can be switched off but don't latch as they should presumably 2. TANK PUMP valves are still all showing flowbars on startup until a pump is latched when they return to LOW 3. Flight Engineer's clock is still showing LOCAL time not UTC Notwithstanding, thanks for the rapid updates to this aircraft.

1. Are the INS systems triple mixing the position information? If not, is it coming? If so, is the mode configurable? 2. Is remote mode planned so that waypoints and position data can be set simultaneously across all three? 3. Is there an inflight position update process either available or planned? DME/DME or even just a manual update at a known position?

After flying it few times, I noticed that the IAS and Mach pitch modes can be a little slow and not consistent. For the era of the L1011, this should be solid. I flew DC1030s and planes of the era were solid. The only issues I would see, which still impacts current aircraft, is temperature inversions. This causes the speed to change and leads to the aircraft pitching to attain speed. The aircraft can easily get into porpoising, which gets worst over time. The trick is to hit vert speed and lock into a climb rate. Once the aircraft settles, you can go back to IAS or Mach pitch modes. Once you get into Mach change over in the climb, aircraft can become a little pitchy as th…

Hi, the fuel used test knobs have no effect on the fuel flow or on the fuel used indicators.

Selecting a NAVAID on the MSFS EFB enables it's frequency to be set in the aircraft NAV1 radio, this works for the 1011 but doesn't change the displayed frequency on the panel. Changing a digit using either knob on the panel causes the displayed frequency to snap to the correct one.

Fuel Tank2 Left and Right Inboard tanks are positioned at the same lateral offset as the outboard tanks. They should be between the Outboard and the Tank1/Tank3 tanks, approx 38 feet from the centreline works ok. This causes problems for external applications that load fuel tanks via simconnect etc whereby the wrong tank gets loaded. The overlaying of the tanks can be seen in the attached screenshot (ignore the Right-hand tanks being shown on the left wing, this is an MSFS bug to be fixed in SU5)

Since I flew aircraft with flight engineers, I prefer to use the virtual one in sim. For the starting engines check, the virtual engineer should open the bleed shutoff valve if they haven't done so before this time.

At cruise at FL350, fuel tank temp is at SAT, not TAT. Fuel doesn't cool below the temperature of the airframe, and it takes hours to cool to that as well. My fuel tank temp is -60 ATM.

Here is the scenario CYVR by FSDT. RWY 26R. VOR set to frequency 111.95. On approach, LOC and ILS captured (aircraft reacts and GS tag turns white) but it flies 30 degrees north of runway heading and does not follow descent slope. I tried 6 times!! Something is NOT right with the ILS. It’s not fixed in V1.01 as marketed. Flown here countless of times with other aircraft without issues. No way I will do manual approach and land with every flight. This needs to be fixed.

For me trying to use Panel state just doesn't work. If I try to put the plane to "Ready for takeoff" state, some of the engines won't start up. Usually it's engines 1 and 3. If I repress the "Ready for takeoff" it might get the engines going but not always. Also using the "Autocomplete" buttons under "Flight engineer autocomplete" do not work: some of the steps stay red. And when I do get the airplane runnning, engines will shutdown seemingly random.

The approach pitch appears to be low. It should be around 7 degrees on a 3 degree slope with flaps 33. This is from the manual and landing geometry.

With trim set, the aircraft tends to rotate quickly with little input. The DC10 and other aircraft I flew took some input initially and then nose down trim as you approach V2 +10. The trim is set for V2, so as you pass V2 the nose start to rise on you requiring you to trim nose down. In the DC10, when it was heavy/near max takeoff weight, you did a two step rotation. You do an initial pump to start the rotation and then the second pump to pull it towards 10 degrees. Passing 10 degrees, she is lifting off and you are pushing sightly forward while trimming down to catch V2+10. I would assume in the real L1011, if it rotated so quickly, you would be tail strike prone. Should…

As the title suggests, engine 1 rolls back upon engine spool up. I was able to taxi under idle power, but as soon as I spooled up to get onto the runway, engine 1 shut down. I was able to restart it, but even with the slightest amount of throttle, the engine still shutdown. This could be user error, but I was following along with a tutorial video as well as using the Autocomplete feature. https://medal.tv/games/microsoft-flight-simulator-2024/clips/mqjWJ4wW3zWpgDfoY?invite=cr-MSxYTlAsMTkzNzg2ODc5
