Sitting at the gate setting up and both the DH light on the artificial horizon and the DH light on the radar altimeter are flashing intermittently. Different durations between flashes, different durations of being lit.

  2. Hi, even after filling GW, Fuel and OAT in the flight init page of the PMS on the ground, I get OPT flight level as 888. This looks to me like a regression bug, not present in the previous versions.

  3. Load the aircraft, cold and dark Enter the cockpit, swap to FE station, observe cabin altitude gauge Needle starts full scale high climb, moves to full scale low descent, stays there. Opening doors, turning on power, turning on the APU and a pack doesn't change it. I uninstalled -- including deleting the WASM folder -- and reinstalled and the behavior is still present. I did not have the aircraft selected in the menu when doing so.

  4. Started by Trevor,

Just did a flight from London Heathrow to Teheran. In the climb the vertical speed stayed around 1 500' per minute. I was NOT in vertical speed mode. Was using PM and VNAV. This plane should climb at about 2500' + down to about 700' per minute as it gets higher. It should NOT stay at a constant VS. It appears the thrust/power management in the .air file needs some adjusting. Can you please look into this matter - thanks.

Hello, when setting the captain's and co-pilot's oxygen panels, it appears to me that as soon as the system is turned ON, the pilots are using it. This conclusion gathered from the fact that the flow bar rhythmically moves with the average adult breath cycle. In my experience this should be: Supply OFF --> System is Dead Supply ON, Demand Normal or 100%, Operating Mode Normal --> Pressure rises on the oxygen pressure gauge (No reference found for value, but 60-70 psi seems normal for indicator) Supply ON, Demand Normal or 100%, Operating Mode Emergency --> Continuous flow bar as mixed or 100% positive oxygen flow commences. Should have a slight drop on regulator…

  6. Not sure if these are related, so I'm reporting them together. The GPU will be disconnected on the PFB, but still show as available on the Engineer panel in all phases of flight. I use the GNS530 + the INS for Navigation. The GNS530 for departure and arrival and the INS for the in between flight plan. During the flight the GNS530 regularly reboots. Although it doesn't seem to effect guidance of the AP, it does cause me trouble with BATC and needing to check in again which can add burden to an over stimulated pilot during flight. I did a flight last night and can provide logs if the storage location can be provided.

I have noticed that once at a high altitude, the N1 digital reading and "needle" readings are different. The numbers indicate 94% (which I believe is correct) but the "needle" is indicating over 100%/ - out of sync

  9. This is happening too early. Change should be at M.82 but it already noses down at .78. Maybe already mentioned but I couldn't find anything

  10. Updated today and the option "Rudder controls tiller" on the EFB doesn't make nothing, tried clearing WASM, rebinding axes and restarting simulator multiple times, the ruder controls the tiller every time and it is not only a graphical issue cause the wheel spins anyway, It is an option that I have been waiting for since the day of release and it is essential. Thanks

  11. Started by OWEN_6436,

It's a fantastic plane and it really stunned me. Just one problem, as per the given manual: Dose “All rudder/stabilizer/aileron servos are shut off” mean the surface cannot move even if the hydraulic is fine? I'm not very professional but I think so, because when I unlatch Spoilers SWS, the corresponding spoiler is shut off and cannot deflect. However for rudder, stabilizer and ailerons, they still move when they are unlatched. An operating manual for L1011 also suggests that when RUDDER SW is off, no rudder control is available, but in this model, rudder works fine.

  12. So far, I’ve only managed to get the ILS working successfully at ZUCK with the SS3D version. I cannot activate the ILS at any other airport — including iniBuilds’ VHHH, EGLL, and third-party RKSI, among others. I’ve completed all the steps that I can did: entered the ILS frequency and magnetic runway heading, switched to RADIO mode, used HDG to line up with the runway, and descended below the glideslope. Yet at the vast majority of airports, the ILS and LOC buttons simply won’t light up no matter what I do. I want to figure out the reason for this issue, please help me.

  13. Have reinstalled the plane twice now, and every time the aircraft gets stuck in a holding pattern, the aircraft autopilot lights light up, but it will not follow any route in GPS or INS. All fixed now. It was due to the winwing joystick software

  14. TriStar version 1.0.4 MSFS Update 5 version 1.7.27.0 Mode: INS + GPS Is there any trick to getting past the "OK?" blinking prompt on the Garmin 530? I started by trying the ENT button then all other buttons on the unit (including the big push buttons). Tried with various power sources--ground, APU and all engines on. Plus, double checked that all bus ties were connected (w/ all engines running). Ensured the master radio buttons were turned on. Tried after INS was fully aligned and in NAV. And tried unmapping the Avionics Master key binding which was set.

Doing the usual VHHX-RJTT, take off RWY13 Track 136 115.5 VOR, climbing 7000 till WHISKY in 1.0.4 Tristar Dial in FL370, haven't pressed any button to intervene/change. ALT window changes from 7000 ALT to 7200 ALT CAP (while 37000 is in the SELECT ALTITUDE box) and slowly climbs, uncommanded 500FPM. Fine, what ever, we are going to climb anyway. Hit VNAV, plane climbs at 500FPM. Cycle TM button to get the PMS EPR to work, and then we get climb thrust (apparently we shouldn't need to cycle TM button, just hit VNAV). So now in CMD1, TM/VNAV/VOR, happy at 250knots. Plane heads upwards, trim wheel start slowly turning to pitch up, and up, and up. We are now >6000FPM…

  16. Hello. With a fully configured PMS and all that; If I press TM mode but autopilot is OFF, it will command 000 EPR and retard the throttles. Is it by design/ on purpose ?

  17. Hello ini, as I progress through my long-range flights, I'm having fuel balancing problems between tanks. The rule is that as the fuel quantities between Tank 1, Tank 3 and the SUM of Tanks 2L and 2R become equal, fuel configuration changes to the "tank-to-engine" config. In this configuration, Tank 1 feeds ENG 1, Tank 3 feeds ENG 3 and Tanks 2L+2R feed ENG 2 (Hence the need for the sum of the 2 tanks). With all cross-feeds now closed and all engines consuming fuel at the same rate, the ratio of equal amounts between tanks 1, 2L+2R and 3 should persist. Here is what I am observing: As I manage to re-match the fuel quantities exactly, you can see I am…

  18. HI, today I mixed up during the iNS inittialisation two numbers. Result: magenta point (aircraft) on the INS map at wrong position. I didn't find a way to fix it. I did several re-initialisations of the INS. Re-Import Simbrief Flightplan. Switched form INS1 to INS2 etc. etc. But nothing helps, beside a restart of th Tristar. Any idea or experience with this situation?

Hello, I used 1.0.4 on a livestream last night flying into Dallas Fort Worth runway 36L. I had issues while attempting to have the autopilot capture the ILS. I intercepted the localizer using LOC at a 30 degree angle, which Autopilot seemed to do rather aggressively. Then when I changed over from LOC to ILS it stopped attempting to track the localizer all together and completely missed capturing the glideslope, even though LOC and GS were showing on the AFCS annunciator. Thankfully I was able to disconnect and manually land the plane. i was navigating with the GPS, and can confirm it was set to VLOC and that NAV 1 was set to the correct ILS frequency and course.

When going word for word over the Standby Power Test, some checklist items do not conform to what is seen on the panel; 1. With Battery OFF and STBY PWR ON, ESS BUS FAIL lights are ON and STBY BUS FAIL lights are OFF. (Reverse on checklist) 2. When checking STBY DC BUS, there is an Amp load across the bus (Checklist mentions 0 Amps) I believe the 2 items in point 1. are reversed. Looking at the panel electrical flow diagram, it is logical that the STBY bus is powered but not the ESS.. As for point 2., I don't know the system well enough, however in most cases when current is placed on a bus, there usually is some load associated as there will be items on th…

  21. Doing a VHHX to RJTT flight. Diligently populating the INS with the next way points after 9. They all happily show up on the minimap in the centre console. Entered in all new way points 1-6. 6 being the last point needed to get to the ILS. When the INS flicked from 9-1 it deleted all the waypoints and reset them to 0000N 0000E. Had to quickly re-enter the deleted 6 way points. What did I do wrong? Not using GPS or any other function. So now we are following the INS but for the life of me it would not hold an altitude. 3000 set, 2500-3200 given. She was all over the place. Its hard to believe that the first plane that could do a Cat-3C autoland has so…

  22. Hi, my first flight with v1.0.4, flying from Honolulu PHNL to Osaka RJBB. On this route there are two consecutive waypoints where one is on W latitude and second is on E longitude. The aircraft correctly continues to fly to the next waypoint (INS6 in my case) when reaching the last W longitude one (INS5) in INS lateral mode but the map can't deal with it. See the attached screenshot.

  23. Since version 1.0.3, I've been experiencing a bug where, when engaging reverse thrust using my joystick, the reverse engages normally, but the animation of the reverse opening on the engines doesn't work. The engine remain normal as if there were no reverse engaged. My joystick is a Logitech 3D Pro. For reverse thrust, I use a configuration that assigns a button that activates reverse thrust and keeps it activated while I'm holding the button, allowing me to use the same throttle axis movement I use for forward thrust, now controlling the intensity of the reverse thrust. Earlier this month I reported another bug related to this method of activating reverse thrust, wh…

  25. I cannot for the life of me get the auto spoilers to deploy on landing or a rejected take off. I have read the manual and made sure it meets the criteria with flaps etc. but no joy. Occasionally if I apply manual brakes they seem to deploy. Is it me or is anybody else experiencing this ?
