Emergency exit light switch
PW freighter: the emergency exit lights switch is in the On position whenever starting a new flight.

MSFS2024 FROZEN WITH A300-600 PREMIUM
Yes, you need to uninstall and then reinstall that app to fix the problem.

Console Flood Lights and Heading knob
Next to the loudspeaker knob on both sides of the cockpit, there is a 3-position switch that controls the lighting of the console. Around the time the new radio stack was released, a bug was introduced where this light is now on by default. I'll try to take a screenshot later on. Regarding the heading knob, yes, it was my misunderstanding.

Autopilot disconnect sound missing
The sound for the red AP disconnect button on the yoke has no sound right now.

Console Flood Lights and Heading knob
Two things I noticed tonight: The "push to sync" the heading knob is reversed (it's now pull to sync) The console flood lights are on at the beginning of every flight (originally reported as an issue with the 2020 version)

Default commands not working
I'll try that when I get a chance, thanks.
-
Default commands not working
Nope, no dice. I tried for instance "Parking Brake On" and "Parking Brake Off", with a clean controller profile, and nothing happened.
-
Default commands not working
Alright, I'll give it another try when I can.

FCU Altitude and Heading not working with Axis and Ohs
It might be because the knobs aren't animated - I tried the default inputs (i.e., those not created by a third-party profile), and those work fine, although the knobs will not rotate.

Default commands not working
All of those commands are in the default MSFS commands menu but none of them actually do anything in the A300.

Default commands not working
There are a few sets of default commands that do not work with the plane: - Beacon Light On / Beacon Light Off - Taxi Light On / Taxi Light Off - Parking Brake On / Parking Brake Off

APU fuel pump and temperature display
Two things: 1. It seems the APU can run indefinitely with one of the fuel pumps running. That doesn't seem right 2. Internal temperature display: is the cabin temperature supposed to be shown on the CRT screen when the rotary knob is set to something other than "CRT"?

Systems and displays freezing
WASM is a code format used in MSFS for a number of planes. Unfortunately it turns the A300 into a plane that may be rendered unusable at any moment.

Seatbelt chime
Okay, now it's working - the cockpit door has to be open to be able to hear it (PW freighter).
-
Seatbelt chime
Nope, didn't work - did a full uninstall and reinstall and deleted the work folder, but the same problem is still there.
-
Seatbelt chime
I've not tried that yet, no. Guess I'll give that a try next...
-
Seatbelt chime
I dunno what to think, then. I'm not running any sort of sound or other enhancement mods that would cause an issue.
-
Seatbelt chime
Addendum to the above: it still only chimes once.
-
Seatbelt chime
Wait, now it's working again... ðĪŠ
-
Seatbelt chime
Alright, I cleared it out (second time I've done this) and...no dice - except now the chime doesn't play at all and the autopilot disconnect button sound on the stick only plays once.

FCU Altitude and Heading not working with Axis and Ohs
I attempted today to map the FCU knobs for altitude and heading to a couple of encoder knobs on my controller, with the Axis and Ohs scripts I downloaded from flightsim.to a while ago and work fine for some other commands I have mapped. However, for these two FCU knobs, the increase and decrease buttons do not work at all. I thought maybe it was because they are encoders, but trying to map them to momentary switches didn't produce any solution - the knobs just sit there idle. There are two different AAO scripts out there for the A300 on flightsim.to and I tried both sets of scripts, but neither of them would work.

Throttles stuck on landing
Got it. ððŧ BTW, this is yet another reason why we need better documentation with these planes that explains these sorts of things. I've been landing the A300 this way since day 1 because nothing in the print documentation or official videos anywhere makes mention of this (that ATHR should remain on only for auto-landings). It would save a lot of time and frustration on the player's part if these sorts of things were explained in better detail.

Throttles stuck on landing
EDIT: the system as I understand, will start to move the throttles to idle at about 30 ft AGL and then disengage when the wheels hit the ground, when LAND mode is engaged.

Throttles stuck on landing
Thanks, and yes what I'm doing is keeping the autopilot on til about 500 feet, then clicking off the autopilot and guiding the plane down with ATHR still engaged. From what I understand, the ATHR system will disengage at about 30 feet AGL when LAND is engaged.
