I have had at least nine CTDs in a row tonight trying to load the freighter version. This is beyond frustrating:

Come on Guys, Your In manager has quit working, FIX please.

So, what does it take to get a response from anyone here about this? @Nico - Gumby -
IniManager crashes each time after 200mb download

Would it be possible to get that too? I am stuck right now without a working version of the A300 and would really like to be able to use the new version this weekend. -

I have to agree - this app right now is a piece of junk. It really shouldn't be that hard to download and install an update. -
App crashes and then does nothing when trying to update

I tried removing it from my Addons Linker folder, and I re-ran the app. And...it crashed again after getting halfway through the update process. This is not good, guys. -
As the title says - I tried to update the A300 for MSFS today and it crashed twice, and now the third time it just sits there saying "downloading" and nothing happens.

In the manuals I have read, there is a mention of using the DCEL mode on the Flight Plan page to slow the aircraft down to green dot speed if it has passed the TOD marker but descent clearance has not yet been given. However, I do not see this function available:
-
Update: nope, it was me. 😄 All is working properly now!
-
Yep, it looks like an AAO problem, as the default keyboard bindings work fine. 😞
-
Yes, I understand all that. My gear lever is a 3-position type, and what's happening is that when I move it to the Gear Up position (with AAO, yes), the gear retracts, but the animation of the lever only goes to the neutral position. I wasn't seeing this before the last update, so it makes me wonder if there is a bug here.
-
When retracting the landing gear during takeoff, the gear retracts, but it looks like the lever is physically not moving from the down position to the up position - it just moves to the neutral position, even though the gear is retracted. This is with a Virpil control panel landing gear lever.

From what I have read and have seen in my experience, the tire wear rate is exaggerated right now. After about 10(!) landings my tires were already in the red zone, and it's not as if I'd had any hard landings in that process. Perhaps with "normal" usage the tires should be in the green up to about 33 landings, yellow after 66, and red after 100?

Don't get me wrong, I really learned a lot about the A300 from A330 Driver's videos, but this guy also does a great job at explaining things, from start to finish: His checklist can be found here: https://flightsim.to/file/66539/a300-full-sop-checklist

Yes, but there are jumpseats that can be filled.

In the passenger section for the A30F on Simbrief, the options are Auto, None, and Full (0). Why does that last option say Zero for a full load?
-
When receiving taxi information, altitude assignments, transponder info, etc, it would be cool to have a virtual notepad we could bring up to write down that information.
-
On a related note, what effect(s) do worn tires have on the plane's performance? Braking efficiency?
-
As the subject heading says: when attempting to park at the NE parking area, all 4 positions are marked as "too small" for the A300. Beyond that, there are a lot of other places at the airport marked as too small by GSX that probably can fit the A300 just fine. Related to the first issue - when unloading cargo at NE parking, the unloading process gets stuck at 67%.
-
-
Also, to add: what finally worked to get the thing out of the climb was to disengage auto-throttle. Only then did the plane start descending like I wanted it to.
-
@Nico - Gumby, I take that back - I am trying an approach into KMEM right now, and the damn plane won't descend properly to the approach and is now climbing instead of descending. Something is seriously screwed up - no matter if try level change, vertical speed, etc, it's stuck in a climb.

When the ATC tells an AI plane to report the player's plane is or is not in sight, the AI will not verbalize the "Airbus" part of the message. It will instead say "have the in sight."
-
I haven't seen in it a while, no.

I'm good for the moment, now, thanks. 🙂
