Hey there, ever since owning this aircraft (which is fantastic and good fun by the way) I asked myself if the engine start sound is really correct. The Trent XWB has this very distinctive growl when starting, very similar to the GE90. In my head, this should start exactly when the fuel flow starts and the combustion starts. In my sim, this sound starts much later, like five to ten seconds after the fuel flow starts and EGT rises. You can observe this behavior in many streams online as well. I started some research and looked for videos showing the startup. Unfortunately, there are not many showing the ECAM on startup. However, there is one I found, which is this…

The iniBuilds A350 is missing the continuously running hydraulic pump noise when the engines are running. It's not the flaps whine, but I can hear the hydraulic pump noise running faintly behind the flaps noise. I think it just applies to me, but then my headphones can hear the same running hyd noises from other youtube iniBuilds A350 videos and real life videos. I don't know what is wrong with my MSFS 2024 either, but when 1.1.8 was out it was fine, but then 1.1.9 and 1.2.0 didn't have those sounds anymore.

Dear iniBuilds, Lufthansa Airbus A350-1000 just arrived at gate 240 in EBBR Brussels National. Gate 240 is not labelled. None of the gates at this side of apron 2 are labelled. Other gates are correctly labelled. This incomplete labeling occurs in every flight. Kind regards, Ludwig

On a bright note first, the slats sound really good now. Now for the criticism: 1) The new v1.1.9 engine spool-up sounds completely off. I am not referring to the growl. I am referring to the other whistle sound. It sounds too high at a lower n1 value. You can compare the current sounds to this video. 2) The growl could be a little more pronounced on the ground and in general. Example at 5:28 3) Leading up to the final 'thud' on rotation, you can hear multiple 'thuds' happening before that get louder and louder. Example at 5:59-6:02. 4) The final 'thud' upon rotation could be quite a bit louder. Example at 6:01. 5) When the gear is being retracted…

Hello! The new callouts with the 1.9 update sound a bit off and they feel like bad quality. I don’t know if that’s how it should be but it seems a bit strange to me to be honest. Especially the “100 Above and Minimums” callouts sound different to all the other callouts. Please let me know…

Hi Team, Since V1.1.7 and the sounds update, the flaps sounds are too loud within the flight deck upon referring to a few cockpit videos of the A350. Can this please be looked into as it feels these sounds currently are from over the wing. Thanks, Wisam

Just performing my first flight with the A350 since the recent sound overhaul. One thing im noticing is that the sound of the engines in the cockpit isn't getting quieter with altitude. Just reached 40,000 feet, and the engines sound just as clear as they did at 10,000 feet. The effect of the engines getting quieter at altitude was far clearer in the previous version. Same with wind noise. If it's more realistic this way, I stand corrected. Im using FS2020.

In real life, and watching reference videos you don't hear the high pitch hydraulic sound when the flaps deploy. I only found one video where you do, however its so so quiet in the background you can barely even hear it https://streamable.com/uumbnt

I fly with noise cancelling on (EFB option) and I don't hear the flap sounds even in the cabin. Definately a bug.

Like the title states I've observed that the volume of the engine 1 is noticably higher than that of engine 2 throughout all phases of flight.

Hi, as the title mentions. Are there any plans to include chinese cabin announcements? There are so many chinese A350 operators. Regards

Hi team, First of all, amazing work on the A350 — it’s genuinely one of the best aircraft in the sim and a real pleasure to fly. The modelling, systems and overall immersion are top-notch. I just wanted to give a small piece of feedback regarding the flap sounds in the air. Compared to real-life recordings, the flap movement sound seems a bit distorted when deployed in flight. On the ground it sounds great — it’s mainly in the air where it feels slightly off. Not a big issue at all, but thought I’d mention it in case it helps with future updates. Thanks again for an excellent aircraft and for the hard work you put into it! in this video if yo…

Not a fan of the new sounds after the update. One of the most iconic things about the A350, is the deep GROWL you hear on takeoff, the original sounds for the engines weren't too bad, but after the most recent update, they've been nerfed down to more of a whiney snore at best. Why? I don't understand the logic behind making the sounds worse Apart from that, the flaps sounds are the loudest thing on the plane, even in full thrust climb you can hear the flaps retract as if you've shoved your head inside the wing. Reverser sounds are seemingly nonexistent. APU sound is mid at best. The rattling sounds during takeoff are nowhere near as good as they were before. …

Please can you fix the following issues. 1. The Flap sounds in cockpit are like you are sitting in the mechanism..crazy loud. 2. The mid range sounds of the engines Descending from cruise altitude ( flight idle) has an absolutely deafening roar…. I have to turn the volume down on my speakers. You shouldn’t be able to hear any of the engines whatsoever from the cruise. Just a low rumble. Thanks

Hi! I noticed there's several "clunks" heard from presumably the avionics bay of APU related contactors switching when doing an APU start on batteries, as noted in this video. I think it would be nice to add these! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5F1EKtDFjIE

Hi everyone, thanks for the latest sound updates. I like a lot of the improvments, however some issues sneaked in on the external pack sounds. First of all, the sound seems to originate from the nose gear area, and not from the wing box where the packs are located. Secondly, when turning the packs on or off, the sound doesn't smoothly fade in or out, but increases/decreases abruptly in about 5 increments. Can you take a look at this? Cheers!

I've noticed that the volume of the engines, flaps and wind from the flight deck can phase in and out depending on if you speak to ATC or switch to external view and back again. This happens on the SU3 stable release as well as the current SU4 beta. I suspect this may in fact be a sim problem rather than the aircraft though.

Hello, Seems like the latest update to the sound ( understand to be one aspect being updated as part of 1.1.7) is a mess! I have tried reinstalling, checking for any change to sound setting in msfs 2024 without any luck... Basically there's no more reverse engine sound in external view or cabin interior view. Its way too quiet now compared to last version - sound missing? Is this an improvement or downgrade in the sounds of a350? The sounds are critical for proper immersion, so appreciate inibuilds to investigate and implement fix. YouTube link (real a350 where reverse thrust is clearly heard and much noisier) [4K HEAVY BRAKING Landing] Singapore Airlines Airbus…

In real life, behind the wing you only hear the rush of air from the engine, you don't hear the buzzsaw at all. In this 1.1.7 version, you can hear the buzzsaw from the cabin behind the wing. In addition, if I'm in the cabin in front of the engine, I hear the flap motor sound in the ear that is closer to the cockpit which makes it sound like the motor originates from the cockpit. Finally, the spool up sound is underwhelming. In real life, when fuel is added to the engine, there is a "GE90 like startup" where the sound gets a lot louder. The Mango A350 soundpack in xplane got it correct.

Hello. Thank you for all your hard work this amazing aircraft. It is an amazing product. I have a problem/critique with the current state of the engine sounds during takeoff. When advancing the thrust from from 25% to FLEX or TOGA, the engine sound seems to jump and does not represent the linear increase in engine power. This jump occurs at approximately 50% power and is a noticeable change in pitch rather than a linear change as the engine accelerates. Also, although the underlying whine of the engine at takeoff thrust appears to change depending on the FLEX setting used, the roar of the engine seems identical, while it should also vary in intensity depending on eng…

Thank you for adding the 90-60 sound in the recent update. I have added the new 70,60 and always feel uncomfortable when landing as it is obviously different from the actual A350 sound. The Retard sounds seem to be a bit different as well. I have lined up all the sounds in the video. Obviously the 90,80,70,60 and Retard sounds seem to be different. The rest of the sounds seem to be perfect. Please fix this in an update. GPWS.mp4

Like the title states the "100 above" and "minimum" callout overlap with GPWS altitude callouts. In the irl. aircraft this is obviously not the case, with the callouts being played in close sequence if applicable.
