  1. Hi, as the title suggests, it seems like sounds from engine 2 are missing/not working correctly. Here is a video showing what I mean - listen to the audio and watch the commanded thrust: https://streamable.com/14u89l This is on 2024 SU5 beta, v1.2.3 Thanks!

  2. Started by Ma Kai,

Compared with previous versions, the flap sound is too low and gets covered by engine noise and other background sounds, making it hard to hear clearly. Please increase its volume to make the flap sound louder and more distinct.

  3. Hi everyone, I've been really enjoying the A350 in MSFS 2024, but I've run into a persistent audio issue during my approaches. I am getting a very odd, unnatural sound playing exclusively when the landing gear is extended. It sounds more like an audio glitch or a looping artifact rather than the expected wind drag or mechanical noise. To troubleshoot on my end, I have tried isolating the audio. By using the simulator's internal "Headphone Simulation" setting on and off. The strange gear-down sound persists regardless of the configuration, while the rest of the cockpit audio (engines, avionics, etc.) sounds perfectly fine. Has anyone else noticed this specif…

  4. Started by Bigt,

The other reverser topic got locked so I'm starting this one. Much like the engine roar during cruise mentioned in another topic, can the sound level of the reversers be looked at again? They are pretty quiet even at max reverse which does not seem correct, especially when seated at and/or in front of the engines. I am including a video here an A350 arrival into Perth and you can hear the difference. There is a loud rushing wind noise from the reversers just after touch down and that is from a vantage point BEHIND the wing. It would be louder at or front of the engines themselves. So can could this please be looked at and the volume increased? I realize it is small detail…

  5. Hello, Just wanted to drop some feedback on the A350 . Overall, it’s an absolutely fantastic aircraft and you’ve clearly put a huge amount of work into it. One small thing I noticed after the recent sound update: during takeoff, especially if you advance the throttles fairly quickly from idle to FLEX or TOGA, the engine spool-up doesn’t quite have that powerful, rising surge you’d expect. It feels a bit too smooth/flat compared to the real-world “kick” or intensity you normally hear and feel during that phase. What stood out to me is that before the recent sound update, that stronger spool-up effect was definitely there you could really feel and hear the en…

  6. In the updated version the sounds for slats and Flaps 3 is almost muted now in the cockpit. I don’t know how realistic they were in the previous version, but I preferred being able to clearly hear 1+F and Flaps 3 deployment and retraction.

  7. Hi all, First of all, I just want to say that the A350-900 is an outstanding product overall. The level of detail, systems depth, and overall experience is genuinely impressive — easily one of the best aircraft available for MSFS right now. However, I wanted to highlight an issue I’ve noticed regarding the engine sound during cruise. At cruise altitude, there is still a very noticeable engine “roar” both in the cockpit and in the cabin. This is especially noticeable when seated over or near the wing. From my understanding (and real-world references), the A350 is known for being extremely quiet during cruise, with minimal engine noise — certainly not a conti…

  8. It would be a problem because of the livery, but I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, and it's no longer selectable. It only works with the 1000 series. I also uninstalled the cabin and all A350-related apps in the app data folder. Can anyone help?

  9. Started by MR.TX,

Since the update to version 1.2.3 there have been some weird issues when it comes to the 3D sound fading of the slat sounds in the cockpit. Before this version the slat sounds were clearly audible in the cockpit, with the Flap sounds being rather muffled (i.e realistic). As of update 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 the slat sounds are inaudible when positioning the camera in the captains or first officer seat. Yet when you move the camera near the glare shield the slat sounds suddenly pop in. Here is a video demonstrating this weird bug. (sorry for the low res due to file size restrictions) 0322.mp4

  10. Started by Transair,

I reckon Inibuilds have now nailed the thrust reduction sound from TOGA to CL power. But could the reverser sounds be looked at again? To me, they sound like a roll of instantaneous thunder, instead of an increasing whine/air noise. It would be great if that could be re-looked at...thks

  11. Started by OnAirSim,

Hello, First of all the 09,80,70 callouts are back, nice!. But. The callouts sound horrible to be honest, even more than they did since the last update. There are now three different voices of callouts, "Retard", "2500-100" and "90-5" sound completely different. Very unprofessional and disappointing... I was really happy when I saw the update but now im really, really upset. They sound like recorded on a toaster miles away. I dont want to disrepect anyone in the team but the sound team really should think about what they have done... Regards OnAirSIm

  12. I understand the people complaining about the RA callouts quality, that wasn't good either but once again the tonality is all wrong The inibuilds sound team have once again stripped the callouts from those videos online of all the alerts and stuff, and they are mostly incorrect. Boris has made that mistake before, would be nice if inibuilds ever has to gather more references (not from a simulator) and record the loudspeaker with the ambience A minor thing to complain about, but here we are.

twitch_1771498575303.mp4 Hi all, Since the last update 1.2.1 my cockpit callouts are almost inaudible, prior to this update i had no problem at all, i didn't even have to pull PA knob to hear them. Now not even pulling PA button with full volume, my headphones noise cancelling is always off and i didn't change any configuration on the sim, i can clearly hear the retard callout as always but not the rest, can anyone help me on this? is ruining my experience (besides lighting is nor working either) thank you all in advance.

There's this mysterious switch clicking sound every time I fly. I need help figuring out what it is and how to fix it. Things I've tried: Installed the latest version Restarted both my computer and flight sim Removed all toggle switch key bindings on my Bravo Throttle Quadrant Start the flight at both the gate/ramp in cold & dark, and start the flight at the start of a runway The clicking sound doesn't go away no matter what stage of flight.

  15. After updating my innibuilds a350 1000 on xbox my interior engine sounds are much quieter then they should be as ground sounds and the flaps are much louder I have the same issue with cabin announcements. the issue is much worse when the engine is spooling. I have my engine and master volume to max and the other at the recommended settings and I don't have noise canceling headphones active. (not a sound issue but my engines done spin when im on the ground this is only visual though). Please let me know if you guys have the same issue and if there is a fix thank you.

  16. Started by Sdwr87,

I've not been able to find anything about this one the forum. So I could be wrong but here I go: The startup sounds do not appear to be synchronised with the actual engine behaviour. That is - the EGT starts rising well before you actually hear the engines fire up. I'm not a real A350 pilot but I assume that when you hear the moment the engine growls to life that that is the point at which ignition occurs and the EGT rapidly starts to climb? But as mentioned the EGT shows ignitions happening well before audio of the moment kicks in. Kinda kills the immersion when the indications do not match what we're hearing. And it's a pretty iconic moment in these kinds of a…

As the title says, flying the approach extend flaps 1 and you hear them. For some reason 1+F automatically comes out when the speed drops enough. Correct me if I’m wrong as could be A350 specific but these should only be for takeoff and shouldn’t extend to this settings? But then you select flaps 2 and silence while they extend which doesn’t seem right And then flaps 3 and flaps full you hear them again.

  18. Hello, I am on Xbox Series X and despite the latest updates to the iniBuilds A350, I am still experiencing several major sound issues: No flap sounds at all, neither in the cockpit nor in the passenger cabin, both on the ground and in flight, even though all sound settings are set to maximum. No engine sound during taxi thrust and takeoff, again in both the cockpit and the cabin. I can sometimes hear the ground rolling noise, but only if both Ground Surface Volume and Low Frequency Gain are set to maximum. Under normal behavior, only Ground Surface Volume should be required. Cabin announcements: they were already barely audible in previous ve…

  19. Hello, I play on Xbox Series X, and when I request the stairs to be deployed for doors 1, 2, and 4 via the EFB, the doors open but the stairs do not appear. Is this a known issue among Xbox players? Thank you.

  20. Started by aj_chugh,

I wanted to report a potential issue or seek clarification regarding the cabin announcement system on the A350. I’ve noticed that while the audio quality is fine, the cabin announcements themselves seem inconsistent in how and when they trigger. Some announcements occur reliably, while others only trigger occasionally or seemingly at random, and there appear to be announcements that I may have never heard at all. This has led me to wonder whether certain announcements are not triggering correctly, whether they are tied to specific aircraft states, phases of flight, or pilot actions, or if some level of randomness is intentional. For reference, there are only two announcem…

  21. Started by Hitachi,

I believe sound improvements are underway, but I really hope you'll make the gear operation sounds more realistic. This volume level is a defining characteristic of the A350. First, here's a reference sound for gear up. Next, here's a reference sound for gear down. The volume should be increased to the point where you might mistake it for a bug. Those who dislike loud sounds can simply adjust it in the settings. I just want the sounds to match reality. By the way, the timing for playing the gear drop sound during rotation is off again. I thought it was fixed for a while, but it's back to the original...

  22. I'm not getting any transmition from my VHF 1 or 2 in a350 even though Vpilot sees the frequency I set in aircraft. My VHF knobs are pulled out and I turned the volume to max. I can see that people are talking on frequency (RX light is blue in Vpilot) but I can't hear them. I have tried using different airbus aircraft from different developer company and it worked fine.

  23. Started by Airbusfahrer,

Hey there, ever since owning this aircraft (which is fantastic and good fun by the way) I asked myself if the engine start sound is really correct. The Trent XWB has this very distinctive growl when starting, very similar to the GE90. In my head, this should start exactly when the fuel flow starts and the combustion starts. In my sim, this sound starts much later, like five to ten seconds after the fuel flow starts and EGT rises. You can observe this behavior in many streams online as well. I started some research and looked for videos showing the startup. Unfortunately, there are not many showing the ECAM on startup. However, there is one I found, which is this…

  24. The iniBuilds A350 is missing the continuously running hydraulic pump noise when the engines are running. It's not the flaps whine, but I can hear the hydraulic pump noise running faintly behind the flaps noise. I think it just applies to me, but then my headphones can hear the same running hyd noises from other youtube iniBuilds A350 videos and real life videos. I don't know what is wrong with my MSFS 2024 either, but when 1.1.8 was out it was fine, but then 1.1.9 and 1.2.0 didn't have those sounds anymore.
