April 4Apr 4 I have noticed over several flights that when performing an ILS approach the Autopilot does not maintain an accurate course and glideslope and i have to disconnect the ILS and then re-engage. Not sure if this is a known issue. Also how do I correctly activate a CAT 3 Autoland ? I have tuned both Autopilot 1 and 2 with the correct ILS frequency/Course and when the plane is in landing configuration and established I have then activate autopilot 2. I must be missing a step as i cant make the autoland work...... Any guidance would be appreciated...........

April 4Apr 4 Author Thank you for an amazing plane........looking forward to the next update.......... So am i correct to assume that for now the CAT 3 Autoland feature is not yet implemented ?
April 4Apr 4 Also having difficulty executing an ILS/Autoland. Finding that the Autothrottle will wind down below 245 kts but the speed doesn't drop below 245 kts, & if I start easing out the flaps, aircraft goes nose down rather than hold the glide slope. Using the Garmin GNS530. ARR2

Tried an ILS last night and it plain refused to even recognise the LOC signal. I've not yet managed a successful capture of either element regardless of how I approach from the STAR. How could something as required as this pass testing?
April 5Apr 5 Same for me! have to hand fly her now. LOC/ILS will not capture. Just flies by when it should have been captured. Looking forward to the update!
April 9Apr 9 First flight with v1.01. Approach CYVR 26L LOC button captures glideslope heading. So far so good but it already did that in v1.00. Then glideslope needle reaches center of horizon, I switch the buttons from LOC to ILS button to capture ILS. Aircraft does not descend to follow the ILS slope. So had to fly manually to land again. What should the fix for ILS in the v1.01 update do? Something is not right with the ILS.
April 14Apr 14 I flew it into CYVR the other day and it picked up the LOC and ILS 26R with no issue in v1.0.1. I didn't wait until the glideslope indicator reached the centre however, I armed ILS as soon as the pointer was moving down the vertical guide.
April 14Apr 14 Done two flights today and neither did the plane capture the ILS, Heathrow to Malta and back.

Once you're cleared the approach, you just put it in ILS mode. There's no need to put it in LOC before, it's redundant.
April 17Apr 17 Make sure you switch from INS/GPS mode to Radio mode - Localiser and ILS will not work otherwise - I too however have had issues with the Autoland configuration. I know that its a fail pass system that needs to have everything done in order for it to activate but I'm not sure what those things are. Fully configured with VRef set, flaps 33, gear down, autobrake med, both navrads tuned to the ils and courses set, both CMD active and GS intercepted from below, yet I still cant make the ** thing work Hope that helps some of you at least with the ILS/LOC issue, but Autoland seems kaput
