April 2Apr 2 Hello everyone, I have the problem that whenever I want to use the Thrustmanagement mode to climb, it shows the EPR 000 and the engines spool down. I have set everything up correctly including both PMS, have already played around with switching of probe Heat, and many more things. I would be really glad if anyone had a solution or at least knows if this is a bug or I’m missing something systemwise. kind regards Elias!
April 2Apr 2 You have to fill in all the required parameters in the first 4 pages or so like BOD distance etc. Happened to me as well until I figured it out

Side note I have my airplane set to KG in the PFB do I still need to put LBS into the PMS? I have been putting KG into it. Edited April 2Apr 2 by mph163
April 3Apr 3 Did you need to engage the autopilot itself or just set a pitch mode on the panel? I found that mine would engage correctly as long as I had some pitch mode engaged. But still, it's supposed to be completely independent, isn't it?

No I had to engage the autopilot itself (move one of the paddle switches) in order for the TM function to work properly!
April 3Apr 3 I just checked and it doesn't matter what units I enter. TM mode gives 000 until I engage the autopilot. I have seen the same behaviour on several people's videos and streams as well. I wonder whether the team can confirm whether this issue has been logged.
April 3Apr 3 Hi, this is gonna be a really weird ask, when this is happening to you, is the CLB Page on the PMS open when this issue is happening?

April 3Apr 3 We have an issue logged with this occurring with the CLB page open, I'll add notes that this is occurring with other pages open as well.
April 14Apr 14 (1.02) Seeing the same here. All the PMS data is filled and yet it shows 000 and retards throttles as soon as I try to engage TM after TO. Until I engage AP - then, TM goes to climb EPR instead of 000. Edited April 14Apr 14 by Genista
April 15Apr 15 On V1.03.. I have noticed on departure that the EPR changes in TM when you switch between PMS pages, primaily the CLB page giving a really low EPR. Windows11Pro, Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KF, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060Ti, 64GB RAM.

Also - when you choose TM after takeoff does the lower window show AOA? If you are too slow AOA will ignore any EPR or speed settings. April 16Apr 16 Yep to both. GMT and weight updated right before TO. If I engage TM with AP off: With AP ON:
April 22Apr 22 There is clearly some logical linkage in the code between the autopilot state and the autothrottle logic. My understanding is that the two are not mutually dependent in the real aircraft, so even if you CAN get the correct EPR value with the AP on, that shouldn't be a necessary step.
