When can we expect the next update resolving all the outstanding issues?

Hi Jamir. Don't ask me what I did but I have it working again. Thanks a lot for all your help. Appreciated.

I'm afraid that did not work!

I am using the premium FS 2024 version of the A300-600r. I can only get LIDO charts to display in the EFB. I have selected navigraph charts in the options section. However, they do not display. I have reset my navigraph account details and then logged in. The navigraph logo appears for a second and then immediately they revert to LIDO. This also happens in the A340 and A350. What is the problem? I have a valid navigraph account and the AIRAC cycle is up to date. Please advise. Thanks

Just to be clear - Table 1506 is still alive and well in FS2024 - no longer a table but a lot list of numbers in file "engines".cfg
  6. Totally agree. In a climb there should be a gradual and steady decrease in the vertical speed. This one behaves like a yo-yo!

Thanks Mike. Much appreciated. I trust this is for the -500 version.

I was expecting the N1 cruise values to be corrected in v.08 but alas no. I did open a support ticket regarding this matter - is the team still looking in to this? There is absolutely NO WAY this plane cruises with an N1 value of only 75%. I have seen photos and a video where the N1 value is around 84 - 86%. I sincerely trust this matter is still being looked into.
  10. Hi Robert. I sent you a PM. Please look at it. Thanks - Trevor

When will the Tristar become available in the Inimanager app for updates?
  12. Assuming your programming IS correct, then should you not tone down the figures of the thrust settings in the configuration file. To climb to FL 350 at MTOW with a residual vertical speed of about 1000 fpm at CL2 seems way off. AT weights of 475 000lb, the N1 cruise value @ M.84 should be in the 80's (80-85%) and NOT in the 70's. Is it not possible to choose between CL 1 and CL2 and select only 1 (eg,CL2 for the whole climb)?
  13. Quoting you above "The way its modelled now is it will try to use calculated CL2 table values for your weight, temperature and altitude ranges. If outside the tabled parameters, it will instead use the calculated CL1 values for your current weight, temperature and altitude. It will transition back to CL2 if within tabled parameters at the next update point." Are you 100% sure this is correct?
  14. You guys are still not getting it correct. In Version 1.0.6 the EPR begins to steadily increase in the climb and then drops sharply and once again begins to increase. This is NOT how the real plane behaved. Once CLB thrust is set, there should be a gradual and steady increase in the EPR (not up and down). Firstly do you have access to L1011-500 performance manuals? This is important - I only have access to -100 manuals (different engines). You need to get the EPR values correctly entered into your mathematical programming (taking temperature and altitude into account). Then the EPR and N1 values need to be synchronized. Then, and only then, do you begin adjusting the thrust numbers in the configuration file. Please don't take my remarks the wrong way - I am only trying to help. I modified the Captain Sim L1011 .air file some years ago to get the thrust settings as close to correct as possible. There must be a smooth and steady increase in EPR - not jumpy. The cruise N1 values are also lower than they should be. I will later attach a photo of the real plane in a FL350 cruise so you can see the engine readouts. I understand that weather and gross weight will affect these values somewhat.
  15. No it isn't. The whole take off and climb phase is incorrect - I have raised the issue and apparently they are working on it. This plane was a slow climber like the 747-100/200.

Is climb power still being looked into because this plane still (1.0.5) has too much power and the EPR and N1 synching needs to be corrected.
  17. I have noticed that once at a high altitude, the N1 digital reading and "needle" readings are different. The numbers indicate 94% (which I believe is correct) but the "needle" is indicating over 100%/ - out of sync

3 - fuel and weight at FL 350 4 - crz at FL350 - N1 reading 81% - at this weight at M0.83 it should be at about 85% N1 5 - I really can't see how at MTOW this plane can comfortably reach FL350 The VS often would go down to 500 - 1000 fpm at heavy weights. Please check this with someone who has flown the real -500

    Here are some pics from v1.0.3 1 - At 23 800' and climbing at 2000' fpm - this was at a TOW of 505 000lbs (basically MTOW) 2 - At 33 800' climbing at 1400'fpm at M0.82
  20. I/ve tried streaming and installed - problem still there. It appears to be a hit and miss situation with me!

Could the team please offer the ability to derate take-offs and climbs with calculations in the EFB. Would be much appreciated - thanks.
  22. This is happening too early. Change should be at M.82 but it already noses down at .78. Maybe already mentioned but I couldn't find anything

Any comment/feedback from inibuilds regarding this matter?

Just did a flight from London Heathrow to Teheran. In the climb the vertical speed stayed around 1 500' per minute. I was NOT in vertical speed mode. Was using PM and VNAV. This plane should climb at about 2500' + down to about 700' per minute as it gets higher. It should NOT stay at a constant VS. It appears the thrust/power management in the .air file needs some adjusting. Can you please look into this matter - thanks.
