I recently purchased GSX Pro. I'm currently in the process of setting up the IniBuilds KLAX by positioning their ground vehicles where I want them. It's been a frustrating experience, owing to the amount of clutter on the right side of aircraft, particularly at small parking spaces.

As you know, whether it's the stock AI or GSX, the baggage train and loaders need to access the starboard (right) side of the aircraft to reach the cargo doors. There is so much clutter in most parking spaces that there isn't a space left to park AI vehicles or a path for the vehicles to reach the cargo door without ghosting through the clutter. It definitely hurts the immersion experience. Plus, you sometimes end up with 6 or more loaders at a small parking space once you add in the AI loaders that are operational. It just doesn't look realistic.

Would love to see a lot of the clutter on the right side of KLAX parking spaces removed so as to create a clear path to load/unload cargo. Stairs on the port side are not so much of an issue, as you will default to the jetways when available and rear stairs would only normally be used by cleaning crews. I would also thing a bit less junk to render would be a plus on the performance side for those of us who can't afford multi thousand-dollar computers.

It's a beautiful model of KLAX though. The model by FeelThere isn't bad (and less clutter). But I prefer the IniBuilds KLAX, especially the cargo area which has been overlooked in the other versions. Cleaning this up some would make it perfect.

    Heya!

As I said on your other post about the same topic..

If you purchased KLAX in our ecosystem, you can disable all of the ground clutter / GSE with the iniManager.

And just as a note so you don't do more work than needed, there are already profiles for KLAX to be found on flightsim.to

  2. Heya!

Is your photogrammetry turned on? Does the issue also persist if you get closer to the area with the problem?

Also did you maybe have another DTW scenery installed / currently have another one installed?

@gumbyger Thanks, I already have the GSX Pro. The PHNL GSX Profile v1.3 sounded like it was a different scenery addon for the airport.  I've seen some where when boarding and un-boarding the people actually walk into the terminal which is pretty cool.

As far as the scenery, I did have a free one for PHNL from flightsim.to and the first thing I did was delete that folder from the community folder.  What is interesting is I removed all the folders except the inibuilds PHNL and they were still there.  I put all the folders back in the community and uninstalled PHNL to the default Microsoft airport and although the airport was terrible the trash cans and bus stop were gone.  After reinstalling, the phantom cans and bus stops were back.  This is very strange.  I have several inibuilds airport addons and love the details.  This is the first and only one I've had and issue with.

Yes, the profile we deliver with the airport will have those walking people! You'll need to copy the two files into /AppData/Roaming/virtuali/GSX/MSFS and it should work when using GSX (at the A Terminal)

What would be interesting for me to know.. if you uninstall our product and reinstall the free one from fs.to, do you also have the trashcans/busstops?

Another question, I noticed a PHNL GSX Profile v1.3 in the changelog.  What is that and do I have that when I purchased the addon?

This is a config file for GSX Pro. It adds a multitude of ground handling equipment to the sim. If you want to use it, you'll have to buy it here.

As for your problem.. Is there the possibility that you bought something on the marketplace that could place something there? If you did all the steps above there is no reason why those props would be there otherwise 😕

  5. Heya!

The airport doesn't feature Runway Centre Line lights or Taxiline lights in the real world as well.

Which buildings in specific are you talking about? Do you have any better reference for us to incoorporate it in a future update? 🙂

While I'm on this topic, I might as well ask: Will it be possible to port over these MS 2020 planes including inibuilds plane into 2024?  Will Microsoft be layering new planes on top of the original MS 2020 planes.  Hope someone develops an import tool.  The only thing I really have always hated about ugrading MSFS is having to say goodbye to the old stuff.

Microsoft said virtually all 2020 planes will be compatible with 2024 from the get go 🙂

Man, I wish I had these sorts of problems.  I have all of the issues above; however, not only are my displays not on and the overhead looks like it's in test mode, but the tablet pad various states of cold and dark and flight ready don't do anything at all.  I'm definitely running an old CPU, which is an i7 980x but geesh, I can only fly around blind.  Love the plane, but at this juncture it is completely unflyable.  I looked at Norton and Malwarebytes as I thought maybe one of those protection software ate a javascript guage or something, but that was not the case.  I tried the trim switch, I've tried just about everything.  Something is not either allowing it install properly, or build fully.  Hope there's a workaround.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your CPU doesn’t support AVX, which the A310 needs. So I am afraid the only solution for you would be a CPU upgrade 😕

  8. Sorry you feel this way, it's just some very basic error search. So many people don't tell us their whole specs/system/programs when opening a support thread, so it's easy to buff them out like this.

So it seems that you also can't install anything?

Please manually delete the iniManager folders from AppData/Local and AppData/Roaming, then download fresh from here and reinstall. If your issue still persists afterwards, please message here again with some more information. Thanks.

  9. Heya!

These are not our models, please make sure you don't have any other scenery installed that could interfer with it and if you had a Honululu scenery installed previously, please delete all .dat files inside your SceneryIndexs located here:

    Steam: C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\SceneryIndexes

    MS Store: C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SceneryIndexes

  10. As I already said above, we definitely aren't reluctant to fix it. We just can't internally reproduce it. All runways within the testing teams are without bumps. We are still investigating however and are hoping to find a fix soon.
