Back in January, George - the lead 3D artist at iniBuilds and Matt - from the internal team, set off on a research trip. We tried to keep things subtle on Instagram, but as always, many of you were way too quick with it. Before we’d even finished our visit, the guesses started coming in, and quite a few of you had it straight away. So it’s time to confirm what some of you figured out almost instantly - the airport we visited was Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (KPVD). Firstly, a huge thank you goes out to the incredible staff at the airport for helping to coordinate our visit, and to the FSExpo team for putting us in touch. With FSExpo just around the corner, it made perfect sense to work on a project that ties in so well with the event, and with so many of you flying into Providence this year, this one felt like the perfect fit! These site visits are extremely important to our workflow. They give us access to an abundance of resources, from close reference shots to unique behind the scenes areas that bring each airport to life in sim. George, a 6 year veteran in the industry, who has recently overseen the likes of London Heathrow Premium and Doha Hamad Premium found the whole experience of a site visit extremely beneficial. To have the ability to see the entirety of the airport up close - it really provided an overall feel for the airport and provided us with a rare opportunity to capture high-resolution photos and videos of the terminal, jetways, hangars, runways, GSE and all other elements that complete any airport. When collecting reference, we captured subjects from multiple angles, in different lighting conditions to cover all bases. Despite being the largest airport in Rhode Island, T.F. Green is impressively easy to navigate and offers a solid range of domestic destinations. It’s a great hub for simming, especially if you’re looking for some short-to-medium hauls across the US. We were met in the terminal by one of the airport operations staff who got us signed in for the tour. From the start, the ops team were brilliant, giving us a full walkthrough of the terminal layout, some fascinating history, and even insight into future development plans. We began in the check-in area, a compact, but efficient area, where over 4 million passengers were processed in 2024 alone. After gathering our shots there, we moved through security and into the terminal to start gathering more images of key areas like gate zones, advertising displays, stores and more! It’s always interesting to see the common design styles between US airports, but each one has its own unique character. At Providence, that’s immediately obvious in the art spread throughout the terminal. One standout piece is ‘Interval’ by Barbara Cooper, an 82 foot long, hand painted glass tile mosaic that adds some colour to the terminal. We’ve made sure to bring details like this into the scenery, because it’s those little things that really enhance the immersion. After documenting the terminal, we headed airside to continue the visit from the apron. ‘OPS 4’ was waiting for us, and we spent the next couple of hours exploring virtually every corner of the airfield. During the morning departures rush, the ramp was buzzing with activity. At one point it felt more like Heathrow than Providence, with aircraft pushing back all around us. We had to pause frequently to allow aircraft to push back, however whilst doing this it allowed us to get some great photos of the gate areas, ground service equipment and more! Throughout this airside drive around, we took pretty much every taxiway, saw most of the hangars, the fire station, the FedEx centre, the air traffic control tower and more! If it was accessible, we captured photos of it! With these references at hand, our incredibly talented team of 3D artists were able to recreate each subject with precision in both modelling and texturing. Aspects such as; the exact height of doors/windows, the amount of dirt, the amount of clutter, the colours, depth and roughness of each material, and the intensity of lighting. All factors which were all faithfully reproduced with the help of these references. Ensuring the scenery closely reflects the real-world airport, enhancing immersion. From the knowledge and experience of the airport operations team, we were able to include unique features of the airport which could have been missed. Some of these features include the graveyard to the south of R5, the painted lines testing strip to the west of R5, and the stripped down A220 that Breeze uses for spare parts. In these examples below, you can see how the reference images help the artists understand the smaller details that are required to correctly reflect the real-world counterpart. Such as; the departure screens and posters, the missing ‘I’ in the AVIS logo, the warning labels on fuel tankers, the glowing border of the TSA machines, the patterns of the floor and ceiling in the Sky Bridge, and the various amounts of art installations. There are dozens of examples in which the references had a direct impact on the output of the models, without the help of the team at KPVD, we would never have been able to achieve this level of accuracy! So for that, we want to give another big thank you to the team at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport for being so accommodating and making this visit possible. Also, a huge shoutout to the team of FSExpo for the support in organising the trip. These visits are a critical part of what we do, and it’s always a privilege to meet the people behind the scenes who keep these airports running every day. Here's some more screenshots to showcase how impressive the work from the team has been after utilising this trip and gaining such invaluable reference images! We also want to extend a thank you to the teams over at Go Providence, Rhode Island Convention Center and the Rhode Island Airport Corporation for helping various arrangements from the site visit, being the hosting venue of this years FSExpo and allowing us to house the event in their city this year! WATCH THE TRAILER We’re really excited to bring this one to life in sim, and we hope you enjoy flying in and out of Providence just as much as we enjoyed visiting it. iniBuilds Team ❤️

A350 Airliner V1.0.11 Update 🚀 This week’s update marks a significant step forward in realism, functionality, and overall immersion. We've carried out extensive overhauls and refinements across core systems whilst adding new features, bringing the simulation experience even closer than ever. We will cover these below but before we do, just to let folks know that we are close to wrapping up our Xbox testing and expect the Xbox version of the iniBuilds A350 to launch soon! This update can be downloaded via the iniManager. New Fly-by-wire features This week’s build adds the Auto De-Rotation system. The Auto De-Rotation system on the iniBuilds A350 is part of its advanced fly-by-wire logic designed to assist pilots during the landing phase—specifically after the main landing gear has touched down. This is an important system as it prevents hard nosewheel touchdowns by avoiding abrupt or excessive pitch changes by the pilot and improves landing consistency across different conditions and pilot techniques So how does it work in the simulator? The de-rotation law uses elevator input to lower the aircraft’s pitch at a controlled rate, helping to prevent a hard touchdown of the nose wheel. As soon as the main landing gear touches down, the fly-by-wire system takes over pitch management and commands a predefined pitch rate of 2 to 3 degrees per second. This ensures a smooth and consistent nose gear landing. Importantly, the pilot still retains authority and can override the law with manual input if needed. Enhanced GPS Jamming On the launch of the iniBuilds A350 we had a rudimentary system in place for GPS Jamming, which has now been overhauled. When an aircraft enters a region with GPS jamming, the satellite signals become degraded, blocked, or completely unavailable. This can impact: Navigation accuracy degradation – you must check your EPU on the POS report page to ensure you ability to conduct an RNAV approach. ADS-B reporting – you may experience TCAS anomalies. Position data for FMS (Flight Management System) – you may experience GNSS failures Modern aircraft like the 350 depend heavily on GPS for efficient and precise routing. While they have inertial reference systems (IRS) and backup navigation sources (like DME/DME or VOR), the loss of GPS can still limit functionality, trigger alerts, or force a switch to alternate navigation modes. On launch this was random and not geo-specific – where GPS jamming actually occurs in the world. Now this system is much more immersive and we have integrated live data for a much more realistic experience whereby you will experience GPS jamming based on where there is jamming in the real world. The regions are calculated using a system called H3 geo to convert latitude and longitude into hex cells on a map that correlate to aircraft reporting of GPS data in those areas over a 24hr period and dynamically updated so the jammed areas are always changing based on real world data. The system looks up data based on aircraft latitude and longitude every 5 minutes. The API responds with good, partial and bad aircraft reports. If all good, no jamming is active. If partial, a percentage of bad and good reports is used as a "chance" to be jammed for the checked period. In this instance you may experience jamming coming and going through areas where it’s reported. If all bad, the area is being fully jammed, and you will encounter GPS interference and related system failures. Cockpit Printer The printer is used for creating hard copy T.O data, F-PLN, METAR, Mailbox etc… This data is available in the OIS and FMS already but can be printed to cross check and reference. We use a combination of 3D model animations, and show/hide attachments to simulate the print process and placing the paper on the chart clip in the cockpit. The received data is sent to a template based on the item being printed and printed to the texture. The paper size is also dynamic depending on the data printed. For example, printing a METAR will not use as much paper as printing the F-PLN. In 2024, under certain lighting conditions, when at the gate, you may experience a temporary unexpected effect where the printed info is obscured. This is due to a core shader property that overrides the printed layer. This is known and should be resolved in a coming sim update. Planned Route API (MSFS2024 Only) It is now possible to send and receive the MSFS2024 integrated flight plan from the sim FMS and vice versa. The flight planning tool built into the core sim utilises official Lido navigation databases and real world submitted flight plans to provide accurate routes. This feature can now be used to populate your iniBuilds 350 FMS. The feature will also be used for feature updates that will introduce the MSFS2024 career mode. Condensation Effect A new effect to simulate condensation has been added. The aircraft is generating the effect on the cockpit windows using the difference between outside air temperature and simulated cabin temperature and builds or dissipates over time. It also takes into account the windshield heat status of the glass element to remove the condensation just like the real aircraft. You will see this in action, when you are sat cold and dark, in a low OAT region and will see the condensation build before engine start. Due to limitations in the FS2020 engine, this effect is exclusive to FS2024 New ECAMs As with each update, we have also added in a wide range of ECAM’s, the following ECAMs have been updated or added: [ABN] L/G LDG WITH ABNORM MAIN L/G, [ABN] L/G LDG WITH ABNORM NOSE L/G, L/G GEAR NOT LOCKED DOWN, L/G GEAR NOT LOCKED UP, L/G CTL 1+2 FAULT, L/G DOORS NOT CLOSED Due to a bug in FS24 the following are disabled via EFB trigger (we are working with Asobo on this bug and once resolved these will be in action): "NORMAL L MLDG FAULT" "ALTERNATE L MLDG FAULT" "NORMAL R MLDG FAULT" "ALTERNATE R MLDG FAULT" "NORMAL NOSE GEAR FAULT" "ALTERNATE NOSE GEAR FAULT" ____________________________________________________________ v1.0.11 Systems⚙️ FIXED: MFD approach: selecting via NONE displays [----] FIXED: Latched VDEV behaves like normal DES mode if the speed is reduced FIXED: FPLN erased during go around FIXED: After a 2nd go around the approach is no longer in the FPLN bug FIXED: Changing arrival runway but not inserting it still changes the drop down approach options FIXED: Duplicate UTC message in F-Plan FIXED: Activating ALTN doesn't clear original DEST data FIXED: MCDU-FLAN modification in SEC FIXED: EDDM 08L/R VNAV issue FIXED: OMDB, RIDAP 2F SID - min speed at DB570 is 180, but the max at DB585 is 220. A350 Airliner V1.0.9 Update 🚀 Version 1.09 has taken us some time to release as it’s a very significant update addressing and improving some core areas, whilst adding some larger new items. This update to the iniBuilds A350 Airliner, refining core systems while layering in new levels of visual and operational realism. This update can be downloaded via the iniManager. A major VNAV overhaul dramatically improves vertical profile adherence, constraint handling, and adds long-haul features like Constant Mach Segments (CMS), Continuous Descent Approach (CDA), and Estimated Take-off Time (ETT), giving pilots greater control and realism from departure to arrival. Flight handling also sees notable gains with updated yaw damping and rotation laws, improving crosswind performance and pitch behavior on takeoff. Beyond the systems, this update introduces dynamic icing and snow effects, GSX integration for de-icing, and hot brake disc visuals—all enhancing immersion across both FS20 and FS24. The ECAM system has been further expanded with dozens of new alerts spanning fuel, icing, braking, and thrust logic. On the audio side, hundreds of refinements improve cabin ambience, engine dynamics, touchdown feedback, and interactive controls—bringing the soundscape closer to the real aircraft. Under the hood, performance has been optimized by cleaning up and restructuring core code, reducing overhead and ensuring smoother operation, especially during high system load scenarios. Combined with fixes to autopilot behavior, FMS logic, ECAM alerts, ND rendering, and countless small interactions, v1.09 represents another leap forward in simulation depth and polish. VNAV We have completely overhauled the VNAV system. VNAV now better follows the calculated VNAV profile, not skipping height in turns, meeting speed limitations and arriving at altitude constraints correctly. In addition, we have added some new features in the FMS. Estimated Take-off Time (ETT). The ETT is the time reference used for flight plan predictions in the pre-flight phase. When the take-off phase is initiated the predictions transition to current aircraft time. Constant Mach Segment (CMS). allows the flight management system to maintain a specific Mach number between two waypoints, optimizing fuel efficiency during cruise. It's activated on the VERT REV page and requires entering the start waypoint, desired Mach number, and end waypoint. This feature is particularly useful for long-haul flights like Atlantic crossing following the NAT tracks. To utilize CMS, the pilot needs to enter the following information: Start Waypoint: The initial waypoint where the CMS segment begins. Desired Mach Number: The specific Mach number the aircraft should maintain within the segment. End Waypoint: The final waypoint where the CMS segment ends. Continuous Descent Approach (CDA). The CDA is designed to provide the flight crew with cues (Pseudo waypoints for Decel and Flaps) to decelerate the aircraft to be at VAPP at 1000 ft AGL in landing configuration. It helps optimize the descent phase by reducing level-off segments and using idle thrust whenever possible. Functionality: Computes a continuous descent profile. Provides pseudo-waypoints on the ND and F-PLN pages for flap extension, landing gear deployment, and deceleration. Prioritizes vertical profile guidance# Flight Model Yaw Damper: The yaw damper efficiency has been increased removing adverse yaw and improving roll handling characteristics further. The rudder area has also been increased to improve crosswind take-off and landing handling. Rotation Law: The pitch trim handler has been adjusted for better handling qualities during all phases of rotation. We have now eliminated the aggressive pitch up on stick release caused by keeping the side stick back pressure too long and adjusted the blend logic to change to a pitch rate. Stability and performance improvements With this update we also took the opportunity to streamline some areas of the code base and remove unnecessary or duplicate variables being used. This has resulted in a performance increase and smoother experience for our internal testing teams. Dynamic Icing and Snow Effects In FS20 and FS24, we have integrated icing effects that forms on the wings, fuselage and horizontal stabilizer which form either dynamically over time based on precipitation rate and type or can be manually incremented/decreased for visual effect via the EFB as a standalone implementation. Furthermore, if you use FSDreamTeam’s GSX add-on, the icing can be eliminated as part of the de-icing procedure on the ground when required. And exclusively for the FS24 version, there is a snow layer that forms over the aircraft when you spawn in at the gate in a cold and dark state and the weather conditions are met. This layer will dissolve over time as the aircraft is powered up from its cold and dark state leaving only the ice layer underneath. Hot Brake Disc Effects Under heavy braking during various scenarios, your brake temperature might reach a temperature of beyond 350 °C. In temperatures above this value, you’ll start to notice that the aircraft’s brake discs glow red-hot and begin to emit smoke depending on the ambient conditions and present aircraft movement. With the threat of another war looming, aircraft manufacturers were pushing the limits of what airplanes could do, from the engineering methods to the performance and of course, the designs. The Spartan aircraft company, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma took to the challenge and produced the stunning Spartan 7W Executive. Produced between 1937 and 1941, the Spartan was built for the elite of its time, serving businessmen and corporations alike. Of the 34 made, only 20 remain today, whilst less than half are still airworthy, the rest can be found in museums, restoration projects or in storage. What truly sets the Spartan 7W apart from its competitors is not just the rarity or luxury - rather the way it is the epitome of an entire era of aviation. The late 1930s was a time when air travel was just beginning to enter the realm of public functionality and access. For the wealthy few who could afford it, owning a plane like the Spartan meant being on the forefront of both technology and culture. The aircraft was and is a design that is viewed to be ahead of its time, setting the standard for what an executive aircraft could be, it went on to influence designs for years to come. Even today, it remains one of the most sought-after vintage aircraft for collectors and aviation enthusiasts alike. One of these enthusiasts is the proud owner and operator of Spartan NC 17634, Jim Savage. For nearly 18 years, Jim has cared for this incredible aircraft, ensuring it remains a living, flying testament to the craftsmanship of the Spartan Aircraft Company. Jim’s Spartan has been featured in aviation magazines and at major aviation events, becoming a symbol of his dedication to preserving the legacy of these remarkable machines. His insights were invaluable in the development of the iniBuilds Spartan 7W, ensuring every detail, from the design to the sound, remains faithful to the real thing. Jim has been a huge help in allowing this aircraft to come to life within the simulator, allowing us to conduct an extensive site visit to his hangar, capturing every last detail of his Spartan. Every inch of Jim’s aircraft was carefully documented, from the curves of the wings, to the craftsmanship of the interior. We knew that to capture the true spirit of this iconic aircraft, every detail had to be accurate. Therefore the team carefully studied the aircraft’s components, noting the unique combination of polished metals, vintage woodwork and beyond. However, visuals are only part of this aircraft, a large part of the Spartan 7W’s character comes from the roar of that radial engine, a marvel in its own right. To ensure authenticity, we used top-tier audio equipment to capture the raw, visceral sounds of the engine firing up, revving and beyond. Every sound and detail you see in sim is accurate to what we saw in real life, we’re extremely proud of the final product and are grateful to be given the opportunity to gather these references. Going deeper into the details, with Jim’s guidance, we were able to document the original instrumentation, allowing us to recreate both the authentic cockpit layout, as well as our own interpretation of a modern day retro-fitted cockpit and interior. Jim was able to share some invaluable insights into how the Spartan 7W handles in different flight conditions. His firsthand experience flying this rare machine helped us ensure that the flight model truly reflects the feel of the real thing. Our time at Jim’s hangar gave us a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and history of this incredible aircraft. It was more than just gathering data—it was about immersing ourselves in the world of the Spartan 7W. Every element we recorded, from its design to its sound, was carefully translated into the simulator, ensuring that when you fly it, you’re not just piloting a plane, you’re stepping into a living piece of aviation history. To make the Spartan 7W feel as real as possible, we teamed up with the experts at Echo 19 Audio Production. These guys are incredible at capturing the true sounds of real aircraft and bringing them into the world of flight simulation. With their help, we were able to record the raw, powerful roar of the Spartan’s Pratt & Whitney radial engine, from the startup to the steady hum of the propeller in flight. Echo 19’s attention to detail is unmatched—they went out of their way to make sure every sound you hear in the sim feels just like it would if you were standing next to the real thing. Whether it’s the engine firing up or the subtle whine as you cruise, everything has been captured with care and precision. We’re so lucky to have worked with them to bring this level of realism to the Spartan, letting you truly experience the sights and sounds of this classic aircraft as if you were right there in the cockpit. In addition to its authentic 1930s design, we’ve added some exciting modern touches - such as multiple cockpit variants and a luxurious cabin that fuses the 1930s with 2024. Want to customize your experience? The included iniBuilds EFB allows you to fine-tune your flight settings and tailor the aircraft to your style. Thanks to Jim Savage’s passion and expertise, Echo 19 Audio Production and the dedication from our team, we are proud to bring the Spartan 7W Executive to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, preserving this iconic aircraft for years to come. iniBuilds Team ❤️

Hello all! After a busy and exciting end to 2024, we started 2025 with an all new simulator, which opened the door to some amazing and new possibilities! At the tail end of 2024 we were able to release Brisbane airport, the first scenery exclusively released for FS2024. Since the release of Brisbane, we've subsequently released the completely remade London Heathrow Premium, as well as 5 MSFS24 Enhanced versions of some of our most popular destinations! 2025 continues the busy trend with a whole whole host of planned new releases and updates to look forward to. We've already seen the release of our remade Heathrow package has been very well received and extremely popular, which makes us so happy as this was a great project to work on! Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has allowed us to explore a whole new level of detail both in modelling and in ground accuracy which has vastly improved the immersion factor - we hope you've noticed a difference with these! One of the biggest challenges with MSFS24 has been the implementation of tighter controls over LOD vertex limits. Whilst this is an interesting hurdle to face, as it affects the visual quality you see, it definitely helps with performance, so we want to ensure we give you the best middle ground here! Working with the Microsoft throughout last year, definitely helped us diagnose some of these issues earlier on in our development cycles. Through this time, we used it to develop a workflow that adheres to the new limits much more closely than before. We're now fairly comfortable with these new limitations though there's always more to learn. The result is a better balance between quality and performance, even on lower end systems. Our personal favourite is the upgraded ground texture system. This allows a much higher level of fidelity and variance in ground surface types, legible markings and other features such as drains and access points. We had fun creating a series of custom textures for each airport project which you'll find in our upcoming releases! With the introduction of the new sim, we now have two quite distinct development streams - porting and new content. New content is fairly self explanatory but our enhanced airports are where things really start to get interesting! As you're all no doubt aware, our FS24 Enhanced airports are what we would once have referred to as a port but with the addition of several updates to make full use of the updated engine. For these projects, we start by completely updating the ground poly. This is not just a matter of rebuilding the old project but rather, every ground texture, line, marking and stencil is replaced with new custom textures. Then we add our new custom texture details. Next we review all the models to see what works and what doesn't. This involves updating light settings, reworking LODs and making changes to terraforming and vegetation - all of which have fundamentally changed in the new sim. Finally, we add any new features such as walkable meshes for interiors and passenger handling! The result is, effectively a new, native version of the airport which has been fully optimised. It's very satisfying to see the airport, particularly the ground, to be more as we intended it in the original iteration. So far; Palm Springs, Ibiza, Innsbruck, Johannesburg, Dubai & LAX have been given the enhanced treatment with even more in production at the moment! The future is with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and as such we will not be developing any more NEW airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. We will continue to support our current 2020 library. iniBuilds New York John F. Kennedy (KJFK) Enhanced for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Today we release our next Enhanced scenery product, the highly requested - New York John F. Kennedy for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024! We're so excited to bring you this one, with a brand new trailer showcasing it in all of its glory, be sure you check that out! As with our other enhanced scenery products - all of the items mentioned above have been addressed and fine tuned for this release. New York John F. Kennedy Enhanced takes full advantage of MSFS2024’s features — with completely overhauled custom ground textures, improved lighting, updated models, and enhanced terraforming and vegetation around the airport. Every taxiway, stand, and apron has been rebuilt to deliver a better and more immersive experience. Given JFK’s scale and complexity, we’ve also packed in a wide range of performance options within the scenery configurator, giving you the flexibility to optimise the airport to your system and achieve the best balance of visuals and performance. Price: £21.99* | £4.99* Upgrade price with code KJFK- UG *(EXCL VAT) Store Page: https://inibuilds.com/products/inibuilds-new-york-john-f-kennedy-kjfk-msfs-2024 Watch the trailer! What's in our pipeline? Again it's a busy time for us, with five projects currently being worked on, some of which you will all hear about very soon! We've got a big release schedule for the rest of 2025 and we're excited to gradually bring these to you. One of the most recent projects we announced, was our London Gatwick project, which has been slowly cooking in the background and we're excited to bring you a few more visuals from this scenery today! As with all of our projects, this one is very exciting for the team, however we're making sure it is as true to real life as possible, even working with current Gatwick staff - who have been providing some awesome references to the team! This project is moving into the final stages of the development cycle, which will include plenty of beta testing from our working group as well as the internal staff to make sure it is released in a great place! We also want to pre-apologise to the VATSIM UK team who will inevitably be inundated with traffic once it releases, we promise it's worth it... 😂 Once Gatwick is almost ready to release, as will most of our other sceneries, you'll start seeing some of your favourite streamers getting copies to stream and make content with, so be sure to keep an eye out for these! As you can see, the level of detail we're going won't disappoint - as always you can expect the standard iniBuilds features on this one, including an Official GSX Profile upon release, scenery configuration options and bespoke texture sets throughout! Now, moving onto our project after Gatwick... Which we want to announce today, drum roll please... Introducing, iniBuilds Doha-Hamad International Airport (OTHH) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024! We've been wanting to do this one for a while, however there's been lots of construction which has made it difficult to ensure we get it right. With this construction now getting to the point where we can accurately see what is being worked on, it has allowed us to get the references we need! This scenery will be sold as a premium product and will include those premium features you expect to see. We won't go into too much detail now - however it is coming along nicely, with the team outputting some impressive models on a daily basis! So we'll leave you with a few teasers which showcases some of the highlights from this scenery! We want to thank you for your ongoing support, as always it is amazing to receive the level of support that we do, it truly motivates us to continue putting out some great scenery products for Microsoft Flight Simulator! Our Easter sale is still ongoing with some great deals from both ourselves and over 40 vendors, with over 500+ products on offer, there's something for everyone. Be sure to check out our store today and see if something catches your eye, most deals end 2nd May! Thanks, iniBuilds Team ❤️

Key highlights include major improvements to the step climb logic for better long-haul performance, a comprehensive overhaul of ECAM systems and logic with realistic failure scenarios, and numerous fixes across art, sounds, and systems. As always, we've worked closely with real-world A350 experts to bring even more depth and authenticity to your experience. This update can be downloaded via the iniManager. Xbox Update: We are working very hard to prepare an Xbox build as soon as possible. We are currently going through testing and optimization so you can have the best experience possible. Step climbs We have expanded the step climb function as it was previously limited. Pilots can now enter an increased number of steps manually or via SimBrief import. Combined with the auto step climb feature fully optimum long-haul routes can be enjoyed with maximum virtual efficiency. Enhanced ECAM logic and additions The ELEC and FCTL ECAMs have had a huge overhaul with the assistance of one of our qualified A350 engineers. The failure states have been reviewed in detail and associated system failures and redundancies have been added where possible in the simulation. All failures can be triggered via the OIS which has also undergone a refresh in this regard with failure triggers being organised by ATA chapter. iniBuilds A300-600R Premium V1.0.3 Changelog Items 🚀 Hello! Last week we did some fixes to the windshield behaviour that were affecting users and updated our liveries available for download via iniManager. With over 60 NEW liveries available to download via the iniManager - you won’t be struggling for choice! Some of the latest liveries include; Delta, Air Afrique, Alitalia, Singapore and many more! We mentioned a larger update on the iniBuilds A300-600R Airliner, which is now available and we have some more information on what we have done below! This update can be downloaded via the iniManager. The gear suspension limits have been tweaked to give the classic nose down look of the A300 based on community feedback. The nose has been lowered by approximately 2-3 degrees boasting a more authentic rotation feel and improved ground handling. Added custom engine windmilling effect and re-tuned animation to better reflect start up movement. The "N1 windmill" refers to the unpowered rotation of the low-pressure turbine and fan in the engine due to airflow. The animation does vary with windspeed. One of the key elements of feedback on this project was performance so both systems and art have worked very hard to improve this. We have refactored code components based on insights gained from the A350 project to reduce WASM crashes and improve overall stability. On art side we have multiple optimizations to 3D models, visual effects, and animations that have been implemented in the plane, aimed at improving performance for CPU-limited users. Specifically, we have reduced the 3D model node count, optimized the overall skinned bone count, and introduced several lighting improvements—all without noticeably compromising visual fidelity. Many of these enhancements were informed by our work on our recently released A350 airliner, where minimal performance overhead required a rigorous approach to optimization from the outset. In testing, we’ve seen an improvement of 5-10 FPS for CPU limited users. One new feature is the standby compass! The standby compass system is a traditional, analogue compass that provides a backup for navigating the aircraft in case the main electronic navigation systems failure. It offers a reliable and non-electrical source of magnetic heading data and is fully modelled in the A300 to deploy from its stowed position located in the area above the centre pillar. We have also added a custom brake heat visual effect added to depict the transfer of energy during rapid decelerations to the brake discs. ____________________________________________________________ v1.0.3Systems & EFB ⚙️🖥️ Fixed – Numerous system crashes Fixed: Sim freeze when selecting LFRS - ILS Y RWY 03, Transition NEDAN for VALA1C Fixed: Sim freeze when selecting LSZH ILS 28 Fixed: Code crash when entering STAR with transition Fixed: Default key bindings "ON" / "OFF" not working for light switches Fixed: WASM, freeze when entering SEC F-PLN Fixed: ND Blue Alt arrow shown in HDG/S & V/S descent along with yellow banana Fixed: INIT B - TOGW is not affected by TAXI fuel change Fixed: C&D Spawn at Gate - Dome/Emergency Light on by default Fixed: Sim freezes returning to main menu Fixed: Rudder trim panel knob operation reversed Fixed: When doing walk around and manually open cowlings you can toggle covers back on and then they are clipping Fixed: Flickering Enroute Map Fixed: Can't click on door handles to get to walk around in F can in PAX Fixed: Engines windmilling in wind Fixed: AP Disconnect switch missing sound Fixed: Gear suspension limits tweaked for a more realistic aircraft stance on the nose gear. 3D Art 🎨🖌️ Added: Standby compass implemented Added: "Glowing" hot brake disc effects Fixed: Improved overall performance for CPU-limited users through animation optimizations, node count reductions and visual effect tweaks Fixed: PAX cabin low resolution textures at night Fixed: Main landing gear clipping into fuselage on retraction Fixed: Cockpit reflection in aft toilet mirror Fixed: Excessive reflections on glass after SU1 update Fixed: All Doors slightly detached between interior and exterior when opening/closing| Fixed: Click spots for pitch trim and yaw damper switches inaccurate Fixed: cabin model issue when seen through the outside Fixed: External lights flickering Fixed: APU maintenance door clipping/not animating as expected Fixed: Main landing gear Tires remain compressed when airborne Fixed: Forward cargo gap and bulk door clipping Fixed: Wing flex causing flap track fairings to clip into flaps Fixed: Seat switches not married to seat mesh Fixed: Improved FS2024 windshield rain effects iniBuilds Team ❤️
