March 21Mar 21 Morning all, Loaded up at EGLL today and i have now got texture-less cars in the carparks around the airport. I never had this issue up until installing the new city update 14 today, along with a few updates to the base content, city & world updates. Any ideas what's going on? March 21Mar 21 I've had the exact same issues.... Only with inibuilds Luton airport. Their scenery works fine at Heathrow or Stansted. I've tried troubleshooting it and doing various things for hours and nothing fixes it. I've emailed their support so if you find out what it was please share.

Odd, I'll have a look at EGGW & EGSS shortly, I did a quick check of EGCC after noticing it at EGLL and didn't see any issues there. I did a re-install of EGLL, and that didn't solve the issue (temporary fix is disabling vehicles in the ini manager), so there's missing textures / broken pathway to them with the latest round of updates to the core content, world & city updates. March 21Mar 21 What was the path you followed to disable the vehicles in the ini manager, I'll have to do that for now too... yes Its obviously some sort of misalignment with the base game and the add on ands its frustrating trying to solve

Go to the ini manager > My Products > (select the scenery) > Uncheck the 'static cars' tab. My other ini sceneries are unaffected (EGCC, EGSS, EGKK & OTHH) Edited March 21Mar 21 by Liamr685

Maybe worth clearing out the cache and scenery indexes Yeah the issue appears to be random, I personally have speculations that users have downloaded either many different model packs or some other thing for ground traffic that it corrupted; only thing is that doesn't account for the Xbox users who don't have to option to proliferate their community folder with addons and forget to update them for months if not years.
March 25Mar 25 The only difference for me is that i downloaded the latest city update but after that it worked great until today.

Hi, i can now confirm that the problem of pink cars only happens at my purchased INI airports ie, EGLL,EGGW, and EGSS. all my other payware and freeware airports are working as they should. i have tried enabling, disabling uninstall etc,etc but no joy. i will do the disable cars in the program until either i or ini finds a fix.

March 29Mar 29 This has been an issues for Xbox users this year. KDFW has had pink textures since release day, none of the updates pushed out have fixed the issue, something in the way the are packaged for Marketplace then unpacked by the console. Any updated world object updates/paths for texture files added by Microsoft would also corrupt these. Seems to be some kind of double-reading by the sim or a missing line of text in some texture files to match the new paths where the files actually are.

Maybe worth clearing out the cache and scenery indexes Have you got all world and city updates claimed through marketplace, then downloaded and installed instead of streamed? I have all core content downloaded apart from all default aircraft. i have all city and world updates downloaded too, excluding the included asobo Heathrow and Stansted sceneries which I have disabled to avoid clashes with the ini scenery. as my account in 24 was used in 2020, all available 2020 content that could be ‘activated’ in 2024 (previous city and world updates) has been downloaded too. as I’ve mentioned, I haven’t changed a single thing in terms of third party content. i went to marketplace, claimed the latest city update, downloaded and installed it. after that, I downloaded and installed the available updates to the core content and some of the previous city and world updates. loaded up at Heathrow and yeah…pink cars, which wasn’t the case prior. I have all the updates, but they are all streamed. I've also disabled the stock airports that would clash with the ini addons. I use Addon Linker and only load the airports that I'm curently using for that particular flight. I also had the premium 2020 so have that content available, but not downloaded. So, the only things that are physically downloaded and in my community folder when I'm playing are the airports I will be using for a particular flight, the aircraft that I will be flying, Justflight Fstraffic and GSX Pro.

April 4Apr 4 Did some testing and issue is still there with: 1. empty community folder apart from inibuilds Heathrow 2. empty scenery index folder 3. shader cache and rolling cache cleared this issue is also affecting inibuilds cape town too to my knowledge but I didnt do a specific test for cape town like this yet
April 9Apr 9 UPDATE: For anyone interested I have managed to resolve the pink texture issue but what I had to do was completely remove all streamed/downloaded packages within the "Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe" folder and the issue seems to have been fixed so my guess is that there were corrupt textures installed. the only annoyance is that the issue was only with inbuilds sceneries and no other scenery from developers I had installed. also I'd like to note that uninstalling all packages and then reinstalling (I prefer to download rather than stream) can take upwards of a few hours depending on your internet.

So potentially an easy fix for INI builds, to include whatever the corrupt shared texture is, in the files installed with the affected products. redownloading all that content is a large task. April 11Apr 11 Hopefully this is where other corrupt shared textures are that affect so many other INI sceneries and developers can go in and piece them apart, especially for Xbox users as we no access to folders and files.
