  3. Pull the Altitude knob shortly prior to reaching TOD to arm auto PROF descent to selected altitude. PROF MUST be active when doing so, or you will begin descent immediately with LVL.CHG.
  4. Press the red button on the left of the yoke to cancel the sound.
  5. As per the real aircraft, PROF does not respect alt constraints in the climb. It does, however, on the descent. However this is very rudimentary in this aircraft and is not always accurate – as per the real aircraft. You must be on top of the plane, and be sure to intervene as and when needed.

  6. The Thrust Rating Panel (TRP) immediately to the right of the engine instruments is used for thrust rating control. To set a Flex temp, click the FLX.TO button, then use the dial next to it to dial in your Flex temp.

  7. At least one Pitch Trim switch must be on for them to illuminate.
  8. Your IRS must be aligned for these to remain latched. Switch all IRS switches to NAV on the overhead, and click ALIGN IRS in the FMS INIT A when your City Pair has been entered.

  10. CPDLC is not currently supported in the Microsoft Flight Simulator rendition of the A310; You can however, route recall via SimBrief. This can be done by typing your username in the FMS. If you have a more unique username you must enter this in a file (simbrief.ini) file rather than the plane (such as if you have an _ in your name). This is located here: Steam: C:\Users\yournamehere\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\microsoft-aircraft-a310-300\work MS Store Users C:\Users\yournamehere\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\microsoft-aircraft-a310-300\work If you do not see a ‘simbrief.ini’ file please drop this file in the location above. Please note the weather request is experimental and may impact flight if there is a certain type of atis response. This may be removed in the next update. simbrief.ini

  12. To allow for a seamless experience on all platforms, there is a further step one must do to get the enhanced features (4K textures, cabin, dynamic cabin screens). Please go to the Marketplace section, and download the A310-Enhanced. This will install some additional files in addition to the base version for PC users. Restart Sim.

  13. The A310-304 in passenger configuration with the GE CF6 engines. This is different to our A310-308 version in X-Plane. The key difference is the -304 has less thrust. We elected to do this variant as it’s the most common.

  15. Hello all, Thank you for your patience in waiting for our position on X-Plane aircraft development. As shared earlier on social media, we are happy to confirm that the A300V2 compatibility will be coming to XP12 for free. What does this mean? If you own the XP11 version, you get the XP12 compatible version for free. This is a compatibility update to make it work and function correctly, and will be as mentioned above free of charge. We are also contemplating a significant price change (reduction) across the family. More info to come on this when this version will be released. To manage expectations there is no ETA for this (we are targeting some point in 2023), and will ensure items such as the new FM are addressed accordingly. At this time, it is only the intention to update the A300V2. I hope this addresses some of the concerns customers had regarding the future of this product. While we are still hesitant of the future of XP12 for us as an organization, we hope this news brings some clarity for our XP11 customers who are still using this simulator. 🙂 Happy Flying!

  16. A note: support section is to be used for bugs. Thanks!
  17. Hmm yes, I think it would be best to wait for this construction to be completed... might be some more detail added based on the World cup..
  18. For sure! Guys, we want to take this airport to another level 😉 All these things are fantastic, and we will try and do as much as we can! Will aim before Xmas, but no confirmations of course! Thank you 🙂
  19. Thanks! @lowpolybutt will add to our list for the new EGLL!
  20. We have to do our best for the area.. We will do another review of course. Would people want a lower quality texture version for better FPS? Can add that as an option on iniManager.
  21. This is perfect timing. Just a note, I mentioned it in Discord - an extensive update is in the works for EGLL to bring some techniques learnt from LAX. Most, if not all will be covered in this post 🙂
  22. Just to add: The statics in ours are all on hangars or remote stands.. Nothing added on where aircraft commonly depart / arrive from. A good balance. 🙂
  23. Can you post a pic / ref. Thanks
  24. The bump won't be able to be fully removed, but we can fix the taxi sign C/C6.
  25. We already have this asset so there is no need to go sourcing material. Where is it added? Every hold point - some? Kind Regards
