CPDLC is not currently supported in the Microsoft Flight Simulator rendition of the A310; You can however, route recall via SimBrief. This can be done by typing your username in the FMS. If you have a more unique username you must enter this in a file (simbrief.ini) file rather than the plane (such as if you have an _ in your name). This is located here: Steam: C:\Users\yournamehere\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\microsoft-aircraft-a310-300\work MS Store Users C:\Users\yournamehere\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\microsoft-aircraft-a310-300\work If you do not see a ‘simbrief.ini’ file please drop this file in the location above. Please note the weather request is experimental and may impact flight if there is a certain type of atis response. This may be removed in the next update. simbrief.ini

To allow for a seamless experience on all platforms, there is a further step one must do to get the enhanced features (4K textures, cabin, dynamic cabin screens). Please go to the Marketplace section, and download the A310-Enhanced. This will install some additional files in addition to the base version for PC users. Restart Sim.

The A310-304 in passenger configuration with the GE CF6 engines. This is different to our A310-308 version in X-Plane. The key difference is the -304 has less thrust. We elected to do this variant as it’s the most common.

No worries Rich. As a company, we will never commit to something we are still unsure about. Now that clarity has been resolved, we have firmed our position for XP12 and what we will / won't do. Many thanks Ubaid

Hello all, Thank you for your patience in waiting for our position on X-Plane aircraft development. As shared earlier on social media, we are happy to confirm that the A300V2 compatibility will be coming to XP12 for free. What does this mean? If you own the XP11 version, you get the XP12 compatible version for free. This is a compatibility update to make it work and function correctly, and will be as mentioned above free of charge. We are also contemplating a significant price change (reduction) across the family. More info to come on this when this version will be released. To manage expectations there is no ETA for this (we are targeting some point in 2023), and will ensure items such as the new FM are addressed accordingly. At this time, it is only the intention to update the A300V2. I hope this addresses some of the concerns customers had regarding the future of this product. While we are still hesitant of the future of XP12 for us as an organization, we hope this news brings some clarity for our XP11 customers who are still using this simulator. 🙂 Happy Flying!

Hmm yes, I think it would be best to wait for this construction to be completed... might be some more detail added based on the World cup..

For sure! Guys, we want to take this airport to another level 😉 All these things are fantastic, and we will try and do as much as we can! Will aim before Xmas, but no confirmations of course! Thank you 🙂

We have to do our best for the area.. We will do another review of course. Would people want a lower quality texture version for better FPS? Can add that as an option on iniManager.
