Modelling & Texturing

  1. Greetings! I'm new to painting liveries, so please forgive my ignorance. I was able to paint a nice livery using the PSDs in the paint kit which included fuselage, tail, etc. But there are no wings included and I want to paint them black. Can I accomplish this in Blender with the included .blend file? I've never used Blender, so I didn't want to waste a lot of time with it if this isn't even possible. Thanks!

Unable top get mouse curses to return to normal function if I go into the FMC to p[lan the flight.

Hi everyone, I'm not sure this is intended, but several turn-push-knobs on the ACPs are missing their arrow decals, making it impossible to read their current position. Is this intended? This was on EI-HHU from IniBuilds, but can be observed on any Ini livery. Cheers!

  4. I notice that there are 2 versions of the SATCOM dome. There is a short height version (Air Canada photo) that you made and a larger height and shorter length and different shape (Qantas photo). Can you add that larger version in a future update. I notice that Qantas, JetBlue, Delta, Breeze, ITA has that larger height, different shape SATCOM dome and I think its the same shape as in the A380.

  5. Hi everyone, during walkaround I noticed these two areas where there's no backfaces and you can see right through the entire pylon. Maybe you can patch those up real quick? 😊 Cheers!

  6. Hi everyone, a tiny detail, but you force me to it with those high fidelity models: :) The inner lower brake pipe connectors on both main landing gear wheels miss some polys. Cheers!

Hey! Why no Qantas livery for the 220?🥹 On Xbox we are only able to use the liveries from the livery pack. Also, would you consider adding the Lufthansa City livery at some point? They’re taking delivery soon!

  8. Hi everyone, I just spotted a small spot on the wings during repaint where the mesh is broken and there are two holes. These are located just above the slat rail openings of the 4th outermost rail on both wings. Maybe some duct tape could help. 🙂 Cheers!

Parts of the displays just seem to disappear / turn black. For example in the screenshot below, the engine oil temps just disappear, black blocks in the PFD. For now i tried Air Canada and Air France livery and this seems to happen in both

Any reason why the external lights on the A220 are not working? No logo lights, no taxi lights, no landing lights. Only lights that work are the wing lights. I've cleared all my cache and they still won't work.

Hi, I created my own livery for the 220-300, but I have a problem: instead of the registration number under the wing, a pink rectangle appears, which also appears on the winglets. Furthermore, the fin number on the nose gear doors does not appear. For the conversion to KTX2, I use this tool: Image to KTX2 texture script for MSFS 2024 livery creation - ImageToMSFSKTX2. I tried replacing the files with others from other liveries and it works fine. I hope you can help.

  14. Hi, I am reporting this issue separately, so it is not missed. We have noticed that for some reason, the model files in the paintkit livery examples for MSFS 2024 are broken, and with poor LOD. Like this: But if we borrow model files from another existing livery, it works correctly: These folders, to be specific:

  16. Hello, I'm making a livery for the A220 using the paintkit, and have got almost everything sorted! After loading the project and building it, I see it applies placards to the fuselage and engines. That's great, but as my plane is a darker shade of blue, I'd like them to be in white, as I can see they are on the ITA Airways livery for example. Is there a way to 'select' this as an alternative somewhere, or can the placards in white be provided as additional files in the paintkit, so they can be added if we need them? I'm not too familiar with the project structures and how they work, so I don't know if this is already possible with the tools I have. Thanks!

  17. I've tried using Blender versions 3.6 and 4.2 and both have said that the included blend file isn't a blend file. Other users on Synaptic's server have had problems with it as well. I was only going to use the blend file to export the mesh as an FBX for Substance Painter. It would be nice if that was included in the kit as other developers have done. Thanks for your time!

Just spotted in the paintkit, that the synaptic-a220-airliner-Livery.xml file says: Name="inibuilds-a380-_-"
