Modelling & Texturing

  1. Hello I wanted to know if there are any plans on possibly reworking the exterior and interior model of the A350 as there seem to be a few inaccuracies.

  2. The inibuilds A350 cabin is arguably one of the best around. However, since the lates update, all the airline specific colours have disappeared and have been replaced by the standard inibuilds colours. I am not referring to the airline specific cabin models (I am not so bothered about those going), but I really miss the colours specific for SQ, EK BA etc. The only exception I have found is the SQ ULR cabin is still SQ colours (and of course modelled for the ULR variant). I have searched high and low, but all I can see is referring to the airline specific cabin models being withdrawn, not the airline specific colouring.

  3. May not be many's primary focus but it certainly improve the immersion greatly for those who care or spent sufficient time in the cabin during a long flight, or during replay from cabin wing view. Recently tried out PMDG 737 for MSFS2024 (attached a comparison, iniA350 textures seems dark and of low quality, no cabin window reflection), I feel iniA350 should really refurbish or at least bring its cabin textures to a higher standards of a premium airliner, one which better leverage the graphic and lighting capability of MSFS 2024. Hopefully it will come to this beautiful bird soon!

Hi @iniBuilds, I could see that this bug supposed to be fixed in 1.1.8 update, however it's still present in my case when you're in external view and will zoom in the front of a plane. Pink textures around wipers is there. I've updated aircraft recently to 1.2.0 version (MSFS 2024 / XBOX Series X)

  5. Hi! I’m encountering an issue in FS2024 while generating aircraft thumbnails.. The thumbnail creation tool freezes when processing this aircraft, and the message indicates that there is a problem in the model related to the static_pitch and static_cg_height values in the flight_model.cfg. Could you please confirm whether this is a known issue, and if there are recommended values or an official fix planned for this model? Thanks a lot for your support!

Hello, Today I just bought A350 and downloaded liveries by inimanager but they are not visible. Only default inibuilds liveries visible. What could be the problem? Additional Information: The problem exists in MSFS 2020. This issue does not exist in MSFS 2024.

  7. Started by JayRedd,

I do not know what would cause the nav lights to look like this. Both sides are like this, and I am on the newest update, also I have uninstalled twice and clear WASM as well, no light mods are installed

  8. As stated in the title and previously discussed here: after 1.1.9 the problem persists. A350 1.1.9, msfs2024 SU4 on Xbox Series X, plane is installed not streamed.

  9. Started by TAMR,

When panning the camera around I notice white lines above the FCU which I believe is some sort of artifacting. They go away when the panning stops and only appear during daytime, night is okay. Also they don’t appear when zoomed in. I haven’t noticed this on any YouTube videos so I was wondering if there was a setting in the sim or Nvidia control panel I could try. Thanks!

  10. Started by Ralgh,

I have done a repaint for both the -900 and -1000 but am having a problem with the cabin door outlines. Usually paintkits have a layer on the fuselage or there is a specific texture for the door outlines. I can find neither for the A350. The interesting part is that my repaint for the -900 shows no door outlines on the plane in the sim and the -1000 has gray outlines even though my fuselage textures have no outlines on them. Any assistance on how to paint my own door outlines for both versions in appreciated.

  11. Started by C. Schaffhausen,

The A350 is a fantastic product which is very popular, however it's not without its flaws. Many users, including myself, pointed out modelling inaccuracies a while back in the forum. We've known that a modelling review had been taken. However, in the Dec update from Inibuilds, we have not heard anything about the future updates. Any chance the team can share what they are working on for the A350 project, and whether the wing modelling will be updated? Thank you Inibuilds, and Merry Christmas!

is anyone having trouble with cabin lights? They are dimmed even if set to be "Bright" in the Flight Attendant Panel.

  13. Started by jabbar,

What are these air trails when I turn on the engines? how can I delete them ? no problem on msfs2020 instead. Thanks so much.

  14. Hello guys! The OANS quality bs really bad when playing on medium texture resolution, which is really annoying. Please fix this!

  15. Before the update I flew MUC-BOM without incident. After updating however none of the cockpit textures will load in. Does anybody have an idea how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

  16. Started by LineDX,

Hi guys, any settings or config file to disable the HUD covers permanently. I like the neat and clean look without the hud covers. Thanks

  17. As you can see, there is a strange glitch where the dome light isn't visible in the cockpit unless you're looking at certain angles. This only happens at Inibuilds EGLL terminal 3 gates. I moved to T5 and they worked. Don't know if this belongs in the A350 or EGLL forum topic. MSFS 2024 SU4 A350 1.1.9. Ryzen 9800X3D Radeon 9070XT.

  18. Hello, I am using an A350-900ULR and flying from Dubai to Oslo and when I first started to start my engines the engines in the external view are not spinning at all. This was working in the XBOX version of 1.1.6 but now in the 1.1.8 its not working.

  19. Hi inibuilds, The new cabin lighting looks awful. Could you please revert back to the previous iteration? A350 ULR cabin lighting before the update: A350 ULR cabin lighting after the update: Thanks

  20. It probably has to do with the fact there is no cabin in the Xbox version but I hope there is a work around to prevent the hole in the fuselage when opening any cargo door, see screenshot. Specs; xbox X, SU4 streaming, v1.1.8, marketplace livery.

  21. It appears that the weathered effects do not apply to all parts of the plane, see screenshot. The weathered effect really adds immersion so hope it can be fixed. Specs; xbox X, SU4 streaming, v1.1.8, marketplace livery.

The FS24 British Airways liveries have incorrect colour on the end of the flap jack fairings. They are grey instead of red.

  23. Started by CptFerox,

Having issues with the latest A350 update. When using the default cabin and switching from cockpit to a wing view the inner window frame loads in delayed every time. It starts out super blurry and a very basic shape (my guess its an LOD issue) and then properly loading in 1-2 seconds later. Is that a known issue ?

I've brought this up before on initial release, but it seems to have fallen through the cracks. EXT 1 and 2 are revered on the model. When you select one or the other and walk around the plane, you can clearly see that physically, EXT 1 is plugged into EXT 2 and EXT 2 is plugged into EXT 1.
