Eng 1 shut down on throttle up

Featured Replies

As the title suggests, engine 1 rolls back upon engine spool up. I was able to taxi under idle power, but as soon as I spooled up to get onto the runway, engine 1 shut down. I was able to restart it, but even with the slightest amount of throttle, the engine still shutdown.

This could be user error, but I was following along with a tutorial video as well as using the Autocomplete feature.

Upon further testing, it's the throttle 3 axis that is causing the eng 1 to shut down. No idea why. I went through all my axis and buttons on my Bravo to confirm nothing was tied to fuel and that the correct profile was selected (same profile I use for the TFDi MD-11) and nothing was conflicting.

Just had 2 engine shut downs from engine 2. I have no idea what is causing it, but I think it could be related to the flight engineer. One during taxi out in Winnipeg, and then one approach to Toronto, Engine 2 rolled back.

all 3 of mine shutdown as soon as i move my throttles forward. tried messing with the calibration menu but it doesn't seem to help. every restart of engine, same thing. if i leave the thrust lever a little above idle, it continues to run. but as soon as i bring it back to idle, they shut down.

to confirm - even with the latest update, I still have this issue. can't get off the ground

Just wondering, have you tried making a seperate profile with no other bindings other than throttles (to test) that the 3 axis work and/or also try assigning 1 axis for all throttles and see if it works?
Also, are you launching the flight as "shut down" or "ready for takeoff"?... To troubleshoot some other issue with the aircraft, I launched the flight as "ready for takeoff" to get going faster and the engines gave up after a few minutes.. so I suspect it stuggles with that if not from cold and dark. I find that "ready for takeoff" with more complex addons causes trouble with the flow/scripts that the models have to set themselves up.
