rexizam Posted Wednesday at 01:04 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:04 AM (edited) On my RTX 4080 with 16 GB VRAM I run out of VRAM when I pan the camera towards the flight engineer deck. This happens on both busy airports on the ground and in small default airports. Is there a plan to include a variant with lower texture resolution or without the cabin perhaps? I believe this will improve performance for those of us who can't afford a 24 or 32 GB video card and still want to enjoy the plane on high graphics settings 🙂 Somehow, this is the only 3rd party add-on airplane that eats so much VRAM on my current graphics configuration and usual airports I fly to and from. JoaoVBettu Posted Wednesday at 01:37 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:37 AM Couldn't agree more, even with DLSS Perfomance it exceeds the 12GB of VRAM of my 4070. Almost unplayable.

Hi, in my testing on a 5080 VRAM usage at detailed sceneries was around 12-13gb. What are you seeing on your system? AMD 7800x3d - 64gb RAM - nVidia RTX 5080
Wothan1967 Posted Wednesday at 11:20 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:20 AM (edited) 12-13 GB is also too much for people with 12GB cards. I even use AutoFPS to tweak my TLOD and OLOD during flight. I have no problems with other Addon Aicraft, like PMDG, FSLabs; Toliss, TFDi or the 3 Inibuild Airbusses (A300, A340 and A350) So please if You use 8K textures, make a Lite version with 4K. 09tir98 Posted Wednesday at 12:19 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:19 PM (edited) I have to agree with these posts. This is by far the worst performing plane in the sim for me due to the VRAM usage. I had 7 fps on landing rollout at ORBX ESSA in the Tristar. With all other aircraft in the sim I'd have at least 30. This is on a 3060 Ti with 8GB VRAM and all settings on low or medium Edited Wednesday at 12:20 PM by 09tir98
rexizam Posted Wednesday at 04:18 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 04:18 PM Here are some screenshots from my tests today at EKCH Copenhagen airport (default) I run a mix of High and Ultra settings on RTX 4080 Super 16GB Texture settings are set on High As previously mentioned, other 3rd party addons don't ask for so much VRAM. A300-600R Premium for example doesn't make my VRAM go into the red and it has glass cockpit instruments. 2
Solution richboy2307 Posted 6 hours ago Solution Posted 6 hours ago Thanks for your reports. For the upcoming v1.0.1 update, we’ve made several adjustments to textures aimed at improving overall FPS. Once the update is available on the Marketplace (expected around next week), we’d really appreciate it if you could try it out and let us know how it performs on your end. 1 Vrishabh Sehgal ( @Richboy2307 ) Community Team Member & Tester iniBuilds Ltd. | inibuilds.com
