DIRECT TO PROBLEM MCDU

Hello, i bought the 340-300 3 days ago and i've been enjoying it a lot. BUT, there is ONE MAIN ISSUE that makes the aircraft bad. I Fly a lot on the VATSIM network, and during events, there are a lot of route directs. Every time i am told to do a direct to, the whole flight plan just deletes itself, i tried to change my landing sequence froman ILS 24R to an ILS 24L at montreal airport, and i had to do a direct to continue my route as usual, but i am now forced to do it in vectoring because there is no flight plan after a simple "route direct" Paying 60€ for an aircraft that presents this kind of issue does feel like getting scammed on some point. If anybody know how to fix this, please let me know. Best regards

I have the exact same issue. Submit a ticket like I did.

May be you can use the sec flt plan (after you copied the active one in the beginning of the flight) and go from there (activate sec)?

Through some testing I figured out the following:

Whenever I select a waypoint to go direct to, the FMS instead selects a waypoint 25 positions further down the flightplan list of waypoints. consistently, regardless of waypoint selected.

This would explain why in my previous flights it would just "delete the flightplan" as I was trying to proceed to a waypoint on the arrival, and there were less than 25 waypoints left on the flightplan, so it would just proceed directly towards the end.

I noticed this behavour today also.

I am confused as to why when you select a DIR TO the TMPY FPLN comes up on the 2nd MCDU.

I think when you have an additional DIR TO you need to clear the previous one from the box of the DIR page, in the case of your video delet SVL

I had the same issue where the 2nd DIR cleared my entire flight plan, BUT, I was able to get it back with out with some missing parts by clearing the previous DIR fix from the LSKL1 box on the DIR page and inserting the new DIR waypoint.

Would be a great idea, I am not sure if I am doing any thing wrong, but I have no Activate SEC LSK on the SEC index Page.
