With Pop out Windows i get only one window with 6 instruments instead of 6 seperate Windows (PFD, ND , EICAS, DCDU )

with your A350 there is no Problem and every Window is available.

This is by design for stability and performance reasons, as all instrumentation is being drawn in a single layer rather than its own separate gauge (as previous planes).

Lol performance reasons?

But your other aircraft failed on this functionality on release as well such as the a330 until recently so your able to do it.

This just single handedly wrote off any home cockpit users....

This should be fixed.

What a joke. Why does Ini always do funny stuff like this when it comes to power users like cockpit builders??

Well, I think this is because home cockpit users make a very small percentage and developers tend to prioritize things depending on how many users actually need this.. hopefully this will be fixed soon

The Problem is all about Trust. There was no Information in Advance about this disfunktionality as all other previous products are working with Pop out Windows.
In FAQs no Information.

in all Trailers no Information.

so im very unhappy with that you waste 66€ for nothing.

So I’ve just wasted around 90 dollars Australian just to find out that my home cockpit won’t function properly. This is criminal behaviour they need to support individual panel pop out it makes no sense to have it as just one screen.

Absolutly agree with alot of the comments here. I never would have bought this half baked hair dryer had i known the screens were using revolutionary technology rendering it entirely useless for my home set up.

not currently using popouts but was also planning on building a basic airbus cockpit and being able to pop out windows would be a basic requirement for that.

I don’t need them to prioritize cockpit builders, but rather just to step aside and implement features the same way other developers do. Even with standard MSFS airplanes, it’s possible to pop the displays out correctly. In fact, they seem to have gone out of their way to make things work differently from the norm.

@richboy2307, is it possible to apply for a refund? This was not communicated at all! It boggles my mind that inibuilds would opt to change an approach that is used even by default MSFS aircraft! It makes the aircraft totally useless for home cockpit users!

At the very least Inibuilds should orient the displays within the pop out window in the same layout as in the aircraft. Not this 2 columns of 3 crap..

In the beginning I thought is was a bug, as it doesn't make sense for 99% of the users. But no bug (unfortunately), obviously. Can it be fixed to the normal "common sense" popout window agin? Would be great.

It's not just about cockpit builders. I have a multi screen set up so popping windows out for added immersion is quite a natural thing to do. It's dismissive to say "improving the performance" is the reason for not doing this. You might just as well say you left the MCDU out for the same reason. This is a vital part of simming for high end users. I thought Inbuilds valued that community, but if its just about the X-boxers now, I would say you're lowering your sights. Please can you make pop ups work. As others have said on here, I would not have bought this product if I had imagined for a moment that they were not a given.

I think with WinWing coming to the market and many taking up 3D printing, pop-outs will be ever more popular, especially among airbus flyers. Hopefully they offer a fix here, even if it would be a version that could be chosen with the inimanager or tablet to specifically render these individually on the fly...

I was just starting msfs2024 and just about to buy this aircraft. Luckily I found this thread as this is a show stopper for me unfortunately. I use my second screen for these pop outs on all aircraft. Are there any hopes that the pop outs will be added like in the 330/350?

Thanks a lot and best regards

At least if the arrangement of the screens could be changed. If the PFD, ND and Engine Displays would be in one line from left to right it would be usable on a second screen. I would be interested if the current arrangement has any use for anybody.

Hi all. While we understand the frustration, reverting back to single displays is neither easy or efficient.

Despite that, we will take a look to see if it's possible to implement an alternate solution. Thanks.
