  1. Are you by chance trying to input something into the right FMS ? (if so you have to press right ctrl)
  2. MR.TX replied to oledurt's topic in Systems
Another issue with the calculator I've found so far is the issue that it isn't able to compute V speeds for TOGA thrust. When selecting TOGA thrust in the calculator, it simply displays the same V speeds and even a flex temp as if you selected flex thrust.
  3. Here is a video showcasing the Issue. The decision height is set to 200 feet in this example. A380 GPWS.mp4
  4. From cockpit movies I've seen so far I can at least confirm that the derated takeoff option is available on Lufthansa, Air France, Qantas, Etihad, HiFly/Singapore Airlines and Malaysian Airlines A380's. The only example I could find so far where the derated takeoff option was missing, was an Emirates A380 with EA engines.
  5. Like the title states the "100 above" and "minimum" callout overlap with GPWS altitude callouts. In the irl. aircraft this is obviously not the case, with the callouts being played in close sequence if applicable. Sadly this is a bug that was already present (and reported) on the A350 as well as other ini Airbus aircraft and still has found its way onto the A380.
  6. At least we got a good laugh out of it.
  7. I mean, it obviously does.
  8. Currently the A380 is sadly missing its ability to perform derated takeoffs. It would be really nice if this feature could be implemented in a future version of the aircraft in order to enhance its realism.
  9. D-ATIS is also working with BATC. You just have to make sure that you select BATC on the logon page.
  10. Since the update to version 1.2.3 there have been some weird issues when it comes to the 3D sound fading of the slat sounds in the cockpit. Before this version the slat sounds were clearly audible in the cockpit, with the Flap sounds being rather muffled (i.e realistic). As of update 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 the slat sounds are inaudible when positioning the camera in the captains or first officer seat. Yet when you move the camera near the glare shield the slat sounds suddenly pop in. Here is a video demonstrating this weird bug. (sorry for the low res due to file size restrictions) 0322.mp4
  11. As seen in the attached screenshot the display brightness of all cockpit displays isn't coherent at the same brightness setting. This issue is very noticable when selecting lower brightness settings via the DU master switch.
  12. Like the title states, the Takeoff ECAM MEMO and its counterpart in the taxi Checklist aren't identical, with the taxi checklist missing the CABIN READY item from the ECAM MEMO. It seems like the checklist might've been replicated from an aircraft which also doesn't feature the CABIN READY item from the ECAM MEMO. (can be seen on Air Caraibes A350's for example)
  13. Like the title states I've observed that the volume of the engine 1 is noticably higher than that of engine 2 throughout all phases of flight.
  14. Like the title states there is the problem that all cockpit fan and ventilation sounds aren't fading out when moving out of the cockpit with them staying at full volume in the cabin.
  15. Like the title states the "100 above" and "minimum" callout overlap with GPWS altitude callouts. In the irl. aircraft this is obviously not the case, with the callouts being played in close sequence if applicable.
  16. Imo. the whole soundscape of the A330 needs some serious improvement. Cabin sounds aren't modeled at all, with the cockpit ventilation and fan sounds being audible throughout the aircraft. The RR engines sound meh at best (very artifcial with obvious transitions trough different samples). Lots of buttons have missing sounds which are present in other ini Airbus aircraft. There are volume issues with many different sounds etc. TLDR: The sounds provided for the A330 simply aren't up to the standard of other ini builds products, including freeware.
  17. Hey guys, I recently started flying the ini A330 and coming from many other 3rd. party Airbus aircraft there was one thing which struck me as very odd. When editing the flightplan in the FMS for example when setting up a departure or arrival I'm not prompted with the option to take a look at the temporary flightplan but rather just with either inserting or erasing my selected departure/arrival, nor have I been prompted with the temporary flightplan when making edits to my active flightplan. This lead me to wonder if ini simply modeled a specific version of the fms which doesn't feature a temporary flightplan (not that i would've seen such thing before), or if its simply a missing feature?
