  1. It´s good to know that we " will notice various changes in the product and that has come from some feedback from IRL A300-600R airliner pilots from different operators around the world." but shouldn´t you have consulted those guys in the first place? It´s V 1.1.0. and the changelog reads like an early access product...If i had a dollar for every "reported, thanks"...well, you do the math... I understand that people with real world XP on this type are not easily to come by... but how is this "the ultimate classic airliner expereience"? Regards
  2. The toga button on the glareshield is no (longer) the toga button since now it fullfills it's realworld counterparts function. There's a video by inibuilds where they discribe where to click now. Regards
  3. Normally it takes Asobo a few weeks to even months to clear releases and updates for the market place. Not a lot a developer can do about it.
  4. Really? That's quite disappointing... I understand that this might be one of the often talked about limitations of the platform. Still, I rewatched inibuilds video prior to release where they explained the maintenance features. While they didn't explicitely state that not changing the tyres or brakes will eventually lead to these systems failing, by how it was phrased ("giving you a reason to do maintenance") I was still under the impression that you had to do maintenance in order to prevent that. Also, otherwise why would you have to enable these features in the first place if it's just visual effects? I still like the a300 a lot, but slowly the paints coming off in certain places...

    Manual?

Do I expect to get a full study level plane for 40 bucks? No, I actually do not. I even stated that in a recent post where I pointed out that what I had to say might be a little too nit picky, given the price tag of the plane. See attachment, if interested. But we should leave it there, because obviously we are going in circles. "Is there a manual?" "No, use the fcom!" "The plane doesn't do what it's suspected to do, according to the fcom" "Then go buy the real plane" I want to stress once more, that I am impressed with it, even more so with the continuous improvement and community work inibuild does. But I thought, they had some sort of input by real a300 pilots during the development phase who would have pointed out the shortcomings and incorrectly modelled systems in the first place. regards.
  6. In this case I wonder why I get a dme readout @lirn rwy24

    Manual?

@Crabby do you get want I want to convey here? An fcom is only worth reading if the simulated plane can be actually operated by that manual. The a300 leaves a lot to be desired here, just try it.
  8. I think this might be a sim problem
  9. i have no bindings on the quadrant, besides those that come WITH the quadrant (hdg/spd/alt) dial. And i´m pretty sure it worked until one of the recent updates. It also works with all my other addons, so i would think the problem is on inibuilds end. But i will of course take a look.
  10. Changing hdg using the TCA built in hdg knob also decreases speed in the fcu. Kind Regards
  11. If so: turning the hdg knob also manipulates SPD. Which means: If you decrease hdg by 90 (using the thrustmaster Boeing quadrant) it also decreases SPD by 90 which might put your speed to a value low enough to disconnect the autopilot. 🤷🏽‍♂️
  12. but i think second guessing (from YT videos) is also okay.
  13. black square aircraft come with a 200 page manual justflight aircraft come with a 200 page manual leonardo´s md 80 comes...well, you do the math i´m so sorry, i really don´t want to be anal here. but if one wants to be their aircraft to be a study level one, then you better make sure it can be flown using the actual fcom.
  14. you don´t happen to use a thrustmaster boeing tca quadrant?
  15. You are right too. But in this case I would expect the plane not to lack every other function and flight law described in said fcom. Also I'm not talking about including the fcom but a short 100, 200 page manual to get you started. Back on topic, do you know how an rnav approach is actually flown (in profile mode) in the a300? Because hitting lvl chg for the plane to descend from the faf doesn't seem right to me.
  16. i thought it was my ffb yoke, that´s why i didn´t raise this issue here
  17. i can confirm this! I blamed this on my force feedback yoke until now...
  18. @Crabbydo you happen to have a Part 2 or wherever Airbus laid out their normal procedures?
  19. i have it right here besides me. Sadly quite a few things regarding the AFS don´t work as laid out in the FCOM. Threre´s a few posts where i point those out. This could be because they aren´t modelled or, and i want to stress that, i don´t understand them correctly or the FCOM simply depicts a revised version. My point is, that a brief summary in form of a manual, depicting the basic functions, isn´t that far fetched of an idea. regards

    Manual?

Hi all, we now have this great a300 rendition but would it be possible to come up with a manual that actually described the (at least the autoflight) system? I think this would be beneficial in that it would eliminate probably 50% of the questions asked in the systems category (and almost a 100% asked by myself) without caonsulting an actual FCOM?? Because maybe all these "bugs" and anomalies reported is just us users not knowing how to operate the plane correctly? I sure wouldn´t have been able to learn the BAe146 without the included manual, given the lack of real world videos on YT. regards!
  21. Then again, this could all be down to me not understanding the system correctly, coming from the likes of the Pmdg 737. But why not just give us a 100 page or so manual, detailing the basic AFS functions???
  22. @Crabby pulling the alt knob doesn´t arm anything on my end. At least not in regards as to what "arming" should look like in an Airbus FMA...
  23. @Holger i have to apologize, you seem to be right. I didn´t manage to fly an rnav too. The only way i got the plane to descend from the FAF was dis- and reengaging Profile mode. Which doesn´t feel right, does it. MDA had been entered correctly. I think i will make a video of this, maybe i don´t understand the system correctly...
