  1. Heya!

Yes, can confirm both those issues. Though I'm actually not a 100% sure if the runway markings are like this after the rebuild tbh.

Will forward them to Bill for the first patch πŸ™‚

  2. Heya!

Yeah, we are aware that some bridges / tunnels are missing at KLAX (some are missing at EGLL as well fwiw)

Unfortunately it is very hard to terraform in MSFS to the point when you try to dig a tunnel at some place it will give you bumps at another place.

I'm not saying we are ever going to add/fix these; but please understand that it is not as easy as it might seem πŸ˜•

  3. To add to this, when you enter your circuit, go to idle throttle, maintain level through increasing AOA, the speed bleeds off quick enough to where you can introduce flaps / gear to get down to the runway.

I normally go to 20-30 degree of flaps and gear down during the downwind at around 130-140 km/h, then 30-40 on the base leg. Turning final you should be at around 110 km/h which should give you a good speed for landing. Progessively control your speed with V/S and only use power if you're going to run short.

  4. Heya once again YoYo πŸ˜„

I know you are very adamant about this being wrong in our model, but I unfortunately have to disagree there. All the materials you presented here are contradicting themselves at different parts. In the video at 4:50 they have a slide that says it opens automatically with AOA. Same with the picture in the next post; in the second paragraph it says "which relates to angle of attack only"

We spoke to several owners of BF108s and they all said they aren't generally closed above 130km/h.

And to what Marko said earlier; they don't drop out instantly. You'd have to have a very violent change in AOA handling for that to happen; which physically is impossible.

  5. Yeah, ATIS and Messages got moved to the EFB in an update. The behaviour is also different because of said update.

Could you pass me along your Simbrief Username that you pasted in here? image.png.effc505cbb821a3168e4dba9ac12a758.png

And just to confirm, I was talking about the "Online Functionlity" in the MSFS Settings under General Options --> Data. That is turned ON for you?

  6. I'll have to apologize again Andre, but all that video shows is the position of the yoke while the aircraft is turned off / on GPU and on the ground.

And yes, while we do have contact with Antonov, they are all rather busy over there and we keep contact on the short side.

But that is No solution to use your product. I am a little bit dissapointed because it was a Lot of Money for me to get this Airport.Β for the price it should run perfectly. On LAX Airport i have No Problems with the markings. it must be the programming.

We did some digging into this and the issue arises because LVFR delivers a custom EGLL bgl file, which overrides ours. They don't have a custom one for KLAX, which is why the issue doesn't arise there.

  8. Heya!

I just tested this. I spawned at 1.2km, 220kmph and I made from 13nm (about 25km) to about 6nm short of the runway. It might be a little higher than a standard GA aircraft, but consider a fighter of the time had a glide ratio of 13-14:1 I am not shocked by a 12km glide to give a 12ish:1 glide ratio.

Remember, idle thrust does not equal no thrust. Even if at idle, it will still generate thrust to move the plane forward. You'll have to turn the engine off completly and redo your test to get the actual glide ratio.
