NEW iniBuilds Store Released!
We'd like to formally welcome you to the brand new iniBuilds Store! The team have been hard at work developing an improved store with some awesome new features, so this post will walk you through some of them and show you what's new! 🥳 🏡Home Page 🏡 Firstly, from the get-go, you'll notice a difference, the addition of the 'Trending Products' section, a brand new layout, a revised top navigation menu, all of these things will get you to the product you're after in no time! 💪 Here you'll find plenty of products that the community are loving at the moment, from some of iniBuilds' latest releases, to some recently updated, well known and loved sceneries as well! You'll also notice that each product now has specific identifiers to them, from MSFS, X-Plane and even P3D, every product will have one of three circles next to the name to help you quickly identify the product simulator. 👀 As you can see, you have the title at the top of each card, then the developer and then that simulator identifier! The Simulators are separated into 3 categories as mentioned above, you can quickly and easily see what these are from the following idents - The last thing to notice on the home page (and all pages for that matter!) is the new currency selector! This new tool allows you to quickly and easily see the projected equivalent of what you'll be charged for each product without having to do so yourself! This is something we can grow as time goes on, so if you have any specific currencies you'd love to see on the store, shoot one of the staff members a message and we'll see what we can do! 💱 🛒Product Pages🛒 Next up, we have the new product pages! These are designed to give you all of the relevant information you need to decide whether to purchase a product! We start with the clear titles, showing the name of the product and reinforcing the simulator it is intended for. If that's all you need to know, click buy it now, or keep shopping around with the 'Add to Cart' feature. If you still need to find out more, keep scrolling! There's a clear product description, followed by some vital key features highlighting the products notable areas, accompanied by some of the product preview images. If the product has enough, you'll be able to click a link to see the full features list. 📝 Following on from there, we have the full product gallery, showcasing some of what you can expect from every product you could ever want to purchase from the store! Click on these to scroll through, once you're done, simply hit the 'X' and that's it! If the product has a trailer, you'll see this below the product gallery and will give you a fantastic preview of the product before you buy it. Finally, as a feedback point, we wanted to provide you with some more information regarding each product, namely the version it is currently listed as, therefore, under Product Info and Prerequisites, you'll find a plethora of information relating to each and every product. 🔄 ⚙️iniBuilds Pages⚙️ What would an iniBuilds Store be without iniBuilds specific pages?! We've made it even easier for you to find the latest iniBuilds releases, simply click on iniBuilds, then either "Scenery" or "Aircraft" (depending on what it is you're after!) and the latest release will be at the top of that page! Each product shows the title, a preview image and a short extract from the full description, as well as the previous, you'll also see a price, simulator version and the usual "View More" and "Add to Cart" buttons! Click view more to open the full product page and navigate from there. 🛫Aircraft and Scenery Pages🌍 There are two sections which we had a lot of feedback to improve, namely the Aircraft and Scenery areas. Starting with Aircraft, you'll see that we've added filtering to this page to enable a quick and easy search through, both simulator and type of aircraft can be filtered through without ever leaving this page. You'll find a host of different products matching the criteria you enter. Next up, we've separated scenery into regions! Simply click the region you'd like to explore, set the simulator you want to search for and away you go, it's that easy. We've added Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania & South America as regions for you to browse! 🌎 👨👩👦Vendor Page👨👩👦 Coming to the end of our walkthrough, we've got the vendor list, displaying all of our store vendors with their names, logos and the products they have on offer! Easily identify the developer whose products you want to look at, click the card, and you'll be taken to a page full of their products! 🛍️ Which brings us nicely to the end of this walkthrough! There's plenty of other nifty features we've added, but then you won't be able to see them at work first hand! iniBuilds New York John F. Kennedy (KJFK) for MSFS v1.2.0 Released
v1.2.0 of iniBuilds New York John F. Kennedy (KJFK) for MSFS has been released. This update addresses performance issues and adds the option to completely disable detailed interiors and instead, replace these with parallax windows! We've also adjusted LOD values, material resolutions, reduced the material count and removed some duplicate elements. This update can be downloaded via the iniManager. v1.2.0 T4, T8 & Satellite, Tower and TWA hotel: - Models split into smaller sections - LOD values adjusted as necessary - Overall material resolution and count reduction - Further implementation of instancing - Added option for parallax when detailed interiors not in use - Fixed multiple model issues (stretched UVs, gaps in mesh, missing objects) - Added emissive boost to floodlights - Implemented smaller LOD radius Interiors: - Reduced amount of people models by approximately 50% - Separated mesh to ensure none have greater than 65,000 vertices, improving portability on low end devices. - Reduced material count and replaced materials with vertex colour - Use of instancing on seats and gates - Adjusted LOD values Other: -All jetways now have LODs - Some default assets removed (superfluous) - Several duplicate elements removed - Removed hidden interior details from AA Cargo - ILS freqs now visible on VFR map - LODs added to all major buildings within the airport boundary

iniManager v2.3.1 Released
v2.3.1 of the iniManager has been released (For Windows). This update addresses some issues users have been having whilst trying to download via the iniManager as well as a fix for GSX profiles which retains the installation status after a user logs out and then back in. This update will be downloaded automatically when you launch the app or you can manually download it here. v2.3.1 - Updated the download system to be more reliable. - Fixed GSX Installation status when user logs out and then back into then app.

iniBuilds Zayed International Update Explanation & Scenery project updates
Thanks for all your patience while we sort out performance issues with AUH. We've now located the main issues and have just released this version to the iniBuilds Store and SimMarket. Unfortunately, in the last stages of OMAA development some issues crept in that ultimately created a perfect storm, as it were, for performance bottlenecks for many users. First off, there was a duplication of the main airport placement file. This file includes pretty much all of the art assets including jetways and animations along with custom nav elements and approach lighting etc. Although the sim is meant to identify duplicated ICAOs being present, whether or not one gets excluded is unknown. Regardless, this was an error on our part. Although we've not been able to replicate the issue with GSX or activating aircraft systems, it's most likely that the above is the root cause. Second, although the terminal exterior, interior and internal detail models are all LODed as they should be, those LODs were ineffective due to the way the models had been exported. The physical, real-world, size of the main terminal is so large that even the highest LOD levels meant all the terminal elements were visible from a good distance away. To make matters worse, the duplicated file mentioned above meant that disabling the detailed interior in the control panel was ineffective, therefore the expected improvement in FPS just didn't happen. Finally, we've identified an issue with the interior model itself. This is related to instancing of objects within which designed to reduce the impact of large, complex models on the system. Without getting too much into the weeds, instancing simply tells the sim to load and draw the same object once, then repeat it many times to visualise a large model. As opposed to the large model being loaded and drawn in one action which creates a bottleneck, particularly when panning to/from the airport. There's a fine balancing act in getting this right and unfortunately there's little documented guidance and how best to use this for scenery. It's something that we have experimented with since LAX but never managed to quite get right. With AUH now, I'm confident that we've found the right balance. Importantly, that same balance can be applied retroactively to our other large sceneries (DXB, HNL, LAX and to a lesser extent JFK). Avoiding any one of the above issues would have 'fixed' the problem and prevented most of the negative reports we've seen. Combined, they create a situation where no amount of tweaking settings would help in any meaningful way. Regarding our old products, we're 100% committed to getting all of our large hubs working as well as they possibly can and I can assure you all that we now have a team of developers and testers working full time on fulfilling that commitment. Armed with your feedback, screenshots and videos along with our wealth of knowledge and experience, we will get there. Our team are working hard on LAX and JFK with HNL being tested by internal testers this week.
