Hello @Teebee,

To exit a hold, you can go direct to a fix outside the hold or press the IMM EXIT selection on the FMS Flight Plan page.

With the IMM EXIT selection, it will exit the hold at the earliest opportunity and keep going on the set flight plan route.

I would propose temporarily removing all of your third-party plug-ins and add-ons including scenery and aircraft to see if it's a third party plug-in causing this issue since this is not nominal or previously reported behaviour.

You press the red disconnect button on the yoke to disengage the AP and silence the aural system completely, you're fully in control after the first click.
