The DIR page of the A400M has also options like CRS IN and CRS OUT besides the normal direct-to. But how does it work? Where do I set the course that I want to fly to the point I enter there? If I select CRS IN and enter a wypoint, the A400M behaves exactly the same way as if I'd chosen the normal direct-to function. Where do I set the radial I want to fly to that waypoint?

Hi Inibuilds Team, the A400 released for the 2020 marketplace - a great surprise! Two small issues: - First, the HUD display is always on, weather the HUD is down or not. (See screenshots). Further, there is no way of dimming the lights. - Second: The Toggle Autopilot Master keybinding does not work with the A400M autopilot.

Hi I can't get the autothrottle into the reverse anymore. The value of my throttleaxis in the calibration is at 0 and the "MAX REV" is at the bottom. All other detents works correctly but not the reverse. I tried the tip from the FAQ to switch between yes and no reverse on axis but that didn't help. I have the thrustmaster airbus throttle quadrant. The axis are well calibrated outside of MSFS and shown correctly in the EFB. The throttle are binded to "Trottle 1 Axis (0-100%)" ,"Trottle 2 Axis (0-100%)" and so on. Sensitivity is all linear at standard. What am I doing wrong here? Best regards

Hello. I recently decided to take a long flight and noticed a strange feature. For some reason, the OEM is 89,993 kg, although in fact, based on open sources, the OEM is about 78,600 kg. The fuel capacity is 50,500 kg in the simulator, and the MTOW on the tablet is listed as 137,900 kg, but in reality, it is 141,000 kg. I would like to understand why there is such a difference and what causes it.

I'm finding everything else I need (Alt hold, V/S, Speed Hold, etc) except probably the most critical of all...the LNAV. I have looked everywhere and can't find an LNAV button. I'm not even sure how to put this thing in managed mode either. Push up on the heading knob doesn't seem to turn on the managed mode like it does in the a320, even after setting a pre-flight from the map before starting the sim.

Hi, I have the TCA throttle, and I cannot get the reverse thrust to work, I calibrated it in the EFB, and have seen other posts regarding finidng a file for throttle data, however, I cannot find this file, assuming thats becasue it is converted, but I'd love some help on how to get the reverse thrust working. Hi, I recently purchased the A400 for MSFS 2020, I cannot get engines 1 and 2 to switch from feather to run. Engines 3 and 4 do allow switching. Anyone got any ideas of a solution. Thanks in advance

Hello, I excitedly bought the A400M for MSFS 2020 yesterday. Unfortunately, I can't get the engines to start, neither manually nor via EFB. The engines remain at 1.3% throttle and won't spool up. When I move the throttle lever, I get a system message that the engines haven't started correctly.

Hi guys Is it only me? I think the aileron responsiveness is much more agressive then the pitch axis. I can barely maintain a smooth and stable approach when handflying. I have turned down the responsive curve but that doesn't help much. The plane seems to ignore very little movments on the aileron. I can fly other planes with same setup without any problems.

Hey, I couldn't find something about that so I started a new topic. Please correct me if I am wrong. I did a flight from ETNW to BGGH. Calculated Block Fuel was 25.7t, Trip Fuel 16.7t. Even on my first Fuel check I saw that the Fuel used didn't match with the FOB. The FU was almost exactly as calculated, but the remaining Fuel on Board was far away from that. For example, after around 4 hours I had 16t FU but I still had 22.2t FOB. That doesn't make any sense. Was it my fault or is it a system fault? And if its a system fault @iniBuilds Team I would appreciate a fix. Best regards judiekne

Hi trying to use the a400 in onair company great plane my favourite in the sim. The a400m can carry 37 tons of payload or just under 82,000 lbs of cargo however in the EFB the maximum you can load into the plane is 43.000 lbs of cargo instead of the 82.000lbs as it should be so the cargo payload is off by 17 tons is this going to be fixed in a update as 17 tons of payload is alot of cargo space to be missing. I have tried setting kgs and lbs but still the max i can set in the EFB ZFW is off by 17 tons. Please see attached images of the problem the simbrief profile also only lets you load 20 tons instead of 37.

Inibuilds! We are in SU4 and nothing has been corrected with the A400M! Start in cold and dark impossible to drive the brakes are blocked, the engines start too fast... in short, a fix or planned or you will forget the A400M?

The SU2 has just been released and I cannot move de A400 when starting cold. I believe the problem is the game seems to think the chocks are still on. The chocks now appear correctly and are removed by clicking them, but the option of removing them from the EFB is no longer available, just the GPU, I don't know if this might be the problem. I'm in Free flight.

As in Titel, everytime i try to enter the approach for OJMS i get a WASM crash and need to restart the A400 I'm on SU3 and not on the Beta. I'm using the current Navigraph AIRAC, because OJMS is not supported in defaul AIRAC.

Hello. New in MSFS2024 and trying to make Simbrief work in the Airbus A400M MCDU. All software installed, subscription unlimited and connected to Navigraph… After my FPL is created, I imported it and the FPL is available in both EFB (Aircraft and MSFS Tablet). Then from the MCDU, I click on INIT REQUEST and nothing happens, with a message stating ERROR DOWNLOADING DATA. I have contacted Navigraph support and, after investigation, they suggest to contact you for investigation with aircraft debugging. Thanks (edited)

Hi guys, I have noticed that the main gear behaves not realistically. if you land and you are just a tiny bit not flat (I mean landing on one of the maingear then the other) the aircraft banks enormously,almost touching the wings on the ground. I am real life pilot, I can't believe that it behaves that way in reality it behaves like it has almost no schock dampers please fix this asap please thanks yves Lefèvre

Constant WASM crashes with the A400M. Each time I clear WASM and streamedpackages, just for it to happen once again. I am using sim update 2. Is there any work in development to solve some of the issues with this aircraft, to be released with future sim updates?

I have been trying to get this to work on the A400 for hours now, I've done literally everything i can think of up to changing my pilot ID in simbrief several times, and it still wont upload the flight plan, I've quadruple checked everything repeatedly for correctness and cannot get it to work.

I'm trying to create a profile for AAO and I cannot find the right variables to switch the batteries on. To start with I don't receive any event when I click the Bat 1, Bat 2 or ESS bat buttons. But if I search for events that could be battery-related, the ones I find do not work. For instance, (L:INI_BATTERY_ON, Number) reads 1 when I switch either on Bat 1 or Bat 2, but it's not settable or I haven't found the way to do it. Also (L:__ELEC_BAT1IsPressed, Number), (L:__ELEC_BAT2IsPressed, Number) and (L:__ELEC_BAT_ESSIsPressed, Number) are readable but not settable. The common key events for batteries don't seem to work. Any help would be appreciated

* When spawning in C&D using the A400M and going through the power up process normally, after starting the engines and removing the Chocks the Brake pressure is stuck at 1.9 on each side. There seams to be no way to solve this other then to use Panel States: Ready for takeoff. I do not have isolated what causes this. Switching around hydraulics, warping to other stands or so does nothing. * When toggling Panel State: Ready for Takeoff after the APU was started, the APU ignition button(the lower one) will be stuck on "Avail" while the Master switch becomes unusable. * After using Panel State: Ready for Takeoff from actual Cold & Dark the HUD is blue rathe…

When the HDG/TRK button is pressed to switch from HDG to TRK mode while tha AP was already on, selecting a track value and pulling the knob does not turn to follow the track, instead on each pull the value resets to current heading and the plane just holds current roll angle. Is that the correct procedure to engage TRK mode? If so, then it might be broken. Can anyone confirm?
