Plane becomes unresponsive

Featured Replies

After pause the flight with ESC for 5 min, the plane comes unresponsive.

Couldn't use any button or switch because they are freeze.

Views are still working, and the only instrument still shows changes is the altimeter.

Flight controls via yoke still working.

Just to say, the Sim himself didn't crash, and I could end the sim on a normal way. So please don't blame MSFS.

I had this yesterday after an 8 hour flight, turning downwind. I do not know what caused it as I don't think I messed with the escape.

Heya, I can´t reproduce this unfortunately.

Can you give me detailed steps on how to reliably reproduce this? Thanks in advance 🙂

FWIW - I have experienced this at least twice in the PMDG737-800 but with no clear pattern of triggering events.  I know you don't want to hear MSFS but if 2 separate vendors exhibit the same issue then it *may* be.

Had this yesterday myself - what seemed to have triggered the freeze in my case was requesting ATIS from the ACARS menu. Definitely not persistent as I tried this action again in a later flight without issue.

Yes, ATIS request is a known issue, at this point in time it is recommended to not use it.

Currently, I'm unsure what kind of part from (Use ESC for pause) was unclear?

Additional to the issue above, the plane comes uncontrollable after AP turns off for what ever reason.

Currently, I've the same feeling as I bought the 300 for XP. I'm not a beta tester, and from a company like inibuilds I could expect more quality at release.

Why you release a feature which is known as not working?

Look, I´m trying to help you here, so I don´t understand the tone. I´ve told you I can´t repropduce the error when just pressing ESC and waiting 5 minutes.

That´s why I asked if you did anything else and if you can reliably reproduce this error. I unfortunately can´t help you if you can´t provide me this information.
