Nuttyal Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 Hi everyone. I have recently purchased the IniScenes EGLL Add-On and have updated to the latest version. The Add-On works very well and am very pleased. I have downloaded the executable file for the VDGS and run as per the instructions. I have ensured there are no other conflicting EGLL folders in my Community Folder. I cannot get the VDGS to work even after reinstalling. I noticed on another post with the same issue a comment about deleting a .xml file but it doesn't say what files need to be deleted. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
Biggles Posted March 24, 2022 Posted March 24, 2022 "C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Content.xml" Delete the file "Content.xml", it gets rebuilt next time you start the sim
Nuttyal Posted March 24, 2022 Author Posted March 24, 2022 Thanks BIGGLES I will try as soon as MSFS is working again after this morning's update. As usual, everything goes wild after updates!!🤨 I Will let you know outcome

Nuttyal Posted March 27, 2022 Author Posted March 27, 2022 Hi Biggles Once again thanks for your response. Deleted the content.xml from the LocalCache folder as suggested and ran the inibuilds executable file Flew into EGLL and lined up into Gate 520. The VDGS didn't activate. At a loss now as what to try next. Have raised the issue with iniBuilds Support. Now awaiting further help from them
Speedbird643 Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 Having the same issue, latest version installed along with the VDGS addon, however I can't find the folder mentioned above within the Packages folder to try deleting the .xml file (I use the Steam version)

Speedbird643 Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 Thanks - the location was correct so I was able to delete the file, but unfortunately it hasn't fixed the issue
JoshF Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 This VDGS issue should've been fixed in an update,so this thread is locked
