KCRW Major Mesh Error

Featured Replies

Good evening my friends

I just purchased KCRW from Xometry and upon loading I noticed many floating objects. I do not have anything installed other than XAmerica for better Autogen and SAM Seasons but I highly doubt that the problem lies here.

Best to take a look at the screenshots

Thanks in advance for a potential solution 😄

@NukeTheGopniks Hello, thanks for reaching out! It seems like you haven't installed the included mesh file. Go to the included folder called "Mesh_Options". Inside this folder, you'll see three folders, but just focus on z_KCRW_Xometry_mesh. Put this folder into the Custom Scenery folder of your XP installation and start XP. Then quit XP, go to X-Plane 11/Custom Scenery/scenery_packs.ini. Now you should see two lines on top: z_KCRW_Xometry_mesh and Xometry - KCRW West Virginia Intl. Yeager Airport. Now change the order to this:

SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Xometry - KCRW West Virginia Intl. Yeager Airport/

SCENERY_PACK Custom z_KCRW_Xometry_mesh/

Save the file and close it. Restart XP and the problem should now be fixed.

Mesh files must be always installed underneath the scenery folder. Otherwise, the scenery will not show up correctly.

Hope that helps 🙂

Kind Regards

Chris
